let Him deliver him if He wants him."
ولينجه إن كان يريده."

+ أحاطت بي كلاب كثيرة.
OusinaghogeeⲞⲩⲥⲩⲛⲁⲅⲱⲅⲏ engagvonⲛ̀ϫⲁϫⲃⲱⲛ petasamoniⲡⲉⲧⲁⲥⲁ̀ⲙⲟⲛⲓ emmoi.ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲓ.
The assembly of the wicked has enclosed me.
مجمع الأشرار إكتنفتني.

They pierced my hands and feet,
ثقبوا يديَّ ورجليَّ وأحصوا كل عظامي،

they counted all my bones,
وهم تأملوني فأبصروني.

أقتسموا ثيابي بينهم وعلي لباسي إقترعوا.

They divided my garments among them and for my clothing they cast lots.
وأنت يا رب لا تتباعد عن معونتي،
ma-ehtheekⲙⲁϩ̀ⲑⲏⲕ etajinⲉ̀ⲧⲁϫⲓⲛ shoptϣⲟⲡⲧ erok.ⲉ̀ⲣⲟⲕ.
But You O Lord, do not let my help be far from me and attend to my redemption.

those who have given me evil in return for good deeds.
الذين جازوني عوض الخيرات شروراً.
Avti-eshtouitⲀⲩϯϣ̀ⲑⲟⲩⲓⲧ kharoiϧⲁⲣⲟⲓ jeϫⲉ naichojiⲛⲁⲓϭⲟϫⲓ peⲡⲉ ensaⲛ̀ⲥⲁ timethmee.ϯⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ.

ومن يعزيني فلم أجد،

and for one to comfort me, I did not find;
وجعلوا في طعامي مرارة

and they gave gall for my food and for my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.
وفي عطشي سقوني خلاً.

لتُظلِم عيونهم

فلا يبصورا لأنهم طاردوا من إبتليته.

But You O Lord my God,
أنت
ei-ekoⲉⲓⲉ̀ⲭⲱ empa-epnevmaⲙ̀ⲡⲁⲡ̀ⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁ khenϧⲉⲛ nekjig.ⲛⲉⲕϫⲓϫ.
I shall put my spirit in Your hands.

Let them not enter Your righteousness,

وليُمحوا من سفر الأحياء،

and not be written with the righteous.
ومع الصديقين لا يكتبوا.

جعلوني في جُب سفلي،

in dark places,
في مواضع مظلمة،

and the shadow of death.
وظلال الموت.

هل النائم لا يعود أن يقوم.

have mercy upon me and raise me up,
يا رب إرحمني وإقمني،

The Lord heard and had mercy upon me.
سمع الرب فرحمني.

You have turned my mourning into joy for me.

Than they shall say in the nations,
حينئذ يُقال في الامم أن
jeϫⲉ a-epshoisⲁ̀Ⲡ̀ⲟ̅ⲥ̅ tasheⲧⲁϣⲉ iriⲓ̀ⲣⲓ nemoou:ⲛⲉⲙⲱⲟⲩ:
"The Lord has done great things
الرب قد عظَّم الصنيع معهم،

with them," the Lord has done great things for us,
أكثر الرب الصنيع معنا،

so we became joyful.
فصِرنا فرحين.
