I lifted up my eyes,
رفعت عيني إلى الجبال،
ekotiⲉ̀ⲕⲱϯ ensativo-eethia:ⲛ̀ⲥⲁϯⲃⲟⲏ̀ⲑⲓⲁ:
to the mountains,
باحثاً عن المعونة،
emfoouⲙ̀ⲫⲟⲟⲩ evolⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ hiten:ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ:
to seek help today,
اليوم من عند،
faⲫⲁ tieksousia.ϯⲉⲝⲟⲩⲥⲓⲁ.
from the God of authority.

VonⲂⲟⲛ nivenⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ evereshfeeri:ⲉⲩⲉⲣϣ̀ⲫⲏⲣⲓ:
Everyone is amazed,
الكل يتعجبون،

and their hearts wonder,
ويندهشون بقلوبهم،

when they see His works,
عند ما رأوا أعماله،

وعِظُم رحمته.

He said with his voice,
قائلاً بصوته،

"The firmament was ripped asunder,
انفتح الجلد،
o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ avmonmenⲁⲩⲙⲟⲛⲙⲉⲛ enjeⲛ̀ϫⲉ pitoou:ⲡⲓⲧⲱⲟⲩ:
and the mountains were shaken,
وتزلزلت الجبال،
o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ avkimⲁⲩⲕⲓⲙ enjeⲛ̀ϫⲉ nikalamfoou.ⲛⲓⲕⲁⲗⲁⲙⲫⲱⲟⲩ.
and hills were moved."
وتحركت التلال.
ZeⲌⲉ ontosⲟⲛⲧⲟⲥ AvkoukⲀⲃⲕⲟⲩⲕ pi-eprofeetees:ⲡⲓⲡ̀ⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲏⲥ:
For truly Habakkuk the prophet,
حقاً حبقوق النبي،

proclaimed and said,
صرخ قائلاً،

"The mountains were scattered asunder,
أن الجبال إنسحقت،

and the nations were dissolved."
والأمم إنحلت.

and a cloud covered them,
وسحابه ظللتهم،

they spoke with the Messiah.

It is good for us O Master,
حسناً لنا أيها السيد،

to put three tabernacles in this place,
أن نأخذ في هذا المكان ثلاث مظال،

one for You and one for Moses,

and one for Elijah.

فجأة سمعوا أولاً،

the word concerning Him,
الكلمة من أجله،

Truly the disciples,
حقاً لما رآه،

saw Him and prostrated,

for He is the true Judge.

Yes indeed He ordered them,
حقاً أمرهم،

not to speak of the vision,
أن لا يتكلموا،

and afterward He filled them,
بالرؤيا،

with all grace.
وبعد ذلك ملأهم بالنعم.

+ Then He opened their minds,
حينئذ فتح إداركهم،
jeϫⲉ EnthofⲚ̀ⲑⲟϥ peⲡⲉ pimonogenees:ⲡⲓⲙⲟⲛⲟⲅⲉⲛⲏⲥ:
to know that He is the only-begotten,
أنه هو الوحيد الجنس،

He came and became the Son of man,
جاء وصار إبن بشر،

He will judge in retribution.
وسيحكم في الدينونة.

بقية شعبك،
