announced to the Virgin,
بشَّر العذراء
menensaⲙⲉⲛⲉⲛⲥⲁ pi-aspasmosⲡⲓⲁ̀ⲥⲡⲁⲥⲙⲟⲥ aftagroⲁϥⲧⲁϫⲣⲟ emmosⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ khenϧⲉⲛ pefsaji.ⲡⲉϥⲥⲁϫⲓ.
and after the greeting, he strengthened her saying.
وبعد السلام قوَّها بقوله:
JeϪⲉ empererhotiⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲣⲉⲣϩⲟϯ Mariam:Ⲙⲁⲣⲓⲁⲙ:
"Do not be afraid Mary,
لا تخافي
arejimiⲁ̀ⲣⲉϫⲓⲙⲓ gharⲅⲁⲣ enou-ehmot:ⲛ̀ⲟⲩϩ̀ⲙⲟⲧ:
for you have found favor with God,
يا مريم لأنك
khatenϧⲁⲧⲉⲛ EfnotiⲪϯ heeppeϩⲏⲡⲡⲉ gharⲅⲁⲣ tera-ervoki:ⲧⲉⲣⲁⲉ̀ⲣⲃⲟⲕⲓ:
behold you will conceive,
وجدت نعمة عند الله.
o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ entemisiⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲙⲓⲥⲓ enousheeri.ⲛ̀ⲟⲩϢⲏⲣⲓ.
and bring forth a Son."
ها ستحبلين وتلدين ابناً.

of the Father before all ages.
المولود من الآب قبل كل الدهور خلصنا
sotiⲥⲱϯ emmonⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲛ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ naiⲛⲁⲓ nan.ⲛⲁⲛ.
Save us and have mercy upon us.
