من مراثى أرميا النبى بركته المقدسة تكون معنا،

o-waiⲀ̅ anokⲁ̀ⲛⲟⲕ efromiⲫ̀ⲣⲱⲙⲓ anokⲁ̀ⲛⲟⲕ ethnavⲉⲑⲛⲁⲩ etimetheeki:ⲉ̀ϯⲙⲉⲧϩⲏⲕⲓ:
(1) I am the man who has seen affliction by the rod of His wrath.
(1) أَنَا هُوَ الرَّجُلُ الَّذِي رأَى مَذَلَّةً بِقَضِيبِ سَخَطِهِ.
afiⲁϥⲓ̀ e-ehreeⲉ̀ϩ̀ⲣⲏⲓ egoiⲉ̀ϫⲱⲓ khenϧⲉⲛ pishvotⲡⲓϣⲃⲱⲧ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ pefgont.ⲡⲉϥϫⲱⲛⲧ.
He has led me and made me walk In darkness and not in light.
قَادَنِي وَسَيَّرَنِي فِي الظَّلاَمِ وَلاَ نُورَ.
AfamoniⲀϥⲁ̀ⲙⲟⲛⲓ emmoiⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲓ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ afoltⲁϥⲟⲗⲧ ekhounⲉ̀ϧⲟⲩⲛ eoukakiⲉ̀ⲟⲩⲭⲁⲕⲓ eowoiniⲉ̀ⲟⲩⲱⲓⲛⲓ an:ⲁⲛ:
Surely He has turned His hand against me Time and time again throughout the day.
حَقّاً إِنَّهُ يَعُودُ وَيَرُدُّ عَلَيَّ يَدَهُ الْيَوْمَ كُلَّهُ.
epleenⲡ̀ⲗⲏⲛ aftastoⲁϥⲧⲁⲥⲑⲟ entefjigⲛ̀ⲧⲉϥϫⲓϫ enekhreeⲛ̀ϧ̀ⲣⲏⲓ enkheetⲛ̀ϧⲏⲧ empi-ehoouⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲉ̀ϩⲟⲟⲩ teerf.ⲧⲏⲣϥ.
He has aged my flesh and my skin, And broken my bones.
أَبْلَى لَحْمِي وَجِلْدِي. كَسَّرَ عِظَامِي.
esnavⲂ̅ AfthreslomⲀϥⲑⲣⲉⲥⲗⲱⲙ enjeⲛ̀ϫⲉ tasarksⲧⲁⲥⲁⲣⲝ nemⲛⲉⲙ pashar:ⲡⲁϣⲁⲣ:
(2) He has besieged me
(2) بَنَى عَلَيَّ
afkhomkhemⲁϥϧⲟⲙϧⲉⲙ ennakas.ⲛ̀ⲛⲁⲕⲁⲥ.
And surrounded me
وَأَحَاطَنِي بِعَلْقَمٍ
AfkotiⲀϥⲕⲱϯ eroiⲉ̀ⲣⲟⲓ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ aforfⲁϥⲱ̀ⲣϥ enta-afeⲛ̀ⲧⲁⲁ̀ⲫⲉ ekhoun:ⲉ̀ϧⲟⲩⲛ:
with bitterness and woe.
وَمَشَقَّةٍ.
AfethemkoiⲀϥⲧ̀ϩⲉⲙⲕⲟⲓ khenϧⲉⲛ hanmaϩⲁⲛⲙⲁ enkaki:ⲛ̀ⲭⲁⲕⲓ:
He has set me
أَسْكَنَنِي
afethemsoiⲁϥⲧ̀ϩⲉⲙⲥⲟⲓ e-ekhreeⲉ̀ϧ̀ⲣⲏⲓ emefreetiⲙ̀ⲫ̀ⲣⲏϯ enhanrefmoouⲛ̀ϩⲁⲛⲣⲉϥⲙⲱⲟⲩ neneh.ⲛⲉ̀ⲛⲉϩ.
in dark places Like the dead of long ago.
فِي ظُلُمَاتٍ كَمَوْتَى الْقِدَمِ.
shomtⲄ̅ AfkotiⲀϥⲕⲱϯ eroi:ⲉ̀ⲣⲟⲓ:
(3) He has hedged me
(3) سَيَّجَ عَلَيَّ
o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ entinaerⲛ̀ϯⲛⲁⲉⲣ evolⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ an:ⲁⲛ:
in so that I cannot get out;
فَلاَ أَسْتَطِيعُ الْخُرُوجَ.
aftashoⲁϥⲧⲁϣⲟ enna-esnavhnemⲛ̀ⲛⲁⲥ̀ⲛⲁⲩϩⲛⲉⲙ pahat.ⲡⲁϩⲁⲧ.
He has made my chain heavy.
ثَقَّلَ سِلْسِلَتِي.
tinamoutiϯⲛⲁⲙⲟⲩϯ jeϫⲉ e-epshoiⲉ̀ⲡ̀ϣⲱⲓ ouveefⲟⲩⲃⲏϥ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ mpefsotemⲙⲡⲉϥⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ eroiⲉ̀ⲣⲟⲓ entaoshⲛ̀ⲧⲁⲱϣ evolⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ harof:ϩⲁⲣⲟϥ:
Even when I cry and shout, He shuts out my prayer.
أَيْضاً حِينَ أَصْرُخُ
empefⲙ̀ⲡⲉϥ timatiϯⲙⲁϯ jeϫⲉ e-ethreⲉ̀ⲑ̀ⲣⲉ ta-eprosevsheeⲧⲁⲡ̀ⲣⲟⲥⲉⲩⲭⲏ cholk.ϭⲱⲗⲕ.
He has blocked my ways
وَأَسْتَغِيثُ يَصُدُّ صَلاَتِي.
AfkotiⲀϥⲕⲱϯ e-ehrenⲉ̀ϩ̀ⲣⲉⲛ namoit:ⲛⲁⲙⲱⲓⲧ:
with hewn stone;
سَيَّجَ طُرُقِي بِحِجَارَةٍ مَنْحُوتَةٍ.
o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ afeshtmaⲁϥϣ̀ⲑⲙⲁ ennamoitⲛ̀ⲛⲁⲙⲱⲓⲧ emmoshi.ⲙ̀ⲙⲟϣⲓ.
He has made my paths crooked.
قَلَبَ سُبُلِي.
eftouⲆ̅ AseshtorterⲀⲥϣ̀ⲑⲟⲣⲧⲉⲣ enjeⲛ̀ϫⲉ ousarksⲟⲩⲥⲁⲣⲝ esgor.ⲉⲥϫⲟⲣ.
(4) He has been to me a bear lying
(4) هُوَ لِي دُبٌّ
EnthofⲚ̀ⲑⲟϥ peⲡⲉ tafermouiⲧⲁϥⲉⲣⲙⲟⲩⲓ̀ eroiⲉ̀ⲣⲟⲓ khenϧⲉⲛ pimaⲡⲓⲙⲁ etheep.ⲉⲧϩⲏⲡ.
in wait,
كَامِنٌ أَسَدٌ
AfchojiⲀϥϭⲟϫⲓ ensaⲛ̀ⲥⲁ fee-etohiⲫⲏⲉⲧⲟϩⲓ eratf:ⲉ̀ⲣⲁⲧϥ:
Like a lion in ambush.
فِي مَخَابِئَ.
o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ afrakhtⲁϥⲣⲁϧⲧ afkhatⲁϥⲭⲁⲧ eitakeeout.ⲉⲓⲧⲁⲕⲏⲟⲩⲧ.
He has turned aside my ways
مَيَّلَ طُرُقِي
AfcholkⲀϥϭⲱⲗⲕ enteffitiⲛ̀ⲧⲉϥⲫⲓϯ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ aftahoiⲁϥⲧⲁϩⲟⲓ eratⲉ̀ⲣⲁⲧ emefreetiⲙ̀ⲫ̀ⲣⲏϯ enou-eskopos:ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲥ̀ⲕⲟⲡⲟⲥ:
and torn me in pieces;
وَمَزَّقَنِي.
ethrefhiouiⲉⲑⲣⲉϥϩⲓⲟⲩⲓ̀ empefsovtiⲙ̀ⲡⲉϥⲥⲟⲃϯ ekhounⲉ̀ϧⲟⲩⲛ eroi.ⲉ̀ⲣⲟⲓ.
He has made me desolate.
جَعَلَنِي خَرَاباً.
etiouⲈ̅ AfethrousheⲀϥⲑ̀ⲣⲟⲩϣⲉ ekhounⲉ̀ϧⲟⲩⲛ ena-echlotⲉ̀ⲛⲁϭ̀ⲗⲱⲧ enjeⲛ̀ϫⲉ nisothnefⲛⲓⲥⲟⲑⲛⲉϥ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ pefeskevosⲡⲉϥⲥ̀ⲕⲉⲩⲟⲥ enhisothnef.ⲛ̀ϩⲓⲥⲟⲑⲛⲉϥ.
(5) He has bent His bow And set me up as a target for the arrow.
(5) مَدَّ قَوْسَهُ وَنَصَبَنِي كَغَرَضٍ لِلسَّهْمِ.
AishopiⲀⲓϣⲱⲡⲓ ensoviⲛ̀ⲥⲱⲃⲓ empalaosⲙ̀ⲡⲁⲗⲁⲟⲥ teerf:ⲧⲏⲣϥ:
He has caused the arrows of His quiver To pierce my loins.
أَدْخَلَ فِي كُلْيَتَيَّ نِبَالَ جُعْبَتِهِ.
naiⲛⲁⲓ oiⲟⲓ empsalmosⲙ̀ⲯⲁⲗⲙⲟⲥ noouⲛⲱⲟⲩ empi-ehoouⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲉ̀ϩⲟⲟⲩ teerf.ⲧⲏⲣϥ.
I have become the ridicule of all my people-- Their taunting song all the day.
صِرْتُ ضِحْكَةً لِكُلِّ شَعْبِي
AfetsoiⲀϥⲧ̀ⲥⲟⲓ enshashi:ⲛ̀ϣⲁϣⲓ:
He has filled me with bitterness,
وَأُغْنِيَةً لَهُمُ الْيَوْمَ كُلَّهُ.
o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ afethrithakhiⲁϥⲑ̀ⲣⲓⲑⲁϧⲓ khenϧⲉⲛ o-enshashi.ⲟⲩⲉⲛϣⲁϣⲓ.
He has made me drink wormwood.
أَشْبَعَنِي مَرَائِرَ وَأَرْوَانِي أَفْسَنْتِيناً
soouⲋ O-wohⲞⲩⲟϩ afthrevioⲁϥⲑⲣⲉⲃⲓⲟ ennanaghiⲛ̀ⲛⲁⲛⲁϫϩⲓ khenowalϧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲁⲗ enoni:ⲛ̀ⲱ̀ⲛⲓ:
(6) He has also broken my teeth with gravel,
(6) وَجَرَشَ بِالْحَصَى أَسْنَانِي.
aftemmoiⲁϥⲧⲉⲙⲙⲟⲓ enoukermi:ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲕⲉⲣⲙⲓ:
And covered me with ashes.
كَبَسَنِي بِالرَّمَادِ.
O-wohⲞⲩⲟϩ afhiouiⲁϥϩⲓⲟⲩⲓ̀ emtapsisheeⲙ̀ⲧⲁⲯⲩⲭⲏ evolkhenⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗϧⲉⲛ ethireenee:ⲧ̀ϩⲓⲣⲏⲛⲏ:
You have moved my soul far from peace;
وَقَدْ أَبْعَدْتَ عَنِ السَّلاَمِ نَفْسِي.
aierepovshⲁⲓⲉⲣⲡ̀ⲱⲃϣ enna-aghathon:ⲛ̀ⲛⲁⲁ̀ⲅⲁⲑⲟⲛ:
I have forgotten prosperity.
نَسِيتُ الْخَيْرَ.
O-wohⲞⲩⲟϩ astakoⲁⲥⲧⲁⲕⲟ enjeⲛ̀ϫⲉ tahiposⲧⲁϩⲩⲡⲟⲥ tasis:ⲧⲁⲥⲓⲥ:
And I said,
وَقُلْتُ:
nemⲛⲉⲙ tahelpisⲧⲁϩⲉⲗⲡⲓⲥ evolⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ hitenϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ Epshois.Ⲡ̀ϭⲟⲓⲥ.
"My strength and my hope Have perished from the Lord.
بَادَتْ ثِقَتِي وَرَجَائِي مِنَ الرَّبِّ.
shashfⲌ̅ AierefmeviⲀⲓⲉⲣⲫ̀ⲙⲉⲩⲓ̀ evolⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ khenϧⲉⲛ tametheekiⲧⲁⲙⲉⲧϩⲏⲕⲓ nemⲛⲉⲙ pathioghmos:ⲡⲁⲇⲓⲱⲅⲙⲟⲥ:
(7) "Remember my affliction and roaming, The wormwood and the gall.
(7) ذِكْرُ مَذَلَّتِي وَتَيَهَانِي أَفْسَنْتِينٌ وَعَلْقَمٌ.
oushashiⲟⲩϣⲁϣⲓ nemⲛⲉⲙ o-enshashiⲟⲩⲉⲛϣⲁϣⲓ senaⲥⲉⲛⲁ erpamevi:ⲉⲣⲡⲁⲙⲉⲩⲓ̀:
My soul still remembers And sinks within me.
ذِكْراً تَذْكُرُ نَفْسِي وَتَنْحَنِي فِيَّ.
o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ ereⲉ̀ⲣⲉ tapsisheeⲧⲁⲯⲩⲭⲏ ermeletanⲉⲣⲙⲉⲗⲉⲧⲁⲛ nemeeⲛⲉⲙⲏⲓ epnevmaⲡ̅ⲛ̅ⲁ̅ ei-ejemⲉⲓⲉ̀ϫⲉⲙ katiⲕⲁϯ khenϧⲉⲛ paheet.ⲡⲁϩⲏⲧ.
This I recall to my mind, Therefore I have hope.
أُرَدِّدُ هَذَا فِي قَلْبِي مِنْ أَجْلِ ذَلِكَ أَرْجُو.
eshmeenⲎ̅ EthveⲈⲑⲃⲉ faiⲫⲁⲓ ei-e-amoniⲉⲓⲉ̀ⲁ̀ⲙⲟⲛⲓ entot:ⲛ̀ⲧⲟⲧ:

(8) إِنَّهُ مِنْ
enimethnaeetⲉ̀ⲛⲓⲙⲉⲑⲛⲁⲏⲧ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ Epshois:Ⲡ̀ⲟ̅ⲥ̅:
Through the Lord´s mercies
إِحْسَانَاتِ الرَّبِّ
jeϫⲉ empefkhatⲙ̀ⲡⲉϥⲭⲁⲧ ensof:ⲛ̀ⲥⲱϥ:
we are not consumed,
أَنَّنَا
outheⲟⲩⲇⲉ empavmounkⲙ̀ⲡⲁⲩⲙⲟⲩⲛⲕ enjeⲛ̀ϫⲉ nefmetshenheetⲛⲉϥⲙⲉⲧϣⲉⲛϩⲏⲧ khenϧⲉⲛ ni-avotⲛⲓⲁ̀ⲃⲟⲧ nemⲛⲉⲙ ni-ehoouⲛⲓⲉ̀ϩⲟⲟⲩ teerou.ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ.
Because His compassions fail not.
لَمْ نَفْنَ لأَنَّ مَرَاحِمَهُ لاَ تَزُولُ.
NainanⲚⲁⲓⲛⲁⲛ EpshoisⲠ̀ϭⲟⲓⲥ khenϧⲉⲛ penmounk:ⲡⲉⲛⲙⲟⲩⲛⲕ:
They are new every morning;
هِيَ جَدِيدَةٌ
jeϫⲉ empavmounkⲙ̀ⲡⲁⲩⲙⲟⲩⲛⲕ enjeⲛ̀ϫⲉ nekmetshenheet.ⲛⲉⲕⲙⲉⲧϣⲉⲛϩⲏⲧ.
Great is Your faithfulness.
فِي كُلِّ صَبَاحٍ.
KhanveriⲬⲁⲛⲃⲉⲣⲓ eveshopiⲉⲩⲉ̀ϣⲱⲡⲓ etiarshee.ⲉ̀ϯⲁⲣⲭⲏ.
"The Lord is my portion,"
كَثِيرَةٌ أَمَانَتُكَ.
peknahtiⲡⲉⲕⲛⲁϩϯ na-afⲛⲁⲁϥ pe.ⲡⲉ.
says my soul,
نَصِيبِي هُوَ
AsgosⲀⲥϫⲟⲥ enjeⲛ̀ϫⲉ tapsisheeⲧⲁⲯⲩⲭⲏ jeϫⲉ tatoiⲧⲁⲧⲟⲓ peⲡⲉ Epshois:Ⲡ̀ⲟ̅ⲥ̅:
"Therefore I hope
الرَّبُّ قَالَتْ نَفْسِي مِنْ
ethveⲉⲑⲃⲉ faiⲫⲁⲓ ei-e-amoniⲉⲓⲉ̀ⲁ̀ⲙⲟⲛⲓ entotⲛ̀ⲧⲟⲧ naf.ⲛⲁϥ.
in Him!"
أَجْلِ ذَلِكَ أَرْجُوهُ.
psitⲐ̅ O-aghathosⲞⲩⲁ̀ⲅⲁⲑⲟⲥ peⲡⲉ EpshoisⲠ̀ⲟ̅ⲥ̅ ennee-eterhipomoninⲛ̀ⲛⲏⲉ̀ⲧⲉⲣϩⲩⲡⲟⲙⲟⲛⲓⲛ erof:ⲉ̀ⲣⲟϥ:
(9) The Lord is good to those who wait for Him,
(9) طَيِّبٌ هُوَ الرَّبُّ لِلَّذِينَ يَتَرَجُّونَهُ
nanefⲛⲁⲛⲉϥ gharⲅⲁⲣ entipsisheeⲛ̀ϯⲯⲩⲭⲏ etkotiⲉⲧⲕⲱϯ ensof:ⲛ̀ⲥⲱϥ:
To the soul who seeks Him.
لِلنَّفْسِ الَّتِي تَطْلُبُهُ.
O-wohⲞⲩⲟϩ esohiⲉⲥⲟϩⲓ epiougaiⲉ̀ⲡⲓⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ Epshois:Ⲡ̀ϭⲟⲓⲥ:
It is good that one should hope and wait quietly
جَيِّدٌ أَنْ يَنْتَظِرَ الإِنْسَانُ
entesshopiⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲥϣⲱⲡⲓ khenϧⲉⲛ o-eesiki-a:ⲟⲩⲏⲥⲩⲭⲓⲁ̀:
For the salvation of the Lord.
وَيَتَوَقَّعَ بِسُكُوتٍ خَلاَصَ الرَّبِّ.
NanesⲚⲁⲛⲉⲥ empiromiⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ eshopⲉ̀ϣⲱⲡ afshanfaiⲁϥϣⲁⲛϥⲁⲓ empinahvefⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲛⲁϩⲃⲉϥ egofⲉ̀ϫⲱϥ isjenⲓⲥϫⲉⲛ tefmetalou.ⲧⲉϥⲙⲉⲧⲁ̀ⲗⲟⲩ.
It is good for a man to bear The yoke in his youth.
جَيِّدٌ لِلرَّجُلِ أَنْ يَحْمِلَ النِّيرَ فِي صِبَاهُ.
meetⲒ̅ EfnahemsiϤ̀ⲛⲁϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ e-ekhreeⲉ̀ϧ̀ⲣⲏⲓ emmavatf:ⲙ̀ⲙⲁⲩⲁⲧϥ:
(10) Let him sit alone and keep silent,
(10) يَجْلِسُ وَحْدَهُ وَيَسْكُتُ لأَنَّهُ قَدْ وَضَعَهُ عَلَيْهِ.
entefkarofⲛ̀ⲧⲉϥⲭⲁⲣⲱϥ jeϫⲉ aftalofⲁϥⲧⲁⲗⲟϥ egof.ⲉ̀ϫⲱϥ.
Because God has laid it on him;
يَجْعَلُ فِي التُّرَابِ فَمَهُ لَعَلَّهُ يُوجَدُ رَجَاءٌ.
efnakharofϥ̀ⲛⲁⲭⲁⲣⲱϥ khenϧⲉⲛ epkahiⲡ̀ⲕⲁϩⲓ areeouⲁ̀ⲣⲏⲟⲩ entefjemⲛ̀ⲧⲉϥϫⲉⲙ ouhelpispnaⲟⲩϩⲉⲗⲡⲓⲥⲡ̅ⲛ̅ⲁ̅ EfnarikiϤ̀ⲛⲁⲣⲓⲕⲓ entefowojiⲛ̀ⲧⲉϥⲟⲩⲟϫⲓ emfee-ethnarakhtfⲙ̀ⲫⲏⲉⲑⲛⲁⲣⲁϧⲧϥ eros:ⲉ̀ⲣⲟⲥ:
Let him put his mouth in the dust-- There may yet be hope. Let him give his cheek to the one who strikes him, And be full of reproach.
يُعْطِي خَدَّهُ لِضَارِبِهِ. يَشْبَعُ عَاراً.
efesiⲉϥⲉ̀ⲥⲓ eneshfit.ⲛ̀ϣ̀ⲫⲓⲧ.
For the Lord will not cast off forever.
لأَنَّ السَّيِّدَ لاَ يَرْفُضُ إِلَى الأَبَدِ.
meet o-wai Je ennefkaf ensof enje-epshois sha-eneh.Ⲓ̅Ⲁ̅ Ϫⲉ ⲛ̀ⲛⲉϥⲭⲁϥ ⲛ̀ⲥⲱϥ ⲛ̀ϫⲉⲠ̀ⲟ̅ⲥ̅ ϣⲁⲉ̀ⲛⲉϩ.
(11) Though He causes grief,
(11) فَإِنَّهُ
JeϪⲉ eneⲉ̀ⲛⲉ aftheviofⲁϥⲑⲉⲃⲓⲟϥ efeshenheetⲉϥⲉ̀ϣⲉⲛϩⲏⲧ kataⲕⲁⲧⲁ epashaiⲡ̀ⲁ̀ϣⲁⲓ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ pefnai:ⲡⲉϥⲛⲁⲓ:
Yet He will show compassion According to the multitude of His mercies.
وَلَوْ أَحْزَنَ يَرْحَمُ حَسَبَ كَثْرَةِ مَرَاحِمِهِ.
