I understand it's not dogma, and the debate of the Book of Enoch is not important for our salvation. But our church as a whole doesn't believe in the book, so in this case his views did equate the views of the church. I just want to know what HH s…

This is awesome! Thank you! Is there text for these or are they passed on orally?
-
Wow...I am speechless, this is amazing, I almost can't believe all this actually exists. Thank you so much!!!
-
That's true, but that's Greco Bohairic. I'm looking for something in the original Bohairic, like what Abouna Shenouda Maher speaks
-
http://www.agpeya.org/ May not be exactly the one you're looking for but this is in modern English and you can download them as PDF's

@minatasgeel Thank you for all the info -lol...yeah I don't know about that. Do you know where I can find a recording of joyful intro? or even the annunciation and nativity ones?
-
While we're on the subject... -Which parts of the verses of the cymbals are chanted in a joyful tune? The intro and the ones pertaining to the feasts? -Coptic Reader doesn't have "Shere Ghabriel" in the verses of the cymbal for the annunciation, s…

3) I checked it this morning, it had the responses for the three occasions.

This is awesome! Thank you for taking the time to do this

So how would you determine which direction to face? I don't think I understand how a language can be an opposite of another language
-
@ophadece I'm sorry but what do you mean by the "opposite" of a language. Abouna says that if a language isn't Coptic then you face the west because you're translating the prayer to the people no matter what that language is. If it's in Coptic the…

@ophadece Okay, thank you! I thought so.. what made me wonder is that it was 3 different liturgies with the same first 2 stanzas, big coincidence! @RamezM Maybe... but it seems redundant to say in English twice, since you'll say it again when y…

So you'd say the day's psalm, right?
-
Thank you for your response! So the 3 psalms I listened to just happen to have the same first 2 stikhons? Or do you always say those 2 first? 3. Yeah, I'm sure it's Ibrahim, he was introduced in the beginning of the liturgy. The recording is old …

@ShareTheLord Thank you for the book recommendation (it's on my list of books I have to read) and the advice. Abouna, thank you so much for taking the time to write that detailed response! You brought up a lot of practical good points I hadn't th…

Do you know of a source where I can find the rites of Tasbeha in general?
-
That's what I had thought, but my church uses the Coptic Presentations and they have a Psali before each hos, and an "ode to the Resurrection", but I haven't been able to find those anywhere else
-
Yeah, I'm mainly asking because Coptic Reader is very different from the Coptic Presentations. I wanted to see if there are rites assigned by the church on what's supposed to be said, or a Psalmodia for occasions I can buy from somewhere..
