  • I personally have trouble with the idea of 7 literal days. That may well be because of my secular upbringing and study of physics at school. I know that God can do anything and take however long he wishes to do something since he is working on a non…
  • As far as I see it, people can eat what they want. Their spiritual life is not effected by whether they are vegetarian or not as long as they keep their fasts.
  • [quote author=henrik.hank link=topic=11766.msg140689#msg140689 date=1309613572] Nofri! When the first church split occurred the Copts (well, at least most of them) chose to become Oriental Orthodoxes instead of being Catholics or Eastern Orthodoxes…

  • What I mean to say is that he should not judge the power of the Church by the petty actions of some people.
  • What gets me is that he "decyphered" the bible (the cliche leather bound KJV no doubt) and found a date. I, on the other hand, with my somewhat lacking decyphering skills have discovered something too..."You also must be ready, because the Son of M…

  • In Rome, becoming a saint is a very detailed and lengthy process. 1.A local bishop investigates the candidate's life and writings for evidence of heroic virtue. The information uncovered by the bishop is sent to the Vatican. 2.A panel of theologia…
