help! my friend has converted to Jehovah's Witnesses
she doesn't accept the fact that Jesus is God. i gave her some points form H. H. Shenouda book about Jehovah witnesses but she was not convinced by them. i don't know how to help her!

I think you should talk to your Father of Confession
fight with knowledge lest you get consumed with the fire of ignorance! so search all you can about it, and be well equipped! and also ask your father of confession or your spiritual guide as mike said!

First, if i was in your shoes, I'd explain to them where their Church came from and what happened to Arius. (how he died!). lol - He died in a very bizarre and disgusting way. I mean, REALLY revolting way. There was definately something God was not happy with. I think its clear. If u read the Nicene and Post nicene fathers, they even had a little chat between themselves (writings etc) on how he died.
Anyway, this is all wrong. God is a perpetual Father to Christ who is a perpetual son. This is important. He and the Father are equal. Tell them to read St John's Gospel, chapter 1. Just read it through with them. Its as clear as crystal. I've read loads of posts from Jehovah's witnesses who say that Arius just had small stomach problems. lol..
"small" is not the word here.
I mean, this is the sickest way any man could die... seriously.
Arius said: "We must either suppose two divine original essences, without beginning and independent of each other, we must substitute a dyarchy for a monarchy, or we must not shrink from asserting that the logos had a beginning of his existence - that there was when he was not. That basically means, He is saying that Christ was NOT there from the beginning.. i.e. there was a time when Christ did not exist. This is DIRECTLY against our Lord's word, who said "Before Abraham, I AM". Also, its against the Gospel of St. John!
To be perfectly honest with u, U must read how Arius died. PLEASE!! Just find out how this loser died, and give her a copy of it. Just the way he died should be a testimony on what he preached.

Christ took the form of our humility. In this sense, He is saying "greater" - that it pertains to the glory, not position.
Christ, in His Glory, became man. Where is the Glory in becoming a Man? We say :"He humbled himself and took the form of a servent".
Arius died the way he did because he was so full of crap! Jehovah's Witnesses say the Lord Jesus is really the ArchAngel, St. Michael. They say this because they misinterpret his name. Michael means "Who is like God?" It is a praise to God because all creation knows NOBODY is like God but God Himself in essence and we mean the Most Holy Trinity! The Witnesses say St. Michael's name means "Jesus is like God" but isn't God! However of many Biblical verses which shows jesus is not an angel but God, this one is probably addresses the issue point blank:
1 God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, 2 has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; 3 who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself[a] purged our[b] sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, 4 having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
