Well obviously if this is the problem you shouldn't be on this site in the first place. Ask someone to supervise you or something and monitor your activity and get you to focus on things you need to do like hw and what not. Talk to your parents about this, they can monitor you and get you to focus by taking away the pc(unless what you need is on there)

Well... some ppl do have problems with going on the internet alot and they do that more than they do anything else in their day. There was a post where a person asked for prayers because he/she went on my space/yahoo messenger/im/AOL alot.
Some people can't stop going on ebay website and can't stop buying things!
There are more than one way here....
bas whatever it is.... i will pray for you! one thing that helps me stop sinning is to remember that we are in the great lent.... also to remember how would i feel if i was doing this and god was siting right next to me?!
One thing to help if it was a computer and internet problems is to put the computer somewhere in the house where everyone in the house can see monitor and see what you are doing. I have moved my computer to the living room because i can't stand studying in my room cuz i'd fall asleep and not study!

as I said up there, tell somebody you trust, a good christian, a friend, and have them hold you accountable, and ask you frequently how you're doing. It's also a given that when they ask you, you tell them the truth, though I probably didn't have to mention that.
Also, Its good that you recognized the sin, so thats the first step there! And keep praying about it!
i think even if u try going on games instead there will still be temptation.. better not to go on the PC when you are alone/ put the pc in the living room or somewhere else other than your bedroom.
i am not sure if what u mean by 'sites' is like bad websites but have a look at this website it can give u some advice:
even if you find yourself still go on these websites, pray and ask for forgiveness..dont say oh there is no point i keep doing it all the time..it is better to try than do nothing about it and dont think God doesnt take account of your willingness to be good..he will help you.
