We are all familiar with the commandment dealing with Honouring our Fathers/Mothers. But I've been wondering..? What if honouring your parents leads you away from God, what do you do? I know that this sounds a little odd, but for example, if you want to go to church, but your parents won't let you? ..or if you want to fast, and your parents also won't let you? The scenarios are endless..

Its kiind of a contradicting situation which confuses me..so let me know what you think plz/thks

    well there is this verse, i dont know the exact quote, but it goes like this, "If you cannot hate you mother and brother, your brother and sister, you cannot follow me."
