Annual Vespers/Matins psalm trailer

Hi,

I'm wondering why most cantors who teach the Vespers/Matins annual psalm trailer start with this Alleluia said that way?

When the Vespers/Matins annual psalm is chanted with its trailer, the Alleluia before the trailer is not said that way at all, it's flat and low in pitch so that the beginning of the trailer can be high in pitch.

I heard that the trailer can be said on its own, maybe that the way to start it when we don't say the psalm.
However, I've never heard someone say the psalm trailer on its own live, it would be interesting to have a recording of a live one.
