  • ? Is the pope or your bishop attending lol?!
  • the general bishop, if you are being series @ jojo_hanna
  • Sorry, rephrase please
  • i think he (?she) means 'if you are being serious'.

probably used autocorrect and missed out the 'o' from typing too fast...

  • I meant to say rephrase the whole question haha!
I don't understand it quite well, sorry...

He is asking if a General Bishop is present, which Hymn do we sing during the Feast of the Apostles? The specific hymn, I don't understand. When Coptic is in English letters, the vowels mess me up because I tend to use Italian pronunciation.
  • Hi @Jojo_Hanna
I thought you understood that he/she was referring to the hymn ϯⲙⲏϯ ⲥⲛⲟⲩϯ and that is why you asked who was attending!
    Ⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ ϧⲉⲛ Ⲡϭⲥ
  • Thank you for clarifying @ItalianCoptic

    Yes, @ophadece
That’s what my question was :)
  • The hymn could be changed at any time a Bishop is attending, Feast or not
  • could be chanted*
  • I dont believe a special hymn is chanted for a Bishop during the fast of the apostles.. the exception would be additional verses for the patriarch and bishop in Ontos Alythos.
  • Dear @Daniel_Kyrillos
Special hymns can be chanted any time a bishop or the pope are in attendance irrespective of it being a fast or not. Or do you mean if they are not in attendance and deacons want to chant more?
    Ⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ ϧⲉⲛ Ⲡϭⲥ
  • @ophadece I meant any additional hymns for the bishop to be chanted during the fast/feast (think sha nirompi for piepnevma/ouran enshosho)
