Why don’t we pray the Agpeya during the Passion Week and what should we use instead?

    Pascha prayer replaces agpeya prayers. That's why there are Matins/first, third, sixth, 9th and eleventh hour services for the day and the evening. on palm sunday, in the morning, only the 3rd and 6th agpeya hours are prayed, being a major feasts. then in the evening, the 9th and eleventh hour from pascha of plam sunday are read.

    My FOC advised me to turn EVERY reading (prophecy, psalm, gospel, commentary, homily) into a prayer.

    Find the theme in the passage, or a part that strikes you and turn that into your own prayer!  ;D
