Paramoun

What is the taks of the paramoun? Is it just like the first week of the fast?

  • - Annual rite
    - There are a couple of responses that are said: http://tasbeha.org/hymn_library/cat/76
    - Also psalies and commentaries you can say in tasbeha.
    - only thing that is really unique is Estermagee (or a madaeha after it) that can be said after psalm 150 (which is said in annual tune)

Do you have a recording of the madaeha? I have a recording for Yestermagee, but not the madaeha.

We start saying Je Avmask from the Nativity feast itself until the Circumcision Feast.

actually, you do say avmask in the paramoun....it is part of the feast more then it is part of the fast.

Interesting... Not what I was taught, but I trust your answers more.
  • not only je avmask, but amen alleluia canon is said with the nativity response.
all books i have agree with this.

    So
    1) Je Avmask
    2) Psalie and Expositions
    3) Verses of Cymbals and Doxology
    4) Praxis Response
    5) Gospel Resonse
    6) Aspasmos watos/Adam
    7) Conclusion canon
