  there was a youtube video that had the song playing, so i converted it to mp3 form.
  i have the mp3 form on iTunes, but how would i give it to you?

  ok you can go to a couple of websites that do the mp3 to video converting.
  http://www.youtube-mp3.org/
  http://www.vidtomp3.com/
  
  you simply type the url of the youtube video & download it. press "save", if you want it to be part of your itunes library, which would potentially enable you to transfer it onto an ipod.
  i use this, instead of buying songs from itunes & it works pretty well
