I am realy happy to know that I did something good to help you learn our hymns. But what I need from you a feadback so I can modify the program to make better.

That program called "Memorizing Hymns Helper V 1.2" and I did it to help people learn hymns.

hey Gerges, how are you loading the text into the app? are you doing that through a database compiled into the exe or a dynamic ling to what we have here?

It is not a database. it is just a web page loaded. I hope to do a database compiled one day. but the problem is for Arabic font.

actually. i think it's better that way....a database would take a lot of space and you can never have everything there edited....i been working on this for yrs and still not done or even close to done.

No Mina, It is saved on the program as a web page. So the only way to updat any file is to rebuild the program again.
What language is this program compiled in? VB(visual basic? C++ ...etc. I am pretty sure that there is an API for what you are looking for.
I used AutoPlay Media Studio program and that program is based on C++. Actualy there is a database but I can only use it with English not Arabic nor Coptic.

coptic, in our case of the CS fonts it's just a font face and not a script--so if you can compile that font, then that is done. with arabic, it's a matter of script.

having the pages from the hymn library dynamically update when opened from the site everytime would keep the text of hymns updated all the time.

you are funny....i havn't done c++ in year and half and i don't want to go back to it.
OK now back to my question. Does any one have Joyous Long Resurrection of Psalm 150 in Arabic? If you have it in any other occasions like Nativity will be good too.
most of the time people change into the fast way when you get to the arabic. listen to Ibrahim Ayad's or HICS files till the end that they may have the arabic but later on the track.

I know Mina, But I remember from a long time ago I heared Ibrahim Ayad started with long Arabic till the end of the psalm. I am not sure if anyone has old recording from the cathedral with this hymn.
