How to keep motivated in God's Doings?

So this new year i began with a resolution to come closer to Christ, for there is nothing like being in the Lord's path with his safety and security. I promised myself to change my ways, bring myself forth closer to the church and God himself through many ways, like praying from the agbeya, reading the bible every night, serving at church and upgrading my deacon rank. Sometimes i start slacking, for example in prayer, i get tired. My question is how do i stay motivated in my resolution in coming closer to Christ? Does anyone have bible verses that are motivational?

    MY FAVOURITE VERSE!!!!!!! I usually include number 12 with it as well haha

      12 You shall seek them and not find them—
          Those who contended with you.
          Those who war against you
          Shall be as nothing,
          As a nonexistent thing.
      13 For I, the LORD your God, will hold your right hand,
          Saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.
