Mark 13: 32

"But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."

Parallel this with Matthew 24:36 which says:

"But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only."

Although this one isn't as straightforward, this one also seems to imply that the Son does not know the day. But this can't be, because

a.) The Father and the Son are one
b.) The Son will be the one coming back to judge the world.

So why is it that Christ would say that the Son does not know the day? The only explanation I've heard for it is that since Christ was both God and Human, at times He spoke as God and at times He spoke as a human. But if His divinity and His humanity never parted, then His divinity cannot know something that His humanity does not. Correct? Can anyone explain this?
