Would it be okay if my friend forward's me her friend's notes from a class that we both missed without asking her friend if it would be okay to forward it to me?

Would you like it if someone did that to you, as in passed your notes to someone and you didn't have knowledge of it? Better to ask your friend's friend for permission.
