what happens if we dont confess

if were not comfortabel confessing with a abouna or just are scared to confess the same sin again what can we do if we truley have repented in the heart?

Actually, repentance comes before confession so you are on the right track.

If you are not comfortable with your father of confession, seek another one that you are more comfortable with, your current FoC will respect your decision (anything for your salvation!)

True repentance will not lead you to confess the sin again. And you can ask your FoC on how to execute true repentance while your at it!

And most importantly, don't be scared, confession is a sacrament of the church, its a mystery that God Himself works in, so feel safe :)
