i dont get that..how does voting on the internet get somebody a scholarship? some applicants might have cheated???

u cant really cheat..b/c they only accept one vote from each comp..if u try to vote twice they dont accept it..also on the website it tells u that u can use different comps to vote to get the most votes and such
-btw to get this scholarship its not only based on this voting..b4 this step b/c there was obviously ALOT of applicants they choose the best and made them finalist and then went thro this series of voting that u now c on the site..(even tho i think it is done now).. so the whole thing wasnt just an online popularity contest..
