I was wondering... is competition from God?
Well competition creates good jealousy and zeal. And I am emphasizing “good” cuz not all kind of jealousy is good. You can be jealous, and acting upon that, you’d heart the other just for him/her to not be better than you. That is instead of actually working and being better than them…..which explains the good jealousy.

Sorry to be the Devil's advocate, but not ALL competition creates GOOD jealousy and zeal, because there are some competitions where in fact the loser can be sore and the winner proud. But I agree with everything else, except for the fact that what you said only works in some occasions.
