Exactly couldn't agree more with christianlover...your friends should bring you closer to God not take you away from him. When you meet a new person and you want to become friends with him/her and your getting to know this person ask yourself will this person bring me closer to God? How does he help me benefit spiritually? Now I understand that in high school there are not a lot of people who are close to God. I have friends that are close to God and I have friends who I don't know if they are close with God but I do know they don't drink or do drugs and so on. You're the one that has to make the right choice.
