Saturdays of Lent Gospels

Hi all, a blessed and fruitful fast to you all!

I read a portion from Fr Alexander Schememanns, "Great Lent", which he talks about the Saturdays of Lent in his tradition, in its significance in Lent. Do we in our coptic church, have a commentary or similar understanding with our readings of Saturdays?

His Eminence Metropolitan Youssef of the Southern Diocese of the U.S. has put this document online, and it's what I use as a reference for the Lenten readings. The readings listed are the Liturgy Gospels, around which the other readings are structured. I'm not familiar with Fr. Schmemann so I can't say anything definitely about that. Hope this helps!
