On Good Friday, during the burial in the 12th hour, is the priest supposed to spray perfumes on the picture of Christ at all during the burial. I have seen this practice a few times in a few different churches, but I don't think it's proper. If anyone has any insight on this subject, a reply would be highly appreciated.
