O Mark the Apostle,
يا مرقس الرسول
ouohⲟⲩⲟϩ pi-evangelistees:ⲡⲓⲉ̀ⲩⲁ̀ⲅⲅⲉⲗⲓⲥⲧⲏⲥ:
and the evangelist,
والانجيلى
pimethreⲡⲓⲙⲉⲑⲣⲉ khaϧⲁ ni-emkavh:ⲛⲓⲙ̀ⲕⲁⲩϩ:
the witness to the passion,
الشاهد لآلام
enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ pimonogeneesⲡⲓⲙⲟⲛⲟⲅⲉⲛⲏⲥ ennouti.ⲛ̀ⲛⲟⲩϯ.
of the only-begotten God.
الاله الوحيد.

+ You have come and enlightened us,
أتيت

through your Gospel,
وأنرت لنا بانجيلك
aketsavonⲁⲕⲧ̀ⲥⲁⲃⲟⲛ emefiotⲙ̀Ⲫ̀ⲓⲱⲧ nemⲛⲉⲙ epsheeri:ⲡ̀Ϣⲏⲣⲓ:
and taught us the Father and the Son,
وعلمتنا الآب والابن
nemⲛⲉⲙ pi-epnevmaⲡⲓⲠ̀ⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁ ethowab.ⲉ̅ⲑ̅ⲩ̅.
and the Holy Spirit.
والروح القدس.
AkentenⲀⲕⲉⲛⲧⲉⲛ evolkhenⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗϧⲉⲛ epkaki:ⲡ̀ⲭⲁⲕⲓ:
You brought us out of the darkness,
وأخرجتنا من الظلمة
ekhounⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ epiowoiniⲉ̀ⲡⲓⲞⲩⲱⲓⲛⲓ emmee:ⲙ̀ⲙⲏⲓ:
into the true Light,
الى النور الحقيقى.
aktemmonⲁⲕⲧⲉⲙⲙⲟⲛ empioikⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲱⲓⲕ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ eponkh:ⲡ̀ⲱⲛϧ:
and nourished us with the Bread of life,
وأطعمتنا خبز الحياة
etafiⲉⲧⲁϥⲓ̀ epeseetⲉ̀ⲡⲉⲥⲏⲧ evolkhenⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗϧⲉⲛ etfe.ⲧ̀ⲫⲉ.
that came down from heaven.
الذى نزل من السماء.

+ All the tribes of the earth,
تباركت بك كل
enjeⲛ̀ϫⲉ nifileeⲛⲓⲫⲩⲗⲏ teerouⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ epkahi:ⲡ̀ⲕⲁϩⲓ:
were blessed through you,
قبائل الأرض.
ouohⲟⲩⲟϩ neksajiⲛⲉⲕⲥⲁϫⲓ avfoh:ⲁⲩⲫⲟϩ:
and your words have reached,
وأقوالك بلغت
shaϣⲁ avreegsⲁⲩⲣⲏϫⲥ entioikoumenee.ⲛ̀ϯⲟⲓⲕⲟⲩⲙⲉⲛⲏ.
the ends of the world.
الى أقطار المسكونة.

Hail to you O martyr,
السلام لك أيها الشهيد
