Psali (Said during the washing of the feet after Psalm 150)

Our Lord laid aside His garments,
Took a towel and girded Himself,
Poured water into a basin and washed,
The disciples´ feet.

Then He came to Simon,
To wash his feet,
And Peter said to Him,
"You shall never wash my feet."

Our Savior answered,
Simon Peter saying,
"If I do not wash you,
You have no part with Me."

Simon Peter said to Him,
"Lord, not my feet only,
But also my hands,
And my head!"

And He taught them saying,
"If I have washed your feet,
You also ought to,
Wash one another's feet."

Pray to the Lord on our behalf,
Our fathers the apostles,
And the seventy two disciples,
That He may forgive us our sins.
