The catholic epistle from the first epistle of our teacher Saint Peter, may his blessings be with us all.
الكاثوليكون من رسالة معلمنا بطرس الأولى، بركاته علينا.

Pi-ekhristosⲠⲓⲭ̀ⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ounⲟⲩⲛ etafshepemkahⲉ̀ⲧⲁϥϣⲉⲡⲙ̀ⲕⲁϩ khenϧⲉⲛ etsarksⲧ̀ⲥⲁⲣⲝ e-ehreeⲉ̀ϩ̀ⲣⲏⲓ egon:ⲉ̀ϫⲱⲛ:
Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh,
فَإِذْ قَدْ تَأَلَّمَ الْمَسِيحُ لأَجْلِنَا بِالْجَسَدِ،
o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ enthotenⲛ̀ⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ hotenϩⲱⲧⲉⲛ kheekϧⲏⲕ ethneeouⲑ̀ⲛⲏⲟⲩ empai-esmou:ⲙ̀ⲡⲁⲓⲥ̀ⲙⲟⲩ:
arm yourselves also with the same mind,
تَسَلَّحُوا أَنْتُمْ أَيْضًا بِهذِهِ النِّيَّةِ.
jeϫⲉ fee-etafchi-emkahⲫⲏⲉ̀ⲧⲁϥϭⲓⲙ̀ⲕⲁϩ khenϧⲉⲛ etsarksⲧ̀ⲥⲁⲣⲝ aftalchofⲁϥⲧⲁⲗϭⲟϥ evolⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ haϩⲁ efnovi.ⲫ̀ⲛⲟⲃⲓ.
for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin,
فَإِنَّ مَنْ تَأَلَّمَ فِي الْجَسَدِ، كُفَّ عَنِ الْخَطِيَّةِ،
e-epjinethrefeshtemshopiⲉ̀ⲡ̀ϫⲓⲛⲑ̀ⲣⲉϥϣ̀ⲧⲉⲙϣⲱⲡⲓ jeϫⲉ khenϧⲉⲛ hanepithimiaϩⲁⲛⲉ̀ⲡⲓⲑⲩⲙⲓⲁ enromiⲛ̀ⲣⲱⲙⲓ allaⲁⲗⲗⲁ epsepiⲡ̀ⲥⲉⲡⲓ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ pefonkhⲡⲉϥⲱⲛϧ khenϧⲉⲛ etsarksⲧ̀ⲥⲁⲣⲝ entefaifⲛ̀ⲧⲉϥⲁⲓϥ khenϧⲉⲛ efowoshⲫ̀ⲟⲩⲱϣ emefnoti.ⲙ̀Ⲫ̀ⲛⲟⲩϯ.
that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.
لِكَيْ لاَ يَعِيشَ أَيْضًا الزَّمَانَ الْبَاقِيَ فِي الْجَسَدِ، لِشَهَوَاتِ النَّاسِ، بَلْ لإِرَادَةِ اللهِ.
KeenⲔⲏⲛ gharⲅⲁⲣ erotenⲉ̀ⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ empiseeouⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲥⲏⲟⲩ etafsiniⲉ̀ⲧⲁϥⲥⲓⲛⲓ ereⲉ̀ⲣⲉ teniriⲧⲉⲛⲓ̀ⲣⲓ emefowoshⲙ̀ⲫ̀ⲟⲩⲱϣ enniethnosⲛ̀ⲛⲓⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ereⲉ̀ⲣⲉ tenmoshiⲧⲉⲛⲙⲟϣⲓ enekhreeⲛ̀ϧ̀ⲣⲏⲓ khenϧⲉⲛ hanchokhemϩⲁⲛϭⲱϧⲉⲙ nemⲛⲉⲙ hanepithimiaϩⲁⲛⲉ̀ⲡⲓⲑⲩⲙⲓⲁ nemⲛⲉⲙ hanthikhiϩⲁⲛⲑⲓϧⲓ enouthoⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲑⲟ enreetiⲛ̀ⲣⲏϯ nemⲛⲉⲙ hanjerjerϩⲁⲛϫⲉⲣϫⲉⲣ nemⲛⲉⲙ hansofϩⲁⲛⲥⲱϥ nemⲛⲉⲙ hanthoϩⲁⲛⲑⲟ emvotiⲙ̀ⲃⲟϯ emmetshamsheⲙ̀ⲙⲉⲧϣⲁⲙϣⲉ itholon.ⲓ̀ⲇⲱⲗⲟⲛ.
For we have spent enough of our past lifetime in doing the will of the Gentiles—when we walked in lewdness, lusts, drunkenness, revelries, drinking parties, and abominable idolatries.
لأَنَّ زَمَانَ الْحَيَاةِ الَّذِي مَضَى يَكْفِينَا لِنَكُونَ قَدْ عَمِلْنَا إِرَادَةَ الأُمَمِ، سَالِكِينَ فِي الدَّعَارَةِ وَالشَّهَوَاتِ، وَإِدْمَانِ الْخَمْرِ، وَالْبَطَرِ، وَالْمُنَادَمَاتِ،
EteⲈ̀ⲧⲉ feeⲫⲏ peⲡⲉ etowoiⲉⲧⲟⲩⲟⲓ enshemmoⲛ̀ϣⲉⲙⲙⲟ enkheetfⲛ̀ϧⲏⲧϥ entetenchojiⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛϭⲟϫⲓ nemoouⲛⲉⲙⲱⲟⲩ anⲁⲛ ekhounⲉ̀ϧⲟⲩⲛ epifonⲉ̀ⲡⲓⲫⲱⲛ evolⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ roⲣⲱ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ timetatougaiϯⲙⲉⲧⲁⲧⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ evjeowa.ⲉⲩϫⲉⲟⲩⲁ̀.
In regard to these, they think it strange that you do not run with them in the same flood of dissipation, speaking evil of you.
وَعِبَادَةِ الأَوْثَانِ الْمُحَرَّمَةِ، الأَمْرُ الَّذِي فِيهِ يَسْتَغْرِبُونَ أَنَّكُمْ لَسْتُمْ تَرْكُضُونَ مَعَهُمْ إِلَى فَيْضِ هذِهِ الْخَلاَعَةِ عَيْنِهَا، مُجَدِّفِينَ.
Nnee-ethnatiloghosⲚⲛⲏⲉⲑⲛⲁϯⲗⲟⲅⲟⲥ emfee-etsevtotⲙ̀ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲥⲉⲃⲧⲱⲧ etihapⲉ̀ϯϩⲁⲡ enee-etonkhⲉ̀ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲟⲛϧ nemⲛⲉⲙ nee-ethmoout.ⲛⲏⲉⲑⲙⲱⲟⲩⲧ.
They will give an account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead.
الَّذِينَ سَوْفَ يُعْطُونَ حِسَابًا لِلَّذِي هُوَ عَلَى اسْتِعْدَادٍ أَنْ يَدِينَ الأَحْيَاءَ وَالأَمْوَاتَ.
EthveⲈⲑⲃⲉ faiⲫⲁⲓ gharⲅⲁⲣ avhishennoufiⲁⲩϩⲓϣⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩϥⲓ ennikerefmooutⲛ̀ⲛⲓⲕⲉⲣⲉϥⲙⲱⲟⲩⲧ hinaϩⲓⲛⲁ ensetihapⲛ̀ⲥⲉϯϩⲁⲡ menⲙⲉⲛ eroouⲉ̀ⲣⲱⲟⲩ kataⲕⲁⲧⲁ niromiⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ khenϧⲉⲛ etsarksⲧ̀ⲥⲁⲣⲝ entowonkhⲛ̀ⲧⲟⲩⲱⲛϧ theⲇⲉ kataⲕⲁⲧⲁ EfnotiⲪ̀ⲛⲟⲩϯ khenϧⲉⲛ Pi-epniema.Ⲡⲓⲡ̀ⲛⲩⲉⲙⲁ.
For this reason the gospel was preached also to those who are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.
فَإِنَّهُ لأَجْلِ هذَا بُشِّرَ الْمَوْتى أَيْضًا، لِكَيْ يُدَانُوا حَسَبَ النَّاسِ بِالْجَسَدِ، وَلكِنْ لِيَحْيَوْا حَسَبَ اللهِ بِالرُّوحِ.
EpgokⲠ̀ϫⲱⲕ theⲇⲉ enhobⲛ̀ϩⲱⲃ nivenⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ afkhontⲁϥϧⲱⲛⲧ jemkatiϫⲉⲙⲕⲁϯ ounⲟⲩⲛ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ roisⲣⲱⲓⲥ khenϧⲉⲛ ni-eprosevshee.ⲛⲓⲡ̀ⲣⲟⲥⲉⲩⲭⲏ.
But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers.
وَإِنَّمَا نِهَايَةُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِ اقْتَرَبَتْ، فَتَعَقَّلُوا وَاصْحُوا لِلصَّلَوَاتِ.
ShorpϢⲟⲣⲡ theⲇⲉ enhobⲛ̀ϩⲱⲃ nivenⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ mareⲙⲁⲣⲉ ti-aghapeeϯⲁ̀ⲅⲁⲡⲏ shopiϣⲱⲡⲓ esmeenⲉⲥⲙⲏⲛ khenϧⲉⲛ theenouⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ enetenereeⲉ̀ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣⲏ ouⲟⲩ jeϫⲉ ti-aghapeeϯⲁ̀ⲅⲁⲡⲏ shashovsϣⲁⲥϩⲱⲃⲥ evolⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ejenⲉ̀ϫⲉⲛ oumeeshⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ ennovi.ⲛ̀ⲛⲟⲃⲓ.
And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.”
وَلكِنْ قَبْلَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ، لِتَكُنْ مَحَبَّتُكُمْ بَعْضِكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ شَدِيدَةً، لأَنَّ الْمَحَبَّةَ تَسْتُرُ كَثْرَةً مِنَ الْخَطَايَا.
ShopiϢⲱⲡⲓ ereⲉ̀ⲣⲉ tenoiⲧⲉⲛⲟⲓ emmaishemmoⲙ̀ⲙⲁⲓϣⲉⲙⲙⲟ ekhounⲉ̀ϧⲟⲩⲛ enetenereeouⲉ̀ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣⲏⲟⲩ ereⲉ̀ⲣⲉ tenoiⲧⲉⲛⲟⲓ enatekhremrem.ⲛ̀ⲁⲧⲭ̀ⲣⲉⲙⲣⲉⲙ.
Be hospitable to one another without grumbling.
كُونُوا مُضِيفِينَ بَعْضُكُمْ بَعْضًا بِلاَ دَمْدَمَةٍ.

As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God.
لِيَكُنْ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ بِحَسَبِ مَا أَخَذَ مَوْهِبَةً، يَخْدِمُ بِهَا بَعْضُكُمْ بَعْضًا، كَوُكَلاَءَ صَالِحِينَ عَلَى نِعْمَةِ اللهِ الْمُتَنَوِّعَةِ.
Fee-ethnasajiⲪⲏⲉⲑⲛⲁⲥⲁϫⲓ hosϩⲱⲥ hansajiϩⲁⲛⲥⲁϫⲓ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ EfnotiⲪ̀ⲛⲟⲩϯ fee-ethnashemshiⲫⲏⲉⲑⲛⲁϣⲉⲙϣⲓ hosϩⲱⲥ evolⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ khenϧⲉⲛ ougomⲟⲩϫⲟⲙ theeⲑⲏ eteⲉ̀ⲧⲉ Efnoti.Ⲫ̀ⲛⲟⲩϯ.
If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies,
إِنْ كَانَ يَتَكَلَّمُ أَحَدٌ فَكَأَقْوَالِ اللهِ.

that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.
وَإِنْ كَانَ يَخْدِمُ أَحَدٌ فَكَأَنَّهُ مِنْ قُوَّةٍ يَمْنَحُهَا اللهُ، لِكَيْ يَتَمَجَّدَ اللهُ فِي كُلِّ شَيْءٍ بِيَسُوعَ الْمَسِيحِ، الَّذِي لَهُ الْمَجْدُ وَالسُّلْطَانُ إِلَى أَبَدِ الآبِدِينَ. آمِينَ.
Na-esneeouⲚⲁⲥ̀ⲛⲏⲟⲩ empermenreⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲣⲙⲉⲛⲣⲉ pikosmosⲡⲓⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ outheⲟⲩⲇⲉ nee-etshopⲛⲏⲉⲧϣⲟⲡ khenϧⲉⲛ pikosmos:ⲡⲓⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ:
Do not love the world nor the things in the world.
لا تحبوا العالم ولا الأشياء التي في العالم.
pikosmosⲡⲓⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ nasiniⲛⲁⲥⲓⲛⲓ nemⲛⲉⲙ tefepithimia:ⲧⲉϥⲉ̀ⲡⲓⲑⲩⲙⲓⲁ:
The world passes away, and its desires;
العالم يمضي وشهواته،
feeⲫⲏ theⲇⲉ etiriⲉⲧⲓ̀ⲣⲓ emefowoshⲙ̀ⲫ̀ⲟⲩⲱϣ emefnotiⲙ̀Ⲫ̀ⲛⲟⲩϯ efnashopiϥ̀ⲛⲁϣⲱⲡⲓ shaϣⲁ eneh:ⲉ̀ⲛⲉϩ:
but he who does the will of God abides forever.
وأما الذي يصنع إرادة الله يدوم إلى الأبد.
