A name of pride is your name,
إسم فخر هو إسمك،
oⲱ̀ pisingeneesⲡⲓⲥⲩⲅⲅⲉⲛⲏⲥ enemmanoweel:ⲛ̀Ⲉⲙⲙⲁⲛⲟⲩⲏⲗ:
O kinsman of Emmanuel,
يا نسيب عمانوئيل،
enthokⲛ̀ⲑⲟⲕ ounishtiⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ khenϧⲉⲛ nee-ethowabⲛⲏⲉⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ teerou:ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ:
for you are great among all the saints,
أنت عظيم في جميع القديسين،
YoanneesⲒⲱⲁⲛⲛⲏⲥ pireftioms.ⲡⲓⲣⲉϥϯⲱⲙⲥ.

أنت مرتفع أكثر من رؤساء الآباء،
ektaieeoutⲕ̀ⲧⲁⲓⲏⲟⲩⲧ eni-eprofeetees:ⲉ̀ⲛⲓⲡ̀ⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲏⲥ:
more honored than the prophets,
ومكرم أكثر من الأنبياء،
jeϫⲉ empeowonⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛ tonfⲧⲱⲛϥ khenϧⲉⲛ nijinmisi:ⲛⲓϫⲓⲛⲙⲓⲥⲓ:
for no one born of women,
لأنه لم يقم في مواليد النساء،
enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ nihiomiⲛⲓϩⲓⲟⲙⲓ efoniⲉϥⲟ̀ⲛⲓ emmok.ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲕ.
is like you.
مَنْ يشبهك.

Come and hear the wise,
تعالوا إسمعوا الحكيم،

وبأي نوع أكرمك،

what can I liken you to,
وبأي شبه أشبهك،
oⲱ̀ fee-ete-emepshaⲫⲏⲉ̀ⲧⲉⲙ̀ⲡ̀ϣⲁ entaioⲛ̀ⲧⲁⲓⲟ niven.ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ.
O who is worthy of every honor.
يا مستحق كل كرامة.

You are the sweetness of the fruits,
أنتَ هو طيبة الأثمار،
enthokⲛ̀ⲑⲟⲕ peⲡⲉ epkimⲡ̀ⲕⲓⲙ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ni-eklathos:ⲛⲓⲕ̀ⲗⲁⲇⲟⲥ:
you are he who moves branches,
أنتَ هو مُحرِّك الأغصان،
enthokⲛ̀ⲑⲟⲕ peⲡⲉ pifiriⲡⲓⲫⲓⲣⲓ evolⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ni-eshsheen:ⲛⲓϣ̀ϣⲏⲛ:
you are the flower of the trees,
أنت هو الزاهر من الأشجار،
etreetⲉⲧⲣⲏⲧ khenϧⲉⲛ epkahiⲡ̀ⲕⲁϩⲓ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ pi-ekhrinon.ⲡⲓⲭ̀ⲣⲓⲛⲟⲛ.
that are planted in the land of lilies."
النابتة في أرض السوسن."
