During the weekdays of Great Lent, the priest closes the Sanctuary curtain, the lights are shut and the prophecies of the day are read. Then the priest opens the curtain, the lights are put on and the following supplications are prayed:

في أيام الأسبوع في الصوم الكبير، يغلق الكاهن ستار الهيكل وتطفئ الأنوار وتقرأ النبوات. ثم يفتح الستار وتوقد الأنوار وتصلى الطلبات الآتية:
