Ⲁⲥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲇⲉ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲉ̀ϩⲟⲟⲩطرح للإسبوع الأولAsshopiⲀⲥϣⲱⲡⲓ theⲇⲉ khenϧⲉⲛ ni-eho-ouⲛⲓⲉ̀ϩⲟⲟ̀ⲩ EerodeesⲎ̀ⲣⲱⲇⲏⲥ epouroⲡ̀ⲟⲩⲣⲟ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ti-ioudaϯⲒⲟⲩⲇⲁ neⲛⲉ o-onⲟⲩⲟ̀ⲛ o-o-eebⲟⲩⲟ̀ⲩⲏⲃ theⲇⲉ epefranⲉ̀ⲡⲉϥⲣⲁⲛ peⲡⲉ Zakharias.Ⲍⲁⲭⲁⲣⲓⲁⲥ.
There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judea, a certain priest named Zacharias of the division of Abijah.
كان في أيام هيرودس ملك اليهود كاهن اسمه زكريا،
EouⲈ̀ⲟⲩ evolkhenⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗϧⲉⲛ ni-eho-ouⲛⲓⲉ̀ϩⲟⲟ̀ⲩ enshemshiⲛ̀ϣⲉⲙϣⲓ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ AviaⲀⲃⲓⲁ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ tefeshimiⲧⲉϥⲥ̀ϩⲓⲙⲓ neⲛⲉ ouⲟⲩ evolⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ teⲧⲉ khenϧⲉⲛ nisheriⲛⲓϣⲉⲣⲓ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ A-aronⲀ̀ⲁⲣⲱⲛ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ epesranⲉ̀ⲡⲉⲥⲣⲁⲛ peⲡⲉ Elisabet.Ⲉ̀ⲗⲓⲥⲁⲃⲉⲧ.
His wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth.
من خدمة أبيا وامرأته من بنات هرون واسمها أليصابات.
NeⲚⲉ hanethmeeϩⲁⲛⲑ̀ⲙⲏⲓ theⲇⲉ empesnavⲙ̀ⲡⲥ̀ⲛⲁⲩ (esnav)(ⲃ̅) neⲛⲉ empe-emthoⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲙ̀ⲑⲟ emefnotiⲙ̀Ⲫϯ evmoshiⲉⲩⲙⲟϣⲓ khenϧⲉⲛ ni-entoleeⲛⲓⲉ̀ⲛⲧⲟⲗⲏ teerouⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ nemⲛⲉⲙ nimethmeeⲛⲓⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ EpshoisⲠⲟ̅ⲥ̅ evoiⲉⲩⲟⲓ enatariki.ⲛ̀ⲁ̀ⲧⲁⲣⲓⲕⲓ.
And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.
وكان الاثنان باران أمام الله سالكين في جميع وصايا الرب وأحكامه بلا لوم.
O-wohⲞⲩⲟϩ neⲛⲉ emmontouⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲛⲧⲟⲩ sheeriϣⲏⲣⲓ emmavⲙ̀ⲙⲁⲩ peⲡⲉ jeϫⲉ o-eeineⲟⲩⲏ̀ⲓⲛⲉ o-atchreenⲟⲩⲁ̀ⲧϭⲣⲏⲛ enjeⲛ̀ϫⲉ ElisabetⲈ̀ⲗⲓⲥⲁⲃⲉⲧ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ neⲛⲉ avaiaiⲁⲩⲁⲓⲁⲓ empesnavⲙ̀ⲡⲥ̀ⲛⲁⲩ (esnav)(ⲃ̅) peⲡⲉ khenϧⲉⲛ enoweho-ou.ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲉ̀ϩⲟⲟ̀ⲩ.
But they had no child, because Elizabeth was barren, and they were both well advanced in years.
ولم يكن لهما ولد إذ كانت أليصابات عاقر وكانا كلاهما متقدمين في أيامها.

So it was, that while he was serving as priest before God in the order of his division,
فحدث بينما يكهن في نوبة فرقته أمام الله حسب عادة
KataⲔⲁⲧⲁ tikahsϯⲕⲁϩⲥ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ timetoweebϯⲙⲉⲧⲟ̀ⲩⲏⲃ apiopⲁⲡⲓⲱⲡ iⲓ erofⲉ̀ⲣⲟϥ e-enⲉ̀ⲉ̀ⲛ estoinoufiⲥ̀ⲑⲟⲓⲛⲟⲩϥⲓ e-epshoiⲉ̀ⲡ̀ϣⲱⲓ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ afⲁϥ shenafϣⲉⲛⲁϥ ekhounⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ epi-erfeiⲉ̀ⲡⲓⲉ̀ⲣⲫⲉⲓ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ Epshois.Ⲡⲟ̅ⲥ̅.
according to the custom of the priesthood, his lot fell to burn incense when he went into the temple of the Lord.
الكهنوت إصابته القرعة إن يرفع بخورا فدخل إلى هيكل الرب.
O-wohⲞⲩⲟϩ nareⲛⲁⲣⲉ pimeeshⲡⲓⲙⲏϣ teerfⲧⲏⲣϥ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ pilaosⲡⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ navtovhⲛⲁⲩⲧⲱⲃϩ savolⲥⲁⲃⲟⲗ emefnavⲙ̀ⲫ̀ⲛⲁⲩ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ pi-estoinoufi.ⲡⲓⲥ̀ⲑⲟⲓⲛⲟⲩϥⲓ.
And the whole multitude of the people was praying outside at the hour of incense.
وكان كل جمهور الشعب يصلون خارجا وقت البخور.
AfowonhfⲀϥⲟ̀ⲩⲟ̀ⲛϩϥ theⲇⲉ erofⲉ̀ⲣⲟϥ enjeⲛ̀ϫⲉ o-angelosⲟⲩⲁ̀ⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ EpshoisⲠⲟ̅ⲥ̅ efohiⲉϥⲟ̀ϩⲓ eratfⲉ̀ⲣⲁⲧϥ saⲥⲁ o-inamⲟⲩⲓ̀ⲛⲁⲙ empimanersho-oushiⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲙⲁⲛⲉ̀ⲣϣⲱⲟ̀ⲩϣⲓ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ pi-estoinoufi.ⲡⲓⲥ̀ⲑⲟⲓⲛⲟⲩϥⲓ.
Then an angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing on the right side of the altar of incense.
فظهر له ملاك الرب واقفا عن يمين مذبح البخور.
O-wohⲞⲩⲟϩ etafnavⲉ̀ⲧⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ erofⲉ̀ⲣⲟϥ enjeⲛ̀ϫⲉ ZakhariasⲌⲁⲭⲁⲣⲓⲁⲥ afshtorterⲁϥϣⲑⲟⲣⲧⲉⲣ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ ouhotiⲟⲩϩⲟϯ asiⲁⲥⲓ̀ ehreeⲉ̀ϩⲣⲏⲓ egof.ⲉ̀ϫⲱϥ.
And when Zacharias saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him.
فلما رآه زكريا اضطرب ووقع عليه خوف.

But the angel said to him, "Do not be afraid, Zacharias, for your prayer is heard; and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John.
فقال له الملاك لا تخف يا زكريا لان طلبتك قد سمعت وامرأتك لأليصابات ستحبل وستلد لك ابناً وتسميه يوحنا،
O-wohⲞⲩⲟϩ ereⲉ̀ⲣⲉ ourashiⲟ̀ⲩⲣⲁϣⲓ shopiϣⲱⲡⲓ nakⲛⲁⲕ nemⲛⲉⲙ outheleelⲟ̀ⲩⲑⲉⲗⲏⲗ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ ereⲉ̀ⲣⲉ oumeeshⲟ̀ⲩⲙⲏϣ rashiⲣⲁϣⲓ ejenⲉ̀ϫⲉⲛ pefjinmisi.ⲡⲉϥϫⲓⲛⲙⲓⲥⲓ.
And you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth.
لأنه سيكون عظيما أمام الرب وسيكون لك فرح وابتهاج وكثيرون سيفرحون بولادته.
EfnashopiϤ̀ⲛⲁϣⲱⲡⲓ gharⲅⲁⲣ efoiⲉϥⲟⲓ ennishtiⲛ̀ⲛⲓϣϯ empe-emthoⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲙ̀ⲑⲟ emepshoisⲙ̀Ⲡⲟ̅ⲥ̅ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ o-eerpⲟⲩⲏ̀ⲣⲡ nemⲛⲉⲙ ousikiraⲟⲩⲥⲓⲕⲩⲣⲁ ennefso-ouⲛ̀ⲛⲉϥⲥⲱⲟ̀ⲩ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ efnamohϥ̀ⲛⲁⲙⲟϩ evolkhenⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗϧⲉⲛ ou-epnevmaⲟⲩⲠ̀ⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁ efowabⲉϥⲟⲩⲁⲃ isjenⲓⲥϫⲉⲛ efkhenethnejiⲉϥϧⲉⲛⲑ̀ⲛⲉϫⲓ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ tefmav.ⲧⲉϥⲙⲁⲩ.
For he will be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink. He will also be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother's womb.
لأنه سيكون عظيما أمام الرب. وخمرا مسكر ا لا يشرب. وهو في بطن أمه سيمتلىء من الروح القدس.
O-wohⲞⲩⲟϩ efnathreⲉϥⲛⲁⲑⲣⲉ oumeeshⲟ̀ⲩⲙⲏϣ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ nensheeriⲛⲉⲛϣⲏⲣⲓ empisra-eelⲙ̀ⲡⲒⲥⲣⲁⲏ̀ⲗ kotouⲕⲟⲧⲟⲩ e-epshoisⲉ̀Ⲡⲟ̅ⲥ̅ pounoti.ⲡⲟⲩⲚⲟⲩϯ.
And he will turn many of the children of Israel to the Lord their God.
ويرد كثيرين من بنى إسرائيل إلى الرب إلههم.
O-wohⲞⲩⲟϩ enthofⲛ̀ⲑⲟϥ efna-ershorpϥ̀ⲛⲁⲉ̀ⲣϣⲟⲣⲡ enikhagofⲛ̀ⲓ̀ϧⲁϫⲱϥ empefemthoⲙ̀ⲡⲉϥⲙ̀ⲑⲟ khenϧⲉⲛ ou-epnevmaⲟⲩⲡ̅ⲛ̅ⲁ̅ nemⲛⲉⲙ ougomⲟⲩϫⲟⲙ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ EelisaⲎ̀ⲗⲓⲥⲁ eketⲉⲕⲉ̀ⲧ epheetⲡ̀ϩⲏⲧ enhaniotiⲛ̀ϩⲁⲛⲓⲟϯ enousheeriⲉ̀ⲛⲟⲩϣⲏⲣⲓ nemⲛⲉⲙ nee-etoiⲛⲏⲉ̀ⲧⲟⲓ enatthotⲛ̀ⲁ̀ⲧⲑⲱⲧ enheetⲛ̀ϩⲏⲧ khenϧⲉⲛ efmeviⲫ̀ⲙⲉⲩⲓ̀ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ nithmeeⲛⲓⲑⲙⲏⲓ esevteⲉ̀ⲥⲉⲃⲧⲉ oulaosⲟⲩⲗⲁⲟⲥ e-epshoisⲉ̀Ⲡⲟ̅ⲥ̅ eavethmaiof.ⲉⲁⲩⲑ̀ⲙⲁⲓⲟϥ.
He will also go before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, 'to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children,' and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just,
ويتقدم أمامه بروح إيليا وقوته ليرد قلوب الآباء إلى أبنائهم العصاه إلى فكر الأبرار لكي يهيئ للرب شعبا مبررا.
O-wohⲞⲩⲟϩ pejeⲡⲉϫⲉ ZakhariasⲌⲁⲭⲁⲣⲓⲁⲥ empi-angelosⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲁ̀ⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ jeϫⲉ enekhreeⲛ̀ϧ̀ⲣⲏⲓ khenϧⲉⲛ ouⲟ̀ⲩ tina-emiϯⲛⲁⲉ̀ⲙⲓ efai:ⲉ̀ⲫⲁⲓ:
to make ready a people prepared for the Lord." And Zacharias said to the angel, "How shall I know this?
فقال زكريا للملاك بماذا أعلم هذا لأني أنا شيخ
anokⲁ̀ⲛⲟⲕ gharⲅⲁⲣ anokⲁⲛⲟⲕ oukhelloⲟⲩϧⲉⲗⲗⲟ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ ta-eshimiⲧⲁⲥ̀ϩⲓⲙⲓ asaiaiⲁⲥⲁⲓⲁⲓ khenϧⲉⲛ neseho-ou.ⲛⲉⲥⲉ̀ϩⲟⲟ̀ⲩ.
For I am an old man, and my wife is well advanced in years."
وامرأتي طعنت في أيامها.
O-wohⲞⲩⲟϩ aferowoⲁϥⲉ̀ⲣⲟⲩⲱ̀ enjeⲛ̀ϫⲉ pi-angelosⲡⲓⲁ̀ⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ pegafⲡⲉϫⲁϥ nafⲛⲁϥ jeϫⲉ anokⲁⲛⲟⲕ peⲡⲉ GhabrieelⲄⲁⲃⲣⲓⲏⲗ fee-etohiⲫⲏⲉ̀ⲧⲟϩⲓ eratfⲉ̀ⲣⲁⲧϥ empe-emthoⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲙ̀ⲑⲟ emefnotiⲙ̀Ⲫϯ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ avta-owoiⲁⲩⲧⲁⲟ̀ⲩⲟⲓ esajiⲉ̀ⲥⲁϫⲓ nemakⲛⲉⲙⲁⲕ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ ehishennoufiⲉ̀ϩⲓϣⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩϥⲓ nakⲛⲁⲕ ennai.ⲛ̀ⲛⲁⲓ.
And the angel answered and said to him, "I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God,
فأجاب الملاك وقال له أنا جبرائيل الواقف أمام الله وأرسلت لأكلمك وأبشرك بهذا.
O-wohⲞⲩⲟϩ heeppeϩⲏⲡⲡⲉ ekeshopiⲉⲕⲉϣⲱⲡⲓ ekkho-enrokⲉⲕⲭⲱⲛ̀ⲣⲱⲕ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ emmonⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲛ eshgomϣ̀ϫⲟⲙ emmokⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲕ esajiⲉ̀ⲥⲁϫⲓ shaϣⲁ pi-eho-ouⲡⲓⲉ̀ϩⲟⲟ̀ⲩ eteⲉ̀ⲧⲉ naiⲛⲁⲓ nashopiⲛⲁϣⲱⲡⲓ emmof:ⲙ̀ⲙⲟϥ:
and was sent to speak to you and bring you these glad tidings.
وها أنت ستكون صامتا ولا تقدر أن تتكلم إلى اليوم الذي يكون
e-efmaⲉ̀ⲫ̀ⲙⲁ jeϫⲉ empeknahtiⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲕⲛⲁϩϯ enasaji:ⲉⲛⲁⲥⲁϫⲓ:
But behold, you will be mute and not able to speak until the day these things take place,
فيه هذا لأنك لم تؤمن بكلامي
naiⲛⲁⲓ ethnagokⲉⲑⲛⲁϫⲱⲕ evolⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ khenϧⲉⲛ pouseeou.ⲡⲟⲩⲥⲏⲟⲩ.
because you did not believe my words which will be fulfilled in their own time."
هذا الذي سيتم في حينه.
O-wohⲞⲩⲟϩ nareⲛⲁⲣⲉ pilaosⲡⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ teerfⲧⲏⲣϥ goushtϫⲟⲩϣⲧ evolⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ khagofϧⲁϫⲱϥ enzakhariasⲛ̀Ⲍⲁⲭⲁⲣⲓⲁⲥ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ navereshfeeriⲛⲁⲩⲉ̀ⲣϣ̀ⲫⲏⲣⲓ peⲡⲉ ethveⲉⲑⲃⲉ jeϫⲉ nafoskⲛⲁϥⲱⲥⲕ ekhounⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ khenϧⲉⲛ pierfei.ⲡⲓⲉⲣⲫⲉⲓ.
And the people waited for Zacharias, and marveled that he lingered so long in the temple.
وكان جميع الشعب منتظر يؤن زكريا ومتعجبين من إبطائه في الهيكل.
EtafiⲈ̀ⲧⲁϥⲓ̀ theⲇⲉ evolⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ nafeshjemgomⲛⲁϥϣ̀ϫⲉⲙϫⲟⲙ ensajiⲛ̀ⲥⲁϫⲓ nemo-ouⲛⲉⲙⲱⲟ̀ⲩ anⲁⲛ peⲡⲉ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ navemiⲛⲁⲩⲉ̀ⲙⲓ jeϫⲉ o-onhⲟⲩⲱ̀ⲛϩ peⲡⲉ etafnavⲉ̀ⲧⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ erofⲉ̀ⲣⲟϥ ekhounⲉ̀ϧⲟⲩⲛ khenϧⲉⲛ pi-erfei:ⲡⲓⲉ̀ⲣⲫⲉⲓ:
But when he came out, he could not speak to them; and they perceived that he had seen a vision in the temple,
فلما خرج لم يقدر أن يكلمهم فعلموا انه قد رأى رؤيا في الهيكل.
o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ enthofⲛ̀ⲑⲟϥ nafchoremⲛⲁϥϭⲱⲣⲉⲙ ero-ouⲉ̀ⲣⲱⲟ̀ⲩ peⲡⲉ entefjigⲛ̀ⲧⲉϥϫⲓϫ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ afohiⲁϥⲟϩⲓ efoiⲉϥⲟⲓ enevo.ⲛ̀ⲉ̀ⲃⲟ.
for he beckoned to them and remained speechless.
فكان يشير إليهم بيده وبقى صامتا.
O-wohⲞⲩⲟϩ asshopiⲁⲥϣⲱⲡⲓ etavmohⲉⲧⲁⲩⲙⲟϩ evolⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ enjeⲛ̀ϫⲉ nefeho-ouⲛⲉϥⲉ̀ϩⲟⲟ̀ⲩ enshemshiⲛ̀ϣⲉⲙϣⲓ afshenafⲁϥϣⲉⲛⲁϥ epefee.ⲉ̀ⲡⲉϥⲏⲓ.
And so it was, as soon as the days of his service were completed, that he departed to his own house.
ولما كملت أيام خدمته مضى إلى بيته.
MenensaⲘⲉⲛⲉⲛⲥⲁ nai-eho-ouⲛⲁⲓⲉ̀ϩⲟⲟ̀ⲩ theⲇⲉ ete-emmavⲉ̀ⲧⲉⲙ̀ⲙⲁⲩ aservokiⲁⲥⲉ̀ⲣⲃⲟⲕⲓ enjeⲛ̀ϫⲉ ElisabetⲈ̀ⲗⲓⲥⲁⲃⲉⲧ tefeshimi:ⲧⲉϥⲥ̀ϩⲓⲙⲓ:
Now after those days his wife Elizabeth conceived;
وبعد تلك الأيام حبلت أليصابات امرأته وأخفت حبلها خمسة أشهر قائلة.
o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ nashopⲛⲁⲥϩⲱⲡ emmosⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ peⲡⲉ eneⲛ̀ⲉ enavotⲛ̀ⲁ̀ⲃⲟⲧ esgoⲉⲥϫⲱ emmos.ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ.
and she hid herself five months, saying,
هكذا قد فعل بي الرب في الأيام التي فيها نظر إلى لينزع عاري من بين الناس.
