Fasting and prayer,
الصوم والصلاة،
entho-ouⲛ̀ⲑⲱⲟ̀ⲩ peⲡⲉ epsotiⲡ̀ⲥⲱϯ ennenepsishee:ⲛ̀ⲛⲉⲛⲯ̀ⲩⲭⲏ:
are the salvation for our souls,
هما خلاص نفوسنا،
pitouvoⲡⲓⲧⲟⲩⲃⲟ nemⲛⲉⲙ timethmee:ϯⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ:
purity and righteousness,
والطهارة والبر،
entho-ouⲛ̀ⲑⲱⲟ̀ⲩ peⲡⲉ shavranafϣⲁⲩⲣⲁⲛⲁϥ emefnoti.ⲙ̀Ⲫ̀ϯ.
they are what please God.
هما اللذان يرضيان الله.

up to the mountain,
موسى على الجبل،

حتى أخذ لنا الناموس،

from the Lord our God.
من قبل الرب الإله.

up to heaven,
إيليا إلى السماء،

and has saved Daniel,
وخلص دانيال،

from the den of lions.
من جُب الأسود.

صام عنا،

أربعين يوماً وأربعين ليلة،

to save us from our sins.
حتى خلصنا من خطايانا.

صارخين قائلين.

may Your kingdom come,
ليأت ملكوتك،
