نجمُكَ ظھرَ للمجوسِ،

O king who is prior to time.
أیُّھا الملكُ الذى قبلَ الدھورِ،
oⲱ nifileeⲛⲓⲫⲩⲗⲏ teerouⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ emepkahi:ⲙ̀ⲡ̀ⲕⲁϩⲓ:
O you tribes of the earth,
یا كلَّ قبائلِ الأرضِ،
amoiniⲁⲙⲱⲓⲛⲓ teerenⲧⲏⲣⲉⲛ entenowosht:ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲱϣⲧ:
gather together to worship him;
تعالوا نسجد لمن
emfee-etavmasfⲙ̀ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲁⲩⲙⲁⲥϥ hijenϩⲓϫⲉⲛ pikahi.ⲡⲓⲕⲁϩⲓ.
he who was born upon the earth.
وُلدَ على الأرضِ.

The magi saw the wonder:

The magi gave gifts to Him,

praising God who was born:

المجوسُ رأوا لأعجوبةَ،

Life [himself] emerged and came forth.
والحیاةُ أشرقتْآتْ،
nimaghosⲛⲓⲙⲁⲅⲟⲥ avenⲁⲩⲉⲛ thoronⲇⲱⲣⲟⲛ naf:ⲛⲁϥ:
They offered their gifts to Him,
المجوسُ قدمُوا له ھدایا مُسبحینَ للهَ الذي
evhosⲉⲩϩⲱⲥ e-efnotiⲉ̀Ⲫ̀ⲛⲟⲩϯ fee-etavegfof:ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲁⲩϫ̀ⲫⲟϥ:
praising God who was born, saying,
وُلدَ (قائلینَ) المجدُ لك
jeϫⲉ epoouⲡ̀ⲱⲟⲩ nakⲛⲁⲕ pethowab.ⲡⲉⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ.
“Glory be to you, O holy one.”
أًّیھا القدوسُ.

Behold the virgin giving birth

اللهُ الكَلمةُ أشرق لَنا،

the birth of Emmanuel.
عظیمٌ ھو سرُ میلادِ عمانوئیلَ.

This miracle is wonderful.
عجیبةٌ ھى المعجزةُ ،

He chose to dwell within her.
قا ارادَ أن یسكنَ فیھا،
oⲱ nifileeⲛⲓⲫⲩⲗⲏ teerouⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ emepkahi:ⲙ̀ⲡ̀ⲕⲁϩⲓ:
O all you tribes of the earth,
یا كلَّ قبائلِ الأرضِ،
marenⲙⲁⲣⲉⲛ ermakarizinⲉⲣⲙⲁⲕⲁⲣⲓⲍⲓⲛ emmof.ⲙ̀ⲙⲟϥ.
let us bless this holy place.

العصا التى فى ید ھارونَ قدصارت مع للهِ،

with God and befriended him.
وفروعھا أنیعت
aⲁ nefklathosⲛⲉϥⲕⲗⲁⲇⲟⲥ firiⲫⲓⲣⲓ aftiowo:ⲁϥϯⲟⲩⲱ:
Her branches sprouted and blossomed by means
وازھرت،
hitenϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ nimaghosⲛⲓⲙⲁⲅⲟⲥ nemⲛⲉⲙ nihebreos:ⲛⲓϩⲉⲃⲣⲉⲟⲥ:
of the magi and the Hebrews.
من قبل المجوس و العبرانیین،

Draw near to bow down to him.
تعالوا لنس د له.

singing and chanting with the magi,
فامتلأنا كلنا فرحاً،

"O faithless [ones],
نرتل مع املجوس،
jeϫⲉ oⲱ niathnahtiⲛⲓⲁⲑⲛⲁϩϯ marennahti:ⲙⲁⲣⲉⲛⲛⲁϩϯ:
let us believe in the coming
(قائلینَ) یا غیرالمؤمنین
ethveⲉⲑⲃⲉ epjiniⲡ̀ϫⲓⲛⲓ empi-ekhristos.ⲙ̀Ⲡⲓⲭ̀ⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ.
of [the Lord] Christ."
