On the eve of the Sabbath,
في عشية السبوت،
afshopiⲁϥϣⲱⲡⲓ enjeⲛ̀ϫⲉ ourimi:ⲟⲩⲣⲓⲙⲓ:
the women could only weep
كان عند النسوة البكاء
ounehpiⲟⲩⲛⲉϩⲡⲓ nemⲛⲉⲙ outoit:ⲟⲩⲧⲱⲓⲧ:
and mourn
والنوح
khatenϧⲁⲧⲉⲛ nihiomi.ⲛⲓϩⲓⲟⲙⲓ.
and lament.
والعويل،
EnshorpⲚ̀ϣⲱⲣⲡ emefowai:ⲙ̀ⲫ̀ⲟⲩⲁⲓ:
And at the dawn
وفي باكر أحد
enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ nisabbaton:ⲛⲓⲥⲁⲃⲃⲁⲧⲟⲛ:
of Sunday,
السبوت تأخر
aⲁ̀ pirimiⲡⲓⲣⲓⲙⲓ osk:ⲱⲥⲕ:
the weeping was postponed
البكاء
afkeenⲁϥⲕⲏⲛ enjeⲛ̀ϫⲉ pinehpi.ⲡⲓⲛⲉϩⲡⲓ.
and the mourning has ceased.
وسكن النحيب.
