لأن داود المرتل،
o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ epouroⲡ̀ⲟⲩⲣⲟ empisraeel:ⲙ̀Ⲡⲓⲥⲣⲁⲏⲗ:
the king of Israel,
وملك إسرائيل،
afgoⲁϥϫⲱ emeptaioⲙ̀ⲡ̀ⲧⲁⲓⲟ empainishtiⲙ̀ⲡⲁⲓⲛⲓϣϯ enshai:ⲛ̀ϣⲁⲓ:
Spoke of the honor of this great feast,
نطق بكرامة هذا العيد العظيم،
empaireetiⲙ̀ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ efgoⲉϥϫⲱ emmos.ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ.
in this manner saying.
هكذا قائلاً.
++ JeϪⲉ evolⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ khenϧⲉⲛ roouⲣⲱⲟⲩ enhankouji:ⲛ̀ϩⲁⲛⲕⲟⲩϫⲓ:
+ “Out of the mouths of babes,
+ "من أفواه الأطفال،
enaloouiⲛ̀ⲁ̀ⲗⲱⲟⲩⲓ̀ nemⲛⲉⲙ nee-ethowemchi:ⲛⲏⲉⲑⲟⲩⲉⲙϭⲓ:
and nursing infants,
الصغار والرضعان،
enthokⲛ̀ⲑⲟⲕ aksevteⲁⲕⲥⲉⲃⲧⲉ pi-esmou:ⲡⲓⲥ̀ⲙⲟⲩ:
You have perfected praise,
أنت أعددت سُبْحاً،
kataⲕⲁⲧⲁ petehnakⲡⲉⲧⲉϩⲛⲁⲕ Epshois.Ⲡ̀ϭⲟⲓⲥ.
according to Your will O Lord.”
كإرادتك يا رب."

"لا تخافي يا إبنة صهيون،

behold your King is coming,
هوذا ملككِ يأتيكِ،

riding on a colt.”
راكباً على جحش."

+ Oh what this great humility,
+ يا لهذا التواضع العظيم،

الذي صنعه مخلصنا،

when He entered Jerusalem,

riding on a donkey.
راكباً على آتان.

For today these prophecies,
اليوم كَمَلَت،
enjeⲛ̀ϫⲉ nai-eprofeetia:ⲛⲁⲓⲡ̀ⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲓⲁ:
have been completed,
هذه النبوات،
hanowonϩⲁⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛ avchiⲁⲩϭⲓ enhanvai:ⲛ̀ϩⲁⲛⲃⲁⲓ:
some took palm branches,
البعض أخذوا سعوف النخل،
nemⲛⲉⲙ haneklathosϩⲁⲛⲕ̀ⲗⲁⲇⲟⲥ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ hangoit.ϩⲁⲛϫⲱⲓⲧ.
and branches of olives.
وأغصان الزيتون.
++ HankekoouniϨⲁⲛⲕⲉⲭⲱⲟⲩⲛⲓ avforshⲁⲩⲫⲱⲣϣ ennou-ehvos:ⲛ̀ⲛⲟⲩϩ̀ⲃⲱⲥ:
+ Others spread their garments,
+ وآخرون فرشوا ثيابهم،
hiϩⲓ pimoitⲡⲓⲙⲱⲓⲧ empefemtho:ⲙ̀ⲡⲉϥⲙ̀ⲑⲟ:
upon the road before Him,
في الطريق أمامه،
ni-aloouiⲛⲓⲁ̀ⲗⲱⲟⲩⲓ̀ avoshⲁⲩⲱϣ evol:ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ:
the children proclaimed saying,
والأطفال صرخوا قائلين،
jeϫⲉ osannaⲱ̀ⲥⲁⲛⲛⲁ EpsheeriⲠ̀ϣⲏⲣⲓ endavid.ⲛ̀Ⲇⲁⲩⲓⲇ.
“Hosanna to the Son of David.”
"أوصنا لإبن داود."
OsannaⲰ̀ⲥⲁⲛⲛⲁ khenϧⲉⲛ nee-etchosi:ⲛⲏⲉⲧϭⲟⲥⲓ:
Hosanna in the highest,
أوصنا في الأعالي،
faiⲫⲁⲓ peⲡⲉ EpouroⲠ̀ⲟⲩⲣⲟ empisraeel:ⲙ̀Ⲡⲓⲥⲣⲁⲏⲗ:
this is the King of Israel,
هذا هو ملك إسرائيل،
efesmarooutϥ̀ⲥ̀ⲙⲁⲣⲱⲟⲩⲧ enjeⲛ̀ϫⲉ fee-ethneeou:ⲫⲏⲉⲑⲛⲏⲟⲩ:
blessed is He who comes in the name,
مبارك الآتي،
khenϧⲉⲛ efranⲫ̀ⲣⲁⲛ emepshoisⲙ̀Ⲡ̀ϭⲟⲓⲥ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ nigom.ⲛⲓϫⲟⲙ.
of the Lord of hosts.
بإسم رب القوات.
++ TenhosⲦⲉⲛϩⲱⲥ erofⲉ̀ⲣⲟϥ tenti-oouⲧⲉⲛϯⲱ̀ⲟⲩ naf:ⲛⲁϥ:
+ We praise and glorify Him,
+ نسبحه ونمجده،
tenerhowoⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣϩⲟⲩⲟ̀ chisiϭⲓⲥⲓ emmof:ⲙ̀ⲙⲟϥ:
and exalt Him above all,
ونزيده علواً،
hosϩⲱⲥ AghathosⲀ̀ⲅⲁⲑⲟⲥ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ emmairomi:ⲙ̀Ⲙⲁⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ:
as a Good One and Lover of Man,
كصالح ومحب البشر،
naiⲛⲁⲓ nanⲛⲁⲛ kataⲕⲁⲧⲁ peknishtiⲡⲉⲕⲛⲓϣϯ ennai.ⲛ̀ⲛⲁⲓ.
have mercy upon us according to Your great mercy.
إرحمنا كعظيم رحمتك.
