When He was born
يا الذي وُلد في بيت لحم،
kataⲕⲁⲧⲁ ni-esmeeⲛⲓⲥ̀ⲙⲏ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ni-eprofeetees:ⲛⲓⲡ̀ⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲏⲥ:
in Bethlehem / according to the voices of the prophets,
حسب أقوال الأنبياء،
aftougonⲁϥⲧⲟⲩϫⲟⲛ afsotiⲁϥⲥⲱϯ emmon:ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲛ:
/ He rescued and saved us /
أنقذنا وخلِّصنا،
jeϫⲉ anonⲁ̀ⲛⲟⲛ peⲡⲉ peflaos.ⲡⲉϥⲗⲁⲟⲥ.
for we are Your people.
لأننا نحن شعبك.

ها ملاك يقول،

ليوسف أن يسمع،
jeϫⲉ sotemⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ chiϭⲓ enieesousⲛ̀Ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ Pi-ekhristos:Ⲡⲓⲭ̀ⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ:
and take Jesus Christ,
ويمضي بيسوع المسيح،
mashenakⲙⲁϣⲉⲛⲁⲕ shaϣⲁ Keemi.Ⲭⲏⲙⲓ.
/ and depart to Egypt.”
إلى مصر.

O You who saved His people /
يا الذي خلَّص شعبه،
enshorpⲛ̀ϣⲱⲣⲡ evolⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ khenϧⲉⲛ epkahiⲡ̀ⲕⲁϩⲓ enkeemi:ⲛ̀Ⲭⲏⲙⲓ:
in the beginning in the land of Egypt,
مبتدئاً من أرض مصر،

/ save us O my Lord Jesus /

/ "Take the Child and His Mother /
"خذ الصبي وأمه،
o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ fotⲫⲱⲧ e-ekhreeⲉ̀ϧ̀ⲣⲏⲓ enkeemi.ⲛ̀Ⲭⲏⲙⲓ.
and flee to Egypt."
وأهرب إلى مصر."
