Shenouda the Third,
شنودة الثالث،
peⲡⲉ pi-ehlogⲡⲓϩ̀ⲗⲟϫ enran:ⲛ̀ⲣⲁⲛ:
the sweet name,
الإسم الحلو،
faⲫⲁ penpapaⲡⲉⲛⲡⲁⲡⲁ ettai-eeout:ⲉⲧⲧⲁⲓⲏ̀ⲟⲩⲧ:
of our honored father,
الذي لأبينا المكرم،
etafchimoitⲉ̀ⲧⲁϥϭⲓⲙⲱⲓⲧ nan.ⲛⲁⲛ.
who has led us.
الذي كان يرشدنا.

كان يعلم شعبه،

repentance and wisdom,
التوبة والحكمة،

and the fear of God,
ومخافة الله،

books you have written,
كم كتاباً كتبته،

and crowns you have won.
كم إكليلاً فزت به.

You have enlightened us,
ها قد أنرت لنا،

with your holy teachings,
بتعاليمك المقدسة،

and spiritual sayings that became,
وأقوالك الروحانية،

a holy treasure for us.
فصارت لنا كنزاً مقدساً.

+ لا أخطئ في شئ،

if I call you a prophet,
إذا ما دعوتك نبي،
