Very early in the morning,
وَبَاكِرًا جِدًّا
aviⲁⲩⲓ̀ epi-emhavⲉ̀ⲡⲓⲙ̀ϩⲁⲩ etaⲉ̀ⲧⲁ efreeⲫ̀ⲣⲏ shai.ϣⲁⲓ.
on the first day of the week,
فِي أوَّلِ الاُسْبُوعِ أتَيْنَ إِلَى الْقَبْرِ إِذْ طَلَعَتِ الشَّمْسُ.
O-wohⲞⲩⲟϩ navgoⲛⲁⲩϫⲱ emmosⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ ennowereeou:ⲛ̀ⲛⲟⲩⲉ̀ⲣⲏⲟⲩ:
they came to the tomb when the sun had risen.
وَكُنَّ يَقُلْنَ
jeϫⲉ nimⲛⲓⲙ ethna-eskerkerⲉⲑⲛⲁⲥ̀ⲕⲉⲣⲕⲉⲣ empi-oniⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲱ̀ⲛⲓ nanⲛⲁⲛ evolⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ hirofϩⲓⲣⲱϥ empi-emhav.ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲙ̀ϩⲁⲩ.
And they said among themselves,
فِيمَا بَيْنَهُنَّ:«مَنْ يُدَحْرِجُ لَنَا الْحَجَرَ عَنْ بَابِ الْقَبْرِ؟»
O-wohⲞⲩⲟϩ etavfaiⲉ̀ⲧⲁⲩϥⲁⲓ ennouvalⲛ̀ⲛⲟⲩⲃⲁⲗ e-epshoi:ⲉ̀ⲡ̀ϣⲱⲓ:
“Who will roll away the stone from the door
فَتَطَلَّعْنَ
avnavⲁⲩⲛⲁⲩ epi-oniⲉ̀ⲡⲓⲱ̀ⲛⲓ jeϫⲉ aveskerkorf:ⲁⲩⲥ̀ⲕⲉⲣⲕⲱⲣϥ:
of the tomb for us?” But when they looked up,
وَرَأيْنَ أنَّ الْحَجَرَ قَدْ دُحْرِجَ!
neⲛⲉ ounishtiⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ gharⲅⲁⲣ emashoⲉ̀ⲙⲁϣⲱ pe.ⲡⲉ.
they saw that the stone had been rolled away—for it was very large.
لأنَّهُ كَانَ عَظِيمًا جِدًّا.
O-wohⲞⲩⲟϩ etavshenoouⲉ̀ⲧⲁⲩϣⲉⲛⲱⲟⲩ ekhounⲉ̀ϧⲟⲩⲛ epi-emhav:ⲉ̀ⲡⲓⲙ̀ϩⲁⲩ:
And entering the tomb,
وَلَمَّا دَخَلْنَ الْقَبْرَ رَأيْنَ شَابًّا
avnavⲁⲩⲛⲁⲩ eoukhelshiriⲉ̀ⲟⲩϧⲉⲗϣⲓⲣⲓ efhemsiⲉϥϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ saouinam:ⲥⲁⲟⲩⲓ̀ⲛⲁⲙ:
they saw a young man clothed in a long white robe sitting on the right side;
جَالِسًا عَنِ الْيَمِينِ لاَبِسًا حُلَّةً بَيْضَاءَ،
efjeelⲉϥϫⲏⲗ enou-estoleeⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲥ̀ⲧⲟⲗⲏ esowovshⲉⲥⲟⲩⲱⲃϣ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ averhoti.ⲁⲩⲉⲣϩⲟϯ.
and they were alarmed.
فَانْدَهَشْنَ.
EnthofⲚ̀ⲑⲟϥ theⲇⲉ pegafⲡⲉϫⲁϥ noouⲛⲱⲟⲩ jeϫⲉ empererhoti:ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲣⲉⲣϩⲟϯ:
But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed.
فَقَالَ لَهُنَّ:«لاَ تَنْدَهِشْنَ!
IeesousⲒⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ peⲡⲉ etetenkotiⲉ̀ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲕⲱϯ ensofⲛ̀ⲥⲱϥ piremnazarethⲡⲓⲣⲉⲙⲚⲁⲍⲁⲣⲉⲑ fee-etavashf:ⲫⲏⲉ̀ⲧⲁⲩⲁϣϥ:
You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified.
أنْتُنَّ تَطْلُبْنَ يَسُوعَ النَّاصِرِيَّ الْمَصْلُوبَ.
aftonfⲁϥⲧⲱⲛϥ efhaϥ̀ϩⲁ emnaiⲙ̀ⲛⲁⲓ an:ⲁⲛ:
He is risen!
قَدْ قَامَ!
isⲓⲥ pimaⲡⲓⲙⲁ etafkafⲉ̀ⲧⲁϥⲭⲁϥ emmof.ⲙ̀ⲙⲟϥ.
He is not here.
لَيْسَ هُوَ ههُنَا.
AllaⲀⲗⲗⲁ mashenotenⲙⲁϣⲉⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ agosⲁ̀ϫⲟⲥ enefmatheeteesⲉ̀ⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ nemⲛⲉⲙ Petros:Ⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ:
See the place where they laid Him.
هُوَذَا الْمَوْضِعُ الَّذِي وَضَعُوهُ فِيهِ.
jeϫⲉ efnaershorpϥ̀ⲛⲁⲉⲣϣⲟⲣⲡ erotenⲉ̀ⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ etighalile-a:ⲉ̀Ϯⲅⲁⲗⲓⲗⲉⲁ̀:
But go,
لكِنِ اذْهَبْنَ وَقُلْنَ لِتَلاَمِيذِهِ وَلِبُطْرُسَ:
eretennanavⲉ̀ⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲛⲁⲩ erofⲉ̀ⲣⲟϥ emmav:ⲙ̀ⲙⲁⲩ:
tell His disciples—and Peter—that He is going before you into Galilee;
إِنَّهُ يَسْبِقُكُمْ إِلَى الْجَلِيلِ.
kataⲕⲁⲧⲁ efreetiⲫ̀ⲣⲏϯ etafgosⲉ̀ⲧⲁϥϫⲟⲥ noten.ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ.
there you will see Him,
هُنَاكَ تَرَوْنَهُ كَمَا قَالَ لَكُمْ».
O-wohⲞⲩⲟϩ aviⲁⲩⲓ̀ evolⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ avfotⲁⲩⲫⲱⲧ evolⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ haϩⲁ pi-emhav:ⲡⲓⲙ̀ϩⲁⲩ:
as He said to you.” So they went out quickly and fled from the tomb,
فَخَرَجْنَ سَرِيعًا وَهَرَبْنَ مِنَ الْقَبْرِ،
neⲛⲉ aⲁ̀ ou-esterterⲟⲩⲥ̀ⲑⲉⲣⲧⲉⲣ gharⲅⲁⲣ tahoouⲧⲁϩⲱⲟⲩ peⲡⲉ nemⲛⲉⲙ outomt:ⲟⲩⲧⲱⲙⲧ:
for they trembled and were amazed.
لأنَّ الرِّعْدَةَ وَالْحَيْرَةَ أخَذَتَاهُنَّ.
o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ empoujeⲙ̀ⲡⲟⲩϫⲉ ehliϩ̀ⲗⲓ enehliⲛ̀ϩ̀ⲗⲓ naverhotiⲛⲁⲩⲉⲣϩⲟϯ gharⲅⲁⲣ pe.ⲡⲉ.
And they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid.
وَلَمْ يَقُلْنَ لأحَدٍ شَيْئًا لأنَّهُنَّ كُنَّ خَائِفَاتٍ.
EtaftonfⲈ̀ⲧⲁϥⲧⲱⲛϥ theⲇⲉ enshorpⲛ̀ϣⲱⲣⲡ empi-ehoouⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲉ̀ϩⲟⲟⲩ enhouitⲛ̀ϩⲟⲩⲓⲧ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ nisabbatonⲛⲓⲥⲁⲃⲃⲁⲧⲟⲛ afowonhfⲁϥⲟⲩⲟⲛϩϥ enshorpⲛ̀ϣⲟⲣⲡ emmariaⲙ̀Ⲙⲁⲣⲓⲁ TimaghdalineeϮⲙⲁⲅⲇⲁⲗⲓⲛⲏ thee-etafhiⲑⲏⲉ̀ⲧⲁϥϩⲓ pishashfⲡⲓϣⲁϣϥ enthemonⲛ̀ⲇⲉⲙⲱⲛ evolⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ hiots.ϩⲓⲱⲧⲥ.
Now when He rose early on the first day of the week, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom He had cast seven demons.
وَبَعْدَمَا قَامَ بَاكِرًا فِي أوَّلِ الاُسْبُوعِ ظَهَرَ أوَّلاً لِمَرْيَمَ الْمَجْدَلِيَّةِ، الَّتِي كَانَ قَدْ أخْرَجَ مِنْهَا سَبْعَةَ شَيَاطِينَ.
Thee-ete-emmavⲐⲏⲉ̀ⲧⲉⲙ̀ⲙⲁⲩ asshenasⲁⲥϣⲉⲛⲁⲥ asgosⲁⲥϫⲟⲥ ennee-enavshopiⲛ̀ⲛⲏⲉ̀ⲛⲁⲩϣⲱⲡⲓ nemaf:ⲛⲉⲙⲁϥ:
She went and told those who had been with Him,
فَذَهَبَتْ هذِهِ وَأخْبَرَتِ الَّذِينَ كَانُوا مَعَهُ وَهُمْ يَنُوحُونَ وَيَبْكُونَ.
everheeviⲉⲩⲉⲣϩⲏⲃⲓ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ evrimi.ⲉⲩⲣⲓⲙⲓ.
as they mourned and wept.
فَلَمَّا سَمِعَ اُولئِكَ أنَّهُ حَيٌّ،
EnthoouⲚ̀ⲑⲱⲟⲩ theⲇⲉ etavsotemⲉ̀ⲧⲁⲩⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ jeϫⲉ efonkhϥ̀ⲟⲛϧ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ jeϫⲉ afnavⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ erof:ⲉ̀ⲣⲟϥ:
And when they heard that He was alive and had been seen by her,
وَقَدْ نَظَرَتْهُ،
navoiⲛⲁⲩⲟⲓ enathnahtiⲛ̀ⲁⲑⲛⲁϩϯ pe.ⲡⲉ.
they did not believe.
لَمْ يُصَدِّقُوا.
