“Men of Israel, hear these words:
«أيُّهَا الرِّجَالُ الإِسْرَائِيلِيُّونَ اسْمَعُوا هَذِهِ الأقْوَالَ:
IeesousⲒⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ PinazoreosⲠⲓⲛⲁⲍⲱⲣⲉⲟⲥ OuromiⲞⲩⲣⲱⲙⲓ e-aⲉ̀ⲁ̀ EfnotiⲪ̀ⲛⲟⲩϯ o-onhfⲟⲩⲟⲛϩϥ evolⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ sharotenϣⲁⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ peⲡⲉ khenϧⲉⲛ hangomϩⲁⲛϫⲟⲙ nemⲛⲉⲙ hanmeeiniϩⲁⲛⲙⲏⲓⲛⲓ nemⲛⲉⲙ haneshfeeri:ϩⲁⲛϣ̀ⲫⲏⲣⲓ:
Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders,
يَسُوعُ النَّاصِرِيُّ رَجُلٌ قَدْ تَبَرْهَنَ لَكُمْ مِنْ قِبَلِ اللهِ بِقُوَّاتٍ
nee-etaⲛⲏⲉ̀ⲧⲁ EfnotiⲪ̀ⲛⲟⲩϯ aitouⲁⲓⲧⲟⲩ evolⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ hitotfϩⲓⲧⲟⲧϥ enekhreeⲛ̀ϧ̀ⲣⲏⲓ khenϧⲉⲛ tetenmeeti:ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲙⲏϯ:
and signs which God did through Him in your midst,
وَعَجَائِبَ
kataⲕⲁⲧⲁ efreetiⲫ̀ⲣⲏϯ etetensoounⲉ̀ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲱⲟⲩⲛ enthoten.ⲛ̀ⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ.
as you yourselves also know—Him,
وَآيَاتٍ صَنَعَهَا اللهُ بِيَدِهِ
FaiⲪⲁⲓ khenϧⲉⲛ pisochni:ⲡⲓⲥⲟϭⲛⲓ:
being delivered by the determined purpose and foreknowledge of God,
فِي
ettheeshⲉⲧⲑⲏϣ nemⲛⲉⲙ pishorpⲡⲓϣⲟⲣⲡ enemiⲛ̀ⲉ̀ⲙⲓ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ Efnoti:Ⲫ̀ⲛⲟⲩϯ:
you have taken by lawless hands,
وَسَطِكُمْ كَمَا أنْتُمْ أيْضاً تَعْلَمُونَ.
e-atetenteeifⲉ̀ⲁ̀ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲧⲏⲓϥ e-ekhreeⲉ̀ϧ̀ⲣⲏⲓ enenjigⲉ̀ⲛⲉⲛϫⲓϫ enni-anomos:ⲛ̀ⲛⲓⲁ̀ⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ:
have crucified, and put to death;
هَذَا أخَذْتُمُوهُ مُسَلَّماً بِمَشُورَةِ اللهِ الْمَحْتُومَةِ
e-aretenashfⲉ̀ⲁ̀ⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲁϣϥ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ aretenkhothvef.ⲁ̀ⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϧⲟⲑⲃⲉϥ.
whom God raised up,
وَعِلْمِهِ السَّابِقِ
FaiⲪⲁⲓ etaⲉ̀ⲧⲁ EfnotiⲪ̀ⲛⲟⲩϯ tounosfⲧⲟⲩⲛⲟⲥϥ eafvolⲉ̀ⲁϥⲃⲱⲗ evolⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ enninakhiⲛ̀ⲛⲓⲛⲁⲕϩⲓ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ Amenti:Ⲁ̀ⲙⲉⲛϯ:
having loosed the pains of death,
وَبِأيْدِي أثَمَةٍ صَلَبْتُمُوهُ وَقَتَلْتُمُوهُ.
jeϫⲉ neⲛⲉ emmonⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲛ eshgomϣ̀ϫⲟⲙ ense-amoniⲛ̀ⲥⲉⲁ̀ⲙⲟⲛⲓ emmofⲙ̀ⲙⲟϥ evolⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ hitotf.ϩⲓⲧⲟⲧϥ.
because it was not possible that He should be held by it.
اَلَّذِي أقَامَهُ اللهُ نَاقِضاً أوْجَاعَ الْمَوْتِ إِذْ لَمْ يَكُنْ مُمْكِناً أنْ يُمْسَكَ مِنْهُ.
DavidⲆⲁⲩⲓⲇ gharⲅⲁⲣ efgoⲉϥϫⲱ emmosⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ erof:ⲉ̀ⲣⲟϥ:
For David says concerning Him:
لأنَّ دَاوُدَ يَقُولُ فِيهِ:
jeϫⲉ aiershorpⲁⲓⲉⲣϣⲱⲣⲡ ennavⲛ̀ⲛⲁⲩ emepshoisⲙ̀Ⲡ̀ϭⲟⲓⲥ empa-emthoⲙ̀ⲡⲁⲙ̀ⲑⲟ evolⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ enseeouⲛ̀ⲥⲏⲟⲩ niven:ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ:
‘I foresaw the Lord always before my face, For He is at my right hand,
كُنْتُ أرَى الرَّبَّ أمَامِي فِي كُلِّ حِينٍ أنَّهُ عَنْ يَمِينِي لِكَيْ لاَ أتَزَعْزَعَ.
efkeeⲉϥⲭⲏ saouinamⲥⲁⲟⲩⲓ̀ⲛⲁⲙ emmoiⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲓ jeϫⲉ ennakim.ⲛ̀ⲛⲁⲕⲓⲙ.
that I may not be shaken.
لِذَلِكَ سُرَّ قَلْبِي
EthveⲈⲑⲃⲉ faiⲫⲁⲓ aⲁ̀ paheetⲡⲁϩⲏⲧ ounof:ⲟⲩⲛⲟϥ:
Therefore my heart rejoiced, and my tongue was glad;
وَتَهَلَّلَ لِسَانِي.
o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ aⲁ̀ palasⲡⲁⲗⲁⲥ theleelⲑⲉⲗⲏⲗ etiⲉ̀ⲧⲓ theⲇⲉ nemⲛⲉⲙ takesarksⲧⲁⲕⲉⲥⲁⲣⲝ eseshopiⲉⲥⲉ̀ϣⲱⲡⲓ khenϧⲉⲛ ouhelpis:ⲟⲩϩⲉⲗⲡⲓⲥ:
Moreover my flesh also will rest in hope.
حَتَّى جَسَدِي أيْضاً سَيَسْكُنُ عَلَى رَجَاءٍ.
JeϪⲉ enneksogpⲛ̀ⲛⲉⲕⲥⲱϫⲡ entapsisheeⲛ̀ⲧⲁⲯⲩⲭⲏ khenϧⲉⲛ Amenti:Ⲁ̀ⲙⲉⲛϯ:
For You will not leave my soul in Hades,
لأنَّكَ لَنْ تَتْرُكَ نَفْسِي فِي الْهَاوِيَةِ
outheⲟⲩⲇⲉ ennektiⲛ̀ⲛⲉⲕϯ empethowabⲙ̀Ⲡⲉⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ entakⲛ̀ⲧⲁⲕ enavⲉ̀ⲛⲁⲩ e-eptako.ⲉ̀ⲡ̀ⲧⲁⲕⲟ.
Nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption.
وَلاَ تَدَعَ قُدُّوسَكَ يَرَى فَسَاداً.
NimoitⲚⲓⲙⲱⲓⲧ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ eponkhⲡ̀ⲱⲛϧ akowonhouⲁⲕⲟⲩⲟⲛϩⲟⲩ neeⲛⲏⲓ evol:ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ:
You have made known to me the ways of life;
عَرَّفْتَنِي سُبُلَ الْحَيَاةِ
ekemahtⲉⲕⲉ̀ⲙⲁϩⲧ enowounofⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲟⲩⲛⲟϥ nemⲛⲉⲙ pekho.ⲡⲉⲕϩⲟ.
You will make me full of joy in Your presence.’
وَسَتَمْلاُنِي سُرُوراً مَعَ وَجْهِكَ.
NiromiⲚⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ nenesneeou:ⲛⲉⲛⲥ̀ⲛⲏⲟⲩ:
“Men and brethren,
أيُّهَا الرِّجَالُ الإِخْوَةُ يَسُوغُ أنْ يُقَالَ لَكُمْ جِهَاراً عَنْ رَئِيسِ الآبَاءِ دَاوُدَ إِنَّهُ مَاتَ
essheⲥ̀ϣⲉ esajiⲉ̀ⲥⲁϫⲓ nemotenⲛⲉⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ khenϧⲉⲛ o-onhⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ evolⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ethveⲉⲑⲃⲉ penpatriarsheesⲡⲉⲛⲡⲁⲧⲣⲓⲁⲣⲭⲏⲥ David:Ⲇⲁⲩⲓⲇ:
let me speak freely to you of the patriarch David,
وَدُفِنَ وَقَبْرُهُ عِنْدَنَا حَتَّى هَذَا الْيَوْمِ.
jeϫⲉ afmouⲁϥⲙⲟⲩ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ avkosfⲁⲩⲕⲟⲥϥ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ pefemhavⲡⲉϥⲙ̀ϩⲁⲩ shopϣⲟⲡ enekhreeⲛ̀ϧ̀ⲣⲏⲓ enkheetenⲛ̀ϧⲏⲧⲉⲛ shaϣⲁ ekhounⲉ̀ϧⲟⲩⲛ efoouⲉ̀ⲫⲟⲟⲩ eteⲉ̀ⲧⲉ emmav:ⲙ̀ⲙⲁⲩ:
that he is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us to this day.
فَإِذْ كَانَ نَبِيّاً وَعَلِمَ أنَّ اللهَ حَلَفَ لَهُ بِقَسَمٍ أنَّهُ مِنْ ثَمَرَةِ صُلْبِهِ يُقِيمُ الْمَسِيحَ حَسَبَ الْجَسَدِ لِيَجْلِسَ عَلَى كُرْسِيِّهِ سَبَقَ
Eou-eprofeeteesⲈ̀ⲟⲩⲡ̀ⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲏⲥ ounⲟⲩⲛ peⲡⲉ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ efsoounⲉϥⲥⲱⲟⲩⲛ jeϫⲉ khenϧⲉⲛ o-anashⲟⲩⲁ̀ⲛⲁϣ aⲁ̀ EfnotiⲪ̀ⲛⲟⲩϯ orkⲱⲣⲕ naf:ⲛⲁϥ:
Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that of the fruit of his body,
فَرَأى وَتَكَلَّمَ عَنْ قِيَامَةِ الْمَسِيحِ أنَّهُ لَمْ تُتْرَكْ نَفْسُهُ
jeϫⲉ evolⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ khenϧⲉⲛ epoutahⲡ̀ⲟⲩⲧⲁϩ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ teftipiⲧⲉϥϯⲡⲓ ethrefhemsiⲉⲑⲣⲉϥϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ hijenϩⲓϫⲉⲛ pefethronos.ⲡⲉϥⲑ̀ⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ.
according to the flesh, He would raise up the Christ to sit on his throne,
فِي الْهَاوِيَةِ
EtafnavⲈ̀ⲧⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ounⲟⲩⲛ isjenⲓⲥϫⲉⲛ shorpϣⲟⲣⲡ afsagⲁϥⲥⲁϫ ethveⲉⲑⲃⲉ EtanastasisⲦ̀ⲁ̀ⲛⲁⲥⲧⲁⲥⲓⲥ empi-ekhristos:ⲙ̀Ⲡⲓⲭ̀ⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ:
he, foreseeing this, spoke concerning the Resurrection of the Christ,
وَلاَ رَأى جَسَدُهُ فَسَاداً.
jeϫⲉ empefsogpfⲙ̀ⲡⲉϥⲥⲟϫⲡϥ khenϧⲉⲛ AmentiⲀ̀ⲙⲉⲛϯ outheⲟⲩⲇⲉ empetefsarksⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲧⲉϥⲥⲁⲣⲝ navⲛⲁⲩ e-eptako.ⲉ̀ⲡ̀ⲧⲁⲕⲟ.
that His soul was not left in Hades, nor did His flesh see corruption.
فَيَسُوعُ هَذَا أقَامَهُ اللهُ
FaiⲪⲁⲓ peⲡⲉ IeesousⲒⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ etaⲉ̀ⲧⲁ EfnotiⲪ̀ⲛⲟⲩϯ tounosf:ⲧⲟⲩⲛⲟⲥϥ:
This Jesus God has raised up,
وَنَحْنُ جَمِيعاً شُهُودٌ لِذَلِكَ.
faiⲫⲁⲓ eteⲉ̀ⲧⲉ anonⲁ̀ⲛⲟⲛ teerenⲧⲏⲣⲉⲛ tenoiⲧⲉⲛⲟⲓ emmethreⲙ̀ⲙⲉⲑⲣⲉ naf:ⲛⲁϥ:
of which we are all witnesses.
وَإِذِ ارْتَفَعَ بِيَمِينِ اللهِ
EafchisiⲈ̀ⲁϥϭⲓⲥⲓ saouinamⲥⲁⲟⲩⲓ̀ⲛⲁⲙ emefnotiⲙ̀Ⲫ̀ⲛⲟⲩϯ eafchiⲉ̀ⲁϥϭⲓ empioshⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲱϣ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ Pi-epnevmaⲠⲓⲡ̀ⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁ EthowabⲈⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ evolⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ hitotfϩⲓⲧⲟⲧϥ emefiotⲙ̀Ⲫ̀ⲓⲱⲧ affonⲁϥⲫⲱⲛ emmof:ⲙ̀ⲙⲟϥ:
Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit,
وَأخَذَ مَوْعِدَ الرُّوحِ الْقُدُسِ مِنَ الآبِ سَكَبَ هَذَا الَّذِي أنْتُمُ الآنَ تُبْصِرُونَهُ
faiⲫⲁⲓ enthotenⲛ̀ⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ etetennavⲉ̀ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲩ erofⲉ̀ⲣⲟϥ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ tetensotemⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ erof.ⲉ̀ⲣⲟϥ.
He poured out this which you now see and hear.
وَتَسْمَعُونَهُ.
ThavilⲆⲁⲩⲓⲗ gharⲅⲁⲣ empefsheⲙ̀ⲡⲉϥϣⲉ enifeeoui:ⲉ̀ⲛⲓⲫⲏⲟⲩⲓ̀:
“For David did not ascend into the heavens,
لأنَّ دَاوُدَ لَمْ يَصْعَدْ إِلَى السَّمَاوَاتِ.
enthofⲛ̀ⲑⲟϥ theⲇⲉ efgoⲉϥϫⲱ emmosⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ je:ϫⲉ:
but he says himself:
وَهُوَ نَفْسُهُ يَقُولُ:
pejeⲡⲉϫⲉ EpshoisⲠ̀ϭⲟⲓⲥ empashoisⲙ̀Ⲡⲁϭⲟⲓⲥ jeϫⲉ hemsiϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ saouinamⲥⲁⲟⲩⲓ̀ⲛⲁⲙ emmoi:ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲓ:
‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand,
قَالَ الرَّبُّ لِرَبِّي اجْلِسْ عَنْ يَمِينِي حَتَّى
ShaϢⲁ tikaϯⲭⲁ nekgajiⲛⲉⲕϫⲁϫⲓ sapeseetⲥⲁⲡⲉⲥⲏⲧ ennekchalavg.ⲛ̀ⲛⲉⲕϭⲁⲗⲁⲩϫ.
Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.”’
أضَعَ أعْدَاءَكَ مَوْطِئاً لِقَدَمَيْكَ].
PisajiⲠⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ theⲇⲉ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ EpshoisⲠ̀ϭⲟⲓⲥ efeaiaiⲉϥⲉ̀ⲁⲓⲁⲓ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ efe-ashai:ⲉϥⲉ̀ⲁ̀ϣⲁⲓ:
The word of the Lord shall grow,
لم تزل كلمة الرب تنو
efe-amahiⲉϥⲉ̀ⲁ̀ⲙⲁϩⲓ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ efetagro:ⲉϥⲉ̀ⲧⲁϫⲣⲟ:
multiply, be mighty,
وتعتز
khenϧⲉⲛ ti-agiaϯⲁ̀ⲅⲓⲁ enekkleesiaⲛ̀Ⲉⲕⲕⲗⲏⲥⲓⲁ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ Efnoti.Ⲫ̀ⲛⲟⲩϯ.
and be confirmed in the holy Church of God.
وتثبت في كنيسة الله المقدسة.
