The Father looked down from heaven,
تطلع الآب من السماء،
ejenⲉ̀ϫⲉⲛ nee-etshopⲛⲏⲉⲧϣⲟⲡ hijenϩⲓϫⲉⲛ pikahi:ⲡⲓⲕⲁϩⲓ:
to those who dwell on the earth,
على سكان الأرض،
empefjemⲙ̀ⲡⲉϥϫⲉⲙ fee-etoniⲫⲏⲉⲧⲟ̀ⲛⲓ emmos:ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ:
He found no one like,
فلم يجد من يُشبه،
emmariaⲙ̀Ⲙⲁⲣⲓⲁ Tiparthenos.Ϯⲡⲁⲣⲑⲉⲛⲟⲥ.

مريم العذراء.

to announce to her with joy,
فبشرها بفرح،
empaireetiⲙ̀ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ efgoⲉϥϫⲱ emmos.ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ.

قائلاً هكذا.
JeϪⲉ shereⲭⲉⲣⲉ thee-ethmehⲑⲏⲉⲑⲙⲉϩ enehmot:ⲛ̀ϩ̀ⲙⲟⲧ:
"Hail to you O full of grace,
"السلام للممتلئة نعمة،
o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ EpshoisⲠ̀ϭⲟⲓⲥ shopϣⲟⲡ neme:ⲛⲉⲙⲉ:
the Lord is with you,
الرب معكِ،
arejimiⲁ̀ⲣⲉϫⲓⲙⲓ gharⲅⲁⲣ enou-ehmot:ⲛ̀ⲟⲩϩ̀ⲙⲟⲧ:
you have found grace,
وجدتِ نعمة،

before God the Father.
عند الله الآب.

and give birth to a Son,
وتلدين إبناً،

He will be called Jesus,
ويدعى إسمه يسوع،
EpsheeriⲠ̀ϣⲏⲣⲓ emfee-etchosi.ⲙ̀Ⲫⲏⲉⲧϭⲟⲥⲓ.
the Son of the Most High.
إبن العليْ.
EfetiⲈϥⲉ̀ϯ nafⲛⲁϥ enjeⲛ̀ϫⲉ EpshoisⲠ̀ϭⲟⲓⲥ Efnoti:Ⲫ̀ⲛⲟⲩϯ:
The Lord God will give Him,
ويعطيه الرب الإله،
empi-ethronosⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲑ̀ⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ DavidⲆⲁⲩⲓⲇ pefiot:ⲡⲉϥⲓⲱⲧ:
the throne of His father David,
كرسي داود أبيه،
efnaerouroϥ̀ⲛⲁⲉⲣⲟⲩⲣⲟ ejenⲉ̀ϫⲉⲛ epeeⲡ̀ⲏⲓ enyakob:ⲛ̀Ⲓⲁⲕⲱⲃ:
and He will reign over Jacob´s house,
ويملك على بيت يعقوب،
shaϣⲁ enehⲉ̀ⲛⲉϩ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ pi-eneh.ⲡⲓⲉ̀ⲛⲉϩ.
forever and ever.
إلى أبد الأبد.
++ O-wohⲞⲩⲟϩ ennaerkha-e:ⲛ̀ⲛⲁⲉⲣϧⲁⲉ̀:
+ And also His kingdom,
+ ولا يكون،
shopiϣⲱⲡⲓ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ tefmetouro:ⲧⲉϥⲙⲉⲧⲟⲩⲣⲟ:
will have no end,
لملكه نهاية،
o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ menensaⲙⲉⲛⲉⲛⲥⲁ ethremasf:ⲑ̀ⲣⲉⲙⲁⲥϥ:
and after He was born from you,
وبعد أن تلديه،
ere-ohiⲉ̀ⲣⲉⲟ̀ϩⲓ ereoiⲉ̀ⲣⲉⲟⲓ emparthenos.ⲙ̀ⲡⲁⲣⲑⲉⲛⲟⲥ.
you will remain a virgin."
تظلي عذراء."

The Virgin Mary answered,
فأجابت مريم العذراء،
jeϫⲉ anokⲁ̀ⲛⲟⲕ isⲓⲥ tivokiϯⲃⲱⲕⲓ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ Epshois:Ⲡ̀ϭⲟⲓⲥ:
"Behold the maidservant of the Lord,
"هوذا أنا أمة للرب،
eseshopiⲉⲥⲉ̀ϣⲱⲡⲓ kataⲕⲁⲧⲁ peksaji:ⲡⲉⲕⲥⲁϫⲓ:
let it be to me according to your word,"
ليكن لي كقولك،"
afshenafⲁϥϣⲉⲛⲁϥ evolⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ enjeⲛ̀ϫⲉ piangelos.ⲡⲓⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ.
and the angel departed.
فمضى الملاك.

and came to the Virgin´s womb,
وأتيت إلى بطن العذراء،

and was incarnate from her.
وتجسدت منها.

with His good Father,
مع أبيه الصالح،

and the Holy Spirit,
والروح القدس،
