who foreordained us to sonship through Jesus Christ our Lord,

This is He by whom we had our salvation,

So that, as You have made us worthy to fulfill Them,
لكيْ كما جعلتنا أهلاً أن نكملهما،

so also may we be worthy of the communion and partaking of Them.

إذ نطرح عنا كل ظلمه الشر،

ونستطيع أن نرفع أعيننا إلي

That we may be able to raise up our eyes towards the splendor of Your holy glory.
فوق نحو بهاء مجدك القدوس.

وكما طهرت شفتي عبدك إشعياء النبي.

وطرحها في فيه وقال له:
JeϪⲉ isⲓⲥ faiⲫⲁⲓ afchinemⲁϥϭⲓⲛⲉⲙ nekesfotou:ⲛⲉⲕⲥ̀ⲫⲟⲧⲟⲩ:
"Behold,
"إن هذه قد لمست شفتيك
efna-oliϥ̀ⲛⲁⲱ̀ⲗⲓ ennekanomia:ⲛ̀ⲛⲉⲕⲁ̀ⲛⲟⲙⲓⲁ:
this has touched your lips,
ترفع آثامك،
o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ neknoviⲛⲉⲕⲛⲟⲃⲓ teerouⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ efnatouvoou.ϥ̀ⲛⲁⲧⲟⲩⲃⲱⲟⲩ.
it shall take away your iniquities and cleanse all your sins."
وتطهر جميع خطاياك."

Likewise we too, Your weak and sinful servants, who ask for Your mercy.
هكذا نحن أيضاً الضعفاء الخطاة، عبيدك الطالبين رحمتك.

وقلوبنا.

التي هي الجسد المقدس، والدم الكريم اللذان لمسيحك.

Not unto judgment,
لا للدينونة

nor unto falling into condemnation,
ولا للوقوع في الدينونة،

ولا خزياً وتبكيتاً لزلاتنا.

Lest, partaking of Them unworthily,
لئلا إذا تناولنا منهما بغير إستحقاق،

having become ungrateful towards You,
اذ نصير غير شاكرين لك
enthokⲛ̀ⲑⲟⲕ khaϧⲁ pireferpethnanef.ⲡⲓⲢⲉϥⲉⲣⲡⲉⲑⲛⲁⲛⲉϥ.
O You, the beneficent One.
أنت المحسن.

وسريرة مستنيرة، بوجه غير مخزي،

a perfect love, and a firm hope,
وإيمان بغير رياء، بمحبة كاملة ورجاء ثابت.
