Our Lord Jesus Christ,
ربنا يسوع المسيح،
pi-oouⲡⲓⲱ̀ⲟⲩ fofⲫⲱϥ nemⲛⲉⲙ pihimnos:ⲡⲓϩⲩⲙⲛⲟⲥ:
glory and chanting to Him,
له المجد والترتيل،
nemⲛⲉⲙ PefiotⲠⲉϥⲓⲱⲧ enaghathos:ⲛ̀ⲁ̀ⲅⲁⲑⲟⲥ:
with His good Father,
مع أبيه الصالح،
nemⲛⲉⲙ Pi-epnevmaⲠⲓⲡ̀ⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁ emparakleeton.ⲙ̀ⲡⲁⲣⲁⲕⲗⲏⲧⲟⲛ.
and the Spirit of comfort.
والروح المعزي.

on His Mother's hands,
على يدي أمه،

after forty days,
بعد أربعين يوماً،

Joseph the Righteous came,
جاء يوسف الصديق،
nemⲛⲉⲙ MariaⲘⲁⲣⲓⲁ EthmavⲐ̀ⲙⲁⲩ empi-ekhristos:ⲙ̀Ⲡⲓⲭ̀ⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ:
with Mary the Mother of Christ,
مع مريم أم المسيح،
avthamioⲁⲩⲑⲁⲙⲓⲟ emepgokⲙ̀ⲡ̀ϫⲱⲕ empinomos:ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ:
to fulfill the law,
وصنعا أتمام الناموس،
ethveⲉⲑⲃⲉ Pi-alouⲠⲓⲁ̀ⲗⲟⲩ ensoteerⲛ̀Ⲥⲱⲧⲏⲣ Ieesous.Ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ.
in Jesus the Savior.
لآجل الصبي المخلص يسوع.

Simeon the Priest carried Him,
+ حمله سمعان الكاهن،

on his holy hands,
على يديه الطاهرتين،

and praised Christ the King,
وسبح الملك المسيح،
empaireetiⲙ̀ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ efgoⲉϥϫⲱ emmos.ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ.
likewise saying.
هكذا قائلاً.
TinouϮⲛⲟⲩ PaneebⲠⲁⲛⲏⲃ eknakaⲭ̀ⲛⲁⲭⲁ pekvok:ⲡⲉⲕⲃⲱⲕ:
"Lord now You are letting Your servant depart,
"الآن يا سيد تطلق عبدك،
evolⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ khenϧⲉⲛ ouhireeneeⲟⲩϩⲓⲣⲏⲛⲏ kataⲕⲁⲧⲁ peksaji:ⲡⲉⲕⲥⲁϫⲓ:
in peace according to Your word,
بسلام كقولك،
jeϫⲉ avnavⲁⲩⲛⲁⲩ enjeⲛ̀ϫⲉ navalⲛⲁⲃⲁⲗ epeknohem:ⲉ̀ⲡⲉⲕⲛⲟϩⲉⲙ:
for my eyes have seen Your salvation,
لأن عيني قد أبصرتا خلاصك،
fee-etaksevtotfⲫⲏⲉ̀ⲧⲁⲕⲥⲉⲃⲧⲱⲧϥ empe-emthoⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲙ̀ⲑⲟ ennilaos.ⲛ̀ⲛⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ.
which You have prepared before the people."
الذي أعددته قدام الشعوب."

+ We praise and glorify Him,

and exalt Him above all,
ونزيده علواً،

as a Good One and Lover of Man,
كصالح ومحب البشر،
naiⲛⲁⲓ nanⲛⲁⲛ kataⲕⲁⲧⲁ peknishtiⲡⲉⲕⲛⲓϣϯ ennai.ⲛ̀ⲛⲁⲓ.
have mercy upon us according to Your great mercy.
