17:1 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and talked with me, saying to me, "Come,
1 ثُمَّ جَاءَ وَاحِدٌ مِنَ السَّبْعَةِ الْمَلاَئِكَةِ الَّذِينَ مَعَهُمُ السَّبْعَةُ الْجَامَاتُ، وَتَكَلَّمَ مَعِي قَائِلاً لِي:
jeϫⲉ amouⲁ̀ⲙⲟⲩ entatamokⲛ̀ⲧⲁⲧⲁⲙⲟⲕ e-ephapⲉ̀ⲡ̀ϩⲁⲡ entinishtiⲛ̀ϯⲛⲓϣϯ emporneeⲙ̀ⲡⲟⲣⲛⲏ theeⲑⲏ ethemsiⲉⲧϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ hijenϩⲓϫⲉⲛ hanmeeshϩⲁⲛⲙⲏϣ emmoou:ⲙ̀ⲙⲱⲟⲩ:
I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters,
«هَلُمَّ فَأُرِيَكَ دَيْنُونَةَ الزَّانِيَةِ الْعَظِيمَةِ الْجَالِسَةِ عَلَى الْمِيَاهِ الْكَثِيرَةِ،
17:217:2 TheeⲐⲏ etaⲉ̀ⲧⲁ niouroouⲛⲓⲟⲩⲣⲱⲟⲩ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ epkahiⲡ̀ⲕⲁϩⲓ ernoviⲉⲣⲛⲟⲃⲓ nemasⲛⲉⲙⲁⲥ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ averpornevinⲁⲩⲉⲣⲡⲟⲣⲛⲉⲩⲓⲛ avthikhiⲁⲩⲑⲓϧⲓ evolⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ khenϧⲉⲛ epeerpⲡ̀ⲏⲣⲡ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ tesporniaⲧⲉⲥⲡⲟⲣⲛⲓⲁ enjeⲛ̀ϫⲉ neeⲛⲏ etshopⲉⲧϣⲟⲡ hijenϩⲓϫⲉⲛ epkahi.ⲡ̀ⲕⲁϩⲓ.
17:2 with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication."
2 الَّتِي زَنَى مَعَهَا مُلُوكُ الأَرْضِ، وَسَكِرَ سُكَّانُ الأَرْضِ مِنْ خَمْرِ زِنَاهَا».
17:317:3 O-wohⲞⲩⲟϩ afoltⲁϥⲟⲗⲧ e-epshafeⲉ̀ⲡ̀ϣⲁϥⲉ khenϧⲉⲛ ou-epnevmaⲟⲩⲡ̀ⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ ainavⲁⲓⲛⲁⲩ eou-eshimiⲉ̀ⲟⲩⲥ̀ϩⲓⲙⲓ eshemsiⲉⲥϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ hijenϩⲓϫⲉⲛ outheerionⲟⲩⲑⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ enkokkosⲛ̀ⲕⲟⲕⲕⲟⲥ efmehⲉϥⲙⲉϩ enranⲛ̀ⲣⲁⲛ enjeowaⲛ̀ϫⲉⲟⲩⲁ̀ eowonⲉ̀ⲟⲩⲟⲛ shashfϣⲁϣϥ (shashf)(ⲍ̅) enafeⲛ̀ⲁ̀ⲫⲉ higofϩⲓϫⲱϥ nemⲛⲉⲙ meetⲙⲏⲧ (meet)(ⲓ̅) entap.ⲛ̀ⲧⲁⲡ.
17:3 So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
3 فَمَضَى بِي بِالرُّوحِ إِلَى بَرِّيَّةٍ، فَرَأَيْتُ امْرَأَةً جَالِسَةً عَلَى وَحْشٍ قِرْمِزِيٍّ مَمْلُوءٍ أَسْمَاءَ تَجْدِيفٍ، لَهُ سَبْعَةُ رُؤُوسٍ وَعَشَرَةُ قُرُونٍ.
17:417:4 O-wohⲞⲩⲟϩ ti-eshimiϯⲥ̀ϩⲓⲙⲓ nasgolhⲛⲁⲥϫⲟⲗϩ enou-ehvosⲛ̀ⲟⲩϩ̀ⲃⲱⲥ encheejiⲛ̀ϭⲏϫⲓ nemⲛⲉⲙ oukokkosⲟⲩⲕⲟⲕⲕⲟⲥ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ esoiⲉⲥⲟⲓ eniebⲛ̀ⲓⲉⲃ ennoubⲛ̀ⲛⲟⲩⲃ khenϧⲉⲛ efnoubⲫ̀ⲛⲟⲩⲃ nemⲛⲉⲙ pi-oniⲡⲓⲱ̀ⲛⲓ ettaieeoutⲉⲧⲧⲁⲓⲏⲟⲩⲧ nemⲛⲉⲙ hananameeϩⲁⲛⲁⲛⲁⲙⲏⲓ eowonⲉ̀ⲟⲩⲟⲛ o-afotⲟⲩⲁ̀ⲫⲟⲧ ennoubⲛ̀ⲛⲟⲩⲃ khenϧⲉⲛ tesjigⲧⲉⲥϫⲓϫ efmehⲉϥⲙⲉϩ ensofⲛ̀ⲥⲱϥ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ nisofⲛⲓⲥⲱϥ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ tesporniaⲧⲉⲥⲡⲟⲣⲛⲓⲁ nemⲛⲉⲙ epkahiⲡ̀ⲕⲁϩⲓ teerf.ⲧⲏⲣϥ.
17:4 The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication.
4 وَالْمَرْأَةُ كَانَتْ مُتَسَرْبِلَةً بِأُرْجُوانٍ وَقِرْمِزٍ، وَمُتَحَلِّيَةً بِذَهَبٍ وَحِجَارَةٍ كَرِيمَةٍ وَلُؤْلُؤٍ، وَمَعَهَا كَأْسٌ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فِي يَدِهَا مَمْلُوَّةٌ رَجَاسَاتٍ وَنَجَاسَاتِ زِنَاهَا،
17:517:5 EowonⲈ̀ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ouranⲟⲩⲣⲁⲛ eskheeoutⲥ̀ϧⲏⲟⲩⲧ hiϩⲓ testehni:ⲧⲉⲥⲧⲉϩⲛⲓ:
17:5 And on her forehead a name was written:
5 وَعَلَى جِبْهَتِهَا اسْمٌ مَكْتُوبٌ:
JeϪⲈ PimisteerionⲠⲒⲘⲨⲤⲦⲎⲢⲒⲞⲚ EnteⲚ̀ⲦⲈ EthbabilonⲐ̀ⲂⲀⲂⲨⲖⲰⲚ EthmavⲐ̀ⲘⲀⲨ EnnipornosⲚ̀ⲚⲒⲠⲞⲢⲚⲞⲤ NemⲚⲈⲘ NisafheetⲚⲒⲤⲀϤϨⲎⲦ EnteⲚ̀ⲦⲈ Epkahi.Ⲡ̀ⲔⲀϨⲒ.
MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
«سِرٌّ. بَابِلُ الْعَظِيمَةُ أُمُّ الزَّوَانِي وَرَجَاسَاتِ الأَرْضِ».
17:617:6 O-wohⲞⲩⲟϩ ainavⲁⲓⲛⲁⲩ eou-eshimiⲉ̀ⲟⲩⲥ̀ϩⲓⲙⲓ estakhiⲉⲥⲑⲁϧⲓ evolⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ khenϧⲉⲛ pi-esnofⲡⲓⲥ̀ⲛⲟϥ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ niagiosⲛⲓⲁⲅⲓⲟⲥ nemⲛⲉⲙ evolⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ khenϧⲉⲛ epesnofⲡ̀ⲥ̀ⲛⲟϥ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ nimartirosⲛⲓⲙⲁⲣⲧⲩⲣⲟⲥ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ IeesousⲒⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ aiereshfeeri.ⲁⲓⲉⲣϣ̀ⲫⲏⲣⲓ.
17:6 I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I marveled with great amazement.
6 وَرَأَيْتُ الْمَرْأَةَ سَكْرَى مِنْ دَمِ الْقِدِّيسِينَ وَمِنْ دَمِ شُهَدَاءِ يَسُوعَ. فَتَعَجَّبْتُ لَمَّا رَأَيْتُهَا تَعَجُّباً عَظِيماً!
17:717:7 O-wohⲞⲩⲟϩ pejeⲡⲉϫⲉ piangelosⲡⲓⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ nee:ⲛⲏⲓ:
17:7 But the angel said to me,
7 ثُمَّ قَالَ لِي الْمَلاَكُ:
jeϫⲉ ethveouⲉⲑⲃⲉⲟⲩ akereshfeeriⲁⲕⲉⲣϣ̀ⲫⲏⲣⲓ anokⲁ̀ⲛⲟⲕ tinatamokϯⲛⲁⲧⲁⲙⲟⲕ epimisteerionⲉ̀ⲡⲓⲙⲩⲥⲧⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ti-eshimiϯⲥ̀ϩⲓⲙⲓ nemⲛⲉⲙ pitheerionⲡⲓⲑⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ etfaiⲉⲧϥⲁⲓ emmosⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ feeⲫⲏ eteⲉ̀ⲧⲉ tishashfϯϣⲁϣϥ (shashf)(ⲍ̅) enafeⲛ̀ⲁ̀ⲫⲉ higofϩⲓϫⲱϥ nemⲛⲉⲙ pimeetⲡⲓⲙⲏⲧ (meet)(ⲓ̅) entap.ⲛ̀ⲧⲁⲡ.
"Why did you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns.
«لِمَاذَا تَعَجَّبْتَ؟ أَنَا أَقُولُ لَكَ سِرَّ الْمَرْأَةِ وَالْوَحْشِ الْحَامِلِ لَهَا، الَّذِي لَهُ السَّبْعَةُ الرُّؤُوسُ وَالْعَشَرَةُ الْقُرُونُ:
17:817:8 PitheerionⲠⲓⲑⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ etaknavⲉⲧⲁⲕⲛⲁⲩ erofⲉ̀ⲣⲟϥ efshopⲉϥϣⲟⲡ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ efshopϥ̀ϣⲟⲡ anⲁⲛ efneeouⲉϥⲛⲏⲟⲩ e-ehreeⲉ̀ϩ̀ⲣⲏⲓ evolⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ khenϧⲉⲛ efnounⲫ̀ⲛⲟⲩⲛ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ efnaⲉϥⲛⲁ e-eptakoⲉ̀ⲡ̀ⲧⲁⲕⲟ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ eve-ereshfeeriⲉⲩⲉ̀ⲉⲣϣ̀ⲫⲏⲣⲓ teerouⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ enjeⲛ̀ϫⲉ neeⲛⲏ etshopⲉⲧϣⲟⲡ hijenϩⲓϫⲉⲛ epkahiⲡ̀ⲕⲁϩⲓ neeⲛⲏ eteⲉ̀ⲧⲉ pouranⲡⲟⲩⲣⲁⲛ eskheeoutⲥ̀ϧⲏⲟⲩⲧ anⲁⲛ hiϩⲓ epgomⲡ̀Ϫⲱⲙ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ eponkhⲡ̀Ⲱⲛϧ isjenⲓⲥϫⲉⲛ epshaⲡ̀ϣⲁ ensontⲛ̀ⲥⲱⲛⲧ empikosmosⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ evgoushtⲉⲩϫⲟⲩϣⲧ epitheerioneeⲉ̀ⲡⲓⲑⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛⲏ jeϫⲉ efshopϥ̀ϣⲟⲡ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ efshopϥ̀ϣⲟⲡ anⲁⲛ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ afhei.ⲁϥϩⲉⲓ.
17:8 The beast that you saw was, and is not, and will ascend out of the bottomless pit and go to perdition. And those who dwell on the earth will marvel, whose names are not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, when they see the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
8 الْوَحْشُ الَّذِي رَأَيْتَ، كَانَ وَلَيْسَ الآنَ، وَهُوَ عَتِيدٌ أَنْ يَصْعَدَ مِنَ الْهَاوِيَةِ وَيَمْضِيَ إِلَى الْهَلاَكِ. وَسَيَتَعَجَّبُ السَّاكِنُونَ عَلَى الأَرْضِ الَّذِينَ لَيْسَتْ أَسْمَاؤُهُمْ مَكْتُوبَةً فِي سِفْرِ الْحَيَاةِ مُنْذُ تَأْسِيسِ الْعَالَمِ، حِينَمَا يَرَوْنَ الْوَحْشَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ وَلَيْسَ الآنَ، مَعَ أَنَّهُ كَائِنٌ.
17:917:9 FeeⲪⲏ eteⲉ̀ⲧⲉ o-onⲟⲩⲟⲛ heetϩⲏⲧ emmofⲙ̀ⲙⲟϥ nemⲛⲉⲙ ou-esvoⲟⲩⲥ̀ⲃⲱ marefkatiⲙⲁⲣⲉϥⲕⲁϯ etishashfⲉ̀ϯϣⲁϣϥ (shashf)(ⲍ̅) enafeⲛ̀ⲁ̀ⲫⲉ entoouⲛ̀ⲧⲱⲟⲩ neⲛⲉ ereⲉ̀ⲣⲉ ti-eshimiϯⲥ̀ϩⲓⲙⲓ hemsiϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ higoou.ϩⲓϫⲱⲟⲩ.
17:9 Here is the mind which has wisdom: The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits.
9 هُنَا الذِّهْنُ الَّذِي لَهُ حِكْمَةٌ! السَّبْعَةُ الرُّؤُوسُ هِيَ سَبْعَةُ جِبَالٍ عَلَيْهَا الْمَرْأَةُ جَالِسَةً.
17:1017:10 NaiⲚⲁⲓ shashfϣⲁϣϥ (shashf)(ⲍ̅) enouroⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲣⲟ neⲛⲉ pietioouⲡⲓⲉⲧⲓⲟⲟⲩ (etiou)(ⲉ̅) avheiⲁⲩϩⲉⲓ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ piketⲡⲓⲭⲉⲧ efo-opϥ̀ⲱ̀ⲟⲡ anⲁⲛ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ pikeowaiⲡⲓⲕⲉⲟⲩⲁⲓ empatefiⲙ̀ⲡⲁⲧⲉϥⲓ̀ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ eshopⲉϣⲱⲡ afshaniⲁϥϣⲁⲛⲓ̀ efna-ohiϥ̀ⲛⲁⲟ̀ϩⲓ enoukouji.ⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲕⲟⲩϫⲓ.
17:10 There are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet come. And when he comes, he must continue a short time.
10 وَسَبْعَةُ مُلُوكٍ: خَمْسَةٌ سَقَطُوا، وَوَاحِدٌ مَوْجُودٌ، وَالآخَرُ لَمْ يَأْتِ بَعْدُ. وَمَتَى أَتَى يَنْبَغِي أَنْ يَبْقَى قَلِيلاً.
17:1117:11 O-wohⲞⲩⲟϩ pitheerionⲡⲓⲑⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ enafshopⲉ̀ⲛⲁϥϣⲟⲡ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ enefshopⲛ̀ϥ̀ϣⲟⲡ anⲁⲛ o-angelosⲟⲩⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ hofϩⲱϥ peⲡⲉ evolⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ khenϧⲉⲛ pishashfⲡⲓϣⲁϣϥ (shashf)(ⲍ̅) o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ efnaϥ̀ⲛⲁ e-eptako.ⲉ̀ⲡ̀ⲧⲁⲕⲟ.
17:11 And the beast that was, and is not, is himself also the eighth, and is of the seven, and is going to perdition.
11 وَالْوَحْشُ الَّذِي كَانَ وَلَيْسَ الآنَ فَهُوَ ثَامِنٌ، وَهُوَ مِنَ السَّبْعَةِ، وَيَمْضِي إِلَى الْهَلاَكِ.
17:1217:12 O-wohⲞⲩⲟϩ pimeetⲡⲓⲙⲏⲧ (meet)(ⲓ̅) entapⲛ̀ⲧⲁⲡ etaknavⲉⲧⲁⲕⲛⲁⲩ eroouⲉ̀ⲣⲱⲟⲩ meetⲙⲏⲧ (meet)(ⲓ̅) enouroⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲣⲟ neⲛⲉ naiⲛⲁⲓ eteⲉ̀ⲧⲉ empatouchiⲙ̀ⲡⲁⲧⲟⲩϭⲓ enowershishiⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲉⲣϣⲓϣⲓ emefreetiⲙ̀ⲫ̀ⲣⲏϯ enhanouroouⲛ̀ϩⲁⲛⲟⲩⲣⲱⲟⲩ enowounouⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩ eavowahouⲉ̀ⲁⲩⲟⲩⲁϩⲟⲩ menensaⲙⲉⲛⲉⲛⲥⲁ pitheerion.ⲡⲓⲑⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ.
17:12 The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast.
12 وَالْعَشَرَةُ الْقُرُونُ الَّتِي رَأَيْتَ هِيَ عَشَرَةُ مُلُوكٍ لَمْ يَأْخُذُوا مُلْكاً بَعْدُ، لَكِنَّهُمْ يَأْخُذُونَ سُلْطَانَهُمْ كَمُلُوكٍ سَاعَةً وَاحِدَةً مَعَ الْوَحْشِ.
17:1317:13 O-onⲞⲩⲟⲛ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ naiⲛⲁⲓ enou-eghnomeeⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲅ̀ⲛⲱⲙⲏ enowotⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲱⲧ emmavⲙ̀ⲙⲁⲩ nemⲛⲉⲙ o-ershishiⲟⲩⲉ̀ⲣϣⲓϣⲓ tougomⲧⲟⲩϫⲟⲙ senateeisⲥⲉⲛⲁⲧⲏⲓⲥ empitheerion.ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲑⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ.
17:13 These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast.
13 هَؤُلاَءِ لَهُمْ رَأْيٌ وَاحِدٌ، وَيُعْطُونَ الْوَحْشَ قُدْرَتَهُمْ وَسُلْطَانَهُمْ.
17:1417:14 NaiⲚⲁⲓ evevotsⲉⲩⲉ̀ⲃⲱⲧⲥ nemⲛⲉⲙ pihieebⲡⲓϨⲓⲏⲃ efechroⲉϥϭ̀ⲣⲟ eroou:ⲉ̀ⲣⲱⲟⲩ:
17:14 These will make war with the Lamb,
14 هَؤُلاَءِ سَيُحَارِبُونَ الْحَمَلَ،
jeϫⲉ EnthofⲚ̀ⲑⲟϥ peⲡⲉ EpshoisⲠ̀ⲟ̅ⲥ̅ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ nishoisⲛⲓⲟ̅ⲥ̅ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ epouroⲡ̀Ⲟⲩⲣⲟ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ niouroou:ⲛⲓⲟⲩⲣⲱⲟⲩ:
and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings;
وَالْحَمَلُ يَغْلِبُهُمْ، لأَنَّهُ رَبُّ الأَرْبَابِ وَمَلِكُ الْمُلُوكِ،
nemⲛⲉⲙ neeⲛⲏ etthahemⲉⲧⲑⲁϩⲉⲙ nemafⲛⲉⲙⲁϥ nemⲛⲉⲙ nisotpⲛⲓⲥⲱⲧⲡ nemⲛⲉⲙ nipistos.ⲛⲓⲡⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ.
and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful."
وَالَّذِينَ مَعَهُ مَدْعُوُّونَ وَمُخْتَارُونَ وَمُؤْمِنُونَ».
17:1517:15 O-wohⲞⲩⲟϩ pegafⲡⲉϫⲁϥ nee:ⲛⲏⲓ:
17:15 Then he said to me,
15 ثُمَّ قَالَ لِيَ:
jeϫⲉ nimoouⲛⲓⲙⲱⲟⲩ etaknavⲉⲧⲁⲕⲛⲁⲩ eroouⲉ̀ⲣⲱⲟⲩ ereⲉ̀ⲣⲉ ti-eshimiϯⲥ̀ϩⲓⲙⲓ hemsiϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ higoouϩⲓϫⲱⲟⲩ hanlaosϩⲁⲛⲗⲁⲟⲥ neⲛⲉ nemⲛⲉⲙ hanmeeshϩⲁⲛⲙⲏϣ enethnos.ⲛ̀ⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ.
"The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues.
«الْمِيَاهُ الَّتِي رَأَيْتَ حَيْثُ الزَّانِيَةُ جَالِسَةٌ هِيَ شُعُوبٌ وَجُمُوعٌ وَأُمَمٌ وَأَلْسِنَةٌ.
17:1617:16 O-wohⲞⲩⲟϩ pimeetⲡⲓⲙⲏⲧ (meet)(ⲓ̅) entapⲛ̀ⲧⲁⲡ etaknavⲉⲧⲁⲕⲛⲁⲩ eroouⲉ̀ⲣⲱⲟⲩ nemⲛⲉⲙ pitheerionⲡⲓⲑⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ naiⲛⲁⲓ evemesteⲉⲩⲉ̀ⲙⲉⲥⲧⲉ tiporneeϯⲡⲟⲣⲛⲏ senashofⲥⲉⲛⲁϣⲱϥ emmosⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲥ senakhasⲥⲉⲛⲁⲭⲁⲥ esveeshⲉⲥⲃⲏϣ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ nessarksⲛⲉⲥⲥⲁⲣⲝ eveowomouⲉⲩⲉ̀ⲟⲩⲟⲙⲟⲩ everokhsⲉⲩⲉ̀ⲣⲟⲕϩⲥ khenϧⲉⲛ pi-ekrom.ⲡⲓⲭ̀ⲣⲱⲙ.
17:16 And the ten horns which you saw on the beast, these will hate the harlot, make her desolate and naked, eat her flesh and burn her with fire.
16 وَأَمَّا الْعَشَرَةُ الْقُرُونُ الَّتِي رَأَيْتَ عَلَى الْوَحْشِ فَهَؤُلاَءِ سَيُبْغِضُونَ الزَّانِيَةَ، وَسَيَجْعَلُونَهَا خَرِبَةً وَعُرْيَانَةً، وَيَأْكُلُونَ لَحْمَهَا وَيُحْرِقُونَهَا بِالنَّارِ.
17:1717:17 EfnotiⲪ̀ϯ gharⲅⲁⲣ afteeisⲁϥⲧⲏⲓⲥ e-ehreeⲉ̀ϩ̀ⲣⲏⲓ epouheetⲉ̀ⲡⲟⲩϩⲏⲧ eiriⲉ̀ⲓⲣⲓ entefeghnomeeⲛ̀ⲧⲉϥⲅ̀ⲛⲱⲙⲏ o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ ethroushopiⲉⲑⲣⲟⲩϣⲱⲡⲓ khenϧⲉⲛ ou-eghnomeeⲟⲩⲅ̀ⲛⲱⲙⲏ enowotⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲱⲧ etiⲉ̀ϯ enoumetouroⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲟⲩⲣⲟ empitheeⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲑⲏ rionⲣⲓⲟⲛ shatougokϣⲁⲧⲟⲩϫⲱⲕ evolⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ enjeⲛ̀ϫⲉ nisajiⲛⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ Efnoti.Ⲫ̀ϯ.
17:17 For God has put it into their hearts to fulfill His purpose, to be of one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled.
17 لأَنَّ اللهَ وَضَعَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ أَنْ يَصْنَعُوا رَأْيَهُ، وَأَنْ يَصْنَعُوا رَأْياً وَاحِداً، وَيُعْطُوا الْوَحْشَ مُلْكَهُمْ حَتَّى تُكْمَلَ أَقْوَالُ اللهِ.
17:1817:18 O-wohⲞⲩⲟϩ ti-eshimiϯⲥ̀ϩⲓⲙⲓ etaknavⲉⲧⲁⲕⲛⲁⲩ erosⲉ̀ⲣⲟⲥ tinishtiϯⲛⲓϣϯ emvakiⲙ̀ⲃⲁⲕⲓ teⲧⲉ theeⲑⲏ eteⲉ̀ⲧⲉ o-ontesⲟⲩⲟⲛⲧⲉⲥ metouroⲙⲉⲧⲟⲩⲣⲟ ejenⲉ̀ϫⲉⲛ nimetouroouⲛⲓⲙⲉⲧⲟⲩⲣⲱⲟⲩ teerouⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ epkahi.ⲡ̀ⲕⲁϩⲓ.
17:18 And the woman whom you saw is that great city which reigns over the kings of the earth."
18 وَالْمَرْأَةُ الَّتِي رَأَيْتَ هِيَ الْمَدِينَةُ الْعَظِيمَةُ الَّتِي لَهَا مُلْكٌ عَلَى مُلُوكِ الأَرْضِ».
