The Lord of glory was called a Son,

رب المجد دعيَ ولداً،

kataⲕⲁⲧⲁ epsajiⲡ̀ⲥⲁϫⲓ empeteⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲧⲉ YoanneesⲒⲱⲁⲛⲛⲏⲥ navⲛⲁⲩ erof:ⲉ̀ⲣⲟϥ:

according to the words of John before he saw Him,

كقول يوحنا قبل أن يراه،

piloghosⲡⲓⲖⲟⲅⲟⲥ epi-e-onionⲉ̀ⲡⲓⲉ̀ⲱ̀ⲛⲓⲟⲛ afchisarks:ⲁϥϭⲓⲥⲁⲣⲝ:

the Eternal Word became flesh,

الكلمة الأزلي صار جسداً،

afiⲁϥⲓ̀ enekhreeⲛ̀ϧ̀ⲣⲏⲓ enkheetenⲛ̀ϧⲏⲧⲉⲛ ennavⲉⲛⲛⲁⲩ erof.ⲉ̀ⲣⲟϥ.

and dwelt in us and we saw Him.

وحل فينا ورأيناه.
