according to the Holy Gospel,
كما في الإنجيل المقدس،
afhishennoufiⲁϥϩⲓϣⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩϥⲓ emmaria.ⲙ̀Ⲙⲁⲣⲓⲁ.
and announced to Mary.
بشر [العذراء] مريم.

to the undefiled Virgin.
إلى العذراء الغير الدنسة.

Gabriel was sent,
أُرسِلَ جبرائيل،

he raised us with the new calling,
أقامنا بالدعوة الجديدة،

the free one was sent,
أُرسِلَ الحر،

to the chaste girl.
إلى الفتاة العفيفية.

أُرسِلَ غبريـال،

to the high palace.
إلى البلاط العلوي.
OumisteerionⲞⲩⲙⲩⲥⲧⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ eneshfeeri:ⲛ̀ϣ̀ⲫⲏⲣⲓ:
A wonderful mystery,
سر عجيب،
o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ emparathoksonⲙ̀ⲡⲁⲣⲁⲇⲟⲝⲟⲛ etchosi:ⲉⲧϭⲟⲥⲓ:
and an exalted wonder,
ومعجز مرتفع،
jeϫⲉ PiloghosⲠⲓⲗⲟⲅⲟⲥ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ Efiot:Ⲫ̀ⲓⲱⲧ:
for the Word of the Father,
لأن كلمة الآب،
afshopiⲁϥϣⲱⲡⲓ nemⲛⲉⲙ niromi.ⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ.
dwelt among men.
صار مع البشر.
++ TenowoshtⲦⲉⲛⲟⲩⲱϣⲧ emmofⲙ̀ⲙⲟϥ tenti-oouⲧⲉⲛϯⲱ̀ⲟⲩ naf:ⲛⲁϥ:
+ We worship Him and glorify Him,
+ نسجد له ونمجده،
nemⲛⲉⲙ PefiotⲠⲉϥⲓⲱⲧ enateshtahof:ⲛ̀ⲁⲧϣ̀ⲧⲁϩⲟϥ:
with His incomprehensible Father,
مع أبيه الغير المدرك،
nemⲛⲉⲙ Pi-epnevmaⲠⲓⲡ̀ⲛⲉⲩⲙⲁ emparakleeton:ⲙ̀ⲡⲁⲣⲁⲕⲗⲏⲧⲟⲛ:
and the Spirit of comfort,
والروح المعزي،
jeϫⲉ afiⲁϥⲓ̀ afsotiⲁϥⲥⲱϯ emmon.ⲙ̀ⲙⲟⲛ.
for He have come and saved us.
لأنه أتى وخلصنا.
