They just show how you say it when there's a Bishop or when there's a Metropolitan but not when there's 2 bishops. Plus the Bishop part and Metropolitan part are not linked, it's stopped, commented, then the second part is played.

There are actually more months than Tobe and Meshir where we don't celebrate the 29th of the Coptic (celebrating the 3 feasts).
It's easier to see when we celebrate it than when we don't: between the first 29th of the Coptic month after the Pentecos…
I just watched a Holy Week service with Ibrahim Ayad and he concluded each prophecy even if there were 2 prophecies of the same author like you said Minamakar.
It's not really the same because you don't start the same way- If you chant a psalm you start with "Psalmos to David Alleluia"- If you chant a Tawaf on its own, you start with "Alleluia"
@Minatasgeel: unfortunately in my Church we don't chant the tawaf except when there's a Bishop but we don't chant marouchasf on its own. Which one are you refering to?
@Minamakar: thank you for the recording, that confirms my supposition :)
Hi Minatasgeel,

Your comment about the long festive tune made me think of another question. What's the d…
It kind of makes sense, however we also chant parts for martyrs in this hymn, does that mean they are also acknowledged as the first among the Apostles, I don't think so :)
If it's befitting to say it before the praxis reading, a different name than…
I have one last question, what could be the reason for the Church to stop doing this procession on every single Liturgy?
My guess would be that it is for time-management purposes.Doing this procession during every single Liturgy would make the Litur…

Hi Minatasgeel,
Thank you very much for your contribution :)
Just to clarify my wording, when I say "procession", I do mean "entrance from the church door to the royal door". I used the same word than "Coptic Heritage" in their "rites encyclopaedia".
