its not just said on good friday
  • http://tasbeha.org/mp3/Songs/English/Trinity_-_Via_Dolorosa.html

    its the eigth song!

    here's the text:
    Via Dolorosa

    Down the Via Dolorosa
    In Jerusalem that day,
The soldiers tried to clear the narrow street.
But the crowd pressed in to see
The Man condemned to die on Calvary.

He was bleeding from the beating
There were stripes upon His back,
And He wore a crown of thorns upon his head,
And He bore with every step
The scorn of those who cried out for His death

Down the Via Dolorosa called the “Way of Suffering”
Like a lamb came the Messiah, Christ the King
But He chose to walk that road
Out of his love for you and me
Down the Via Dolorosa all the way to Calvary

    The blood that would cleanse
    The souls of all men
Made its way to the heart
    Of Jerusalem

Down the Via Dolorosa called the “Way of Suffering”
Like a lamb came the Messiah, Christ the King
But He chose to walk that road
Out of his love for you and me
Down the Via Dolorosa all the way to Calvary

    VIA DOLOROSA
    (LYRICS)

Down the Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem that day
The soldiers tried to clear the narrow streets
But the crowd pressed in to see
The Man condemned to die on Calvary

He was bleeding from the beatings
There were strips upon His back
And He wore the crown of thorns upon His head
And He bore with every step
The scorn of those who cried out for His death

    CHORUS
Down the Via Dolorosa called the way of suffering
Like a lamb came the Messiah, Christ the King
But he chose to walk that road out of His love
    For you and me
Down the Via Dolorosa all the way to Calvary

Fee tareek el Golgotha kad sara yaoman sayedee
Wal gonoodo tas3a kai tokhly tareek
Iz tazahama lgamee3 leyarao kaifa yokafaa sedeek

    CHORUS
Fee tareek el Glogotha sara elahona alhabeeb
    Sara tao3an wa khtiaran lesaleeb
    Kabila yasoo3 almaota
    Men aglek wa men aglee
Fi tareek el Golgotha sara alhabeeb
    Ela saleeb

    The blood that would cleanse
    The souls of all men
Made its way through the heart
    Of Jerusalem

    CHORUS

He walked that road for you and me
    To Calvary

    Please pray for me.
