Great Fast weekdays: Supplications

Hi,

In Coptic Reader, during the Matins of the weekdays of the Great Fast, the supplications ends with 3 Kyrie Eleison.

When I was in Egypt few days ago, the Mo3alem ended the supplications with a long Kyrie Eleison, the one we say at the end of "Eklinomen ta ghonata" during the weekdays Liturgies.

Do you know which one is correct? 3 Kyrie Eleison or 1 long Kyrie Eleison?

Regards
Yoan.

  • Thank you for the confirmation.
  • I know about this. but, the books say "ⲕⲩⲣⲓⲉ ⲉⲗⲉⲏⲥⲟⲛ" in the oblations tune is said, referring to the long Lord have mercy that is said in the long litany of Oblations.
