A reading from the Acts of our holy fathers,
من اعمال آبائنا الرسل القديسين.
(epraksis)(ⲡ̀ⲣⲁⲝⲓⲥ) esnavⲃ̅ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ neniotiⲛⲉⲛⲓⲟϯ enapostolosⲛ̀ⲁ̀ⲡⲟⲥⲧⲟⲗⲟⲥ
the apostles,
أبركسيس (2) أبائنا االرسل
ereⲉ̀ⲣⲉ pou-esmouⲡⲟⲩⲥ̀ⲙⲟⲩ ethowabⲉⲑ̅ⲩ̅ shopiϣⲱⲡⲓ nemanⲛⲉⲙⲁⲛ ameen.ⲁⲙⲏⲛ.
may their holy blessings be with us all. Amen.
بركتهم المقدسة تكون معنا. آمين.
OuohⲞⲩⲟϩ enehreeⲛ̀ϩ̀ⲣⲏⲓ theⲇⲉ khenϧⲉⲛ naiⲛⲁⲓ ehoouⲉ̀ϩⲟⲟⲩ aftonfⲁϥⲧⲱⲛϥ enjeⲛ̀ϫⲉ PetrosⲠⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ
And in those days Peter stood up
وَفِي تِلْكَ الأَيَّامِ قَامَ بُطْرُسُ
khenϧⲉⲛ ethmeetiⲑ̀ⲙⲏϯ enni-esneeou:ⲛ̀ⲛⲓⲥ̀ⲛⲏⲟⲩ:
in the midst of the disciples
فِي وَسَطِ التَّلاَمِيذِ
neⲛⲉ ouonⲟⲩⲟⲛ oumeeshⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ theⲇⲉ evthoweetⲉⲩⲑⲟⲩⲏⲧ hifaiϩⲓⲫⲁⲓ efaìⲉ̀ⲫⲁⲓ enaverⲉ̀ⲛⲁⲩⲉⲣ sheϣⲉ goutϫⲟⲩⲧ enranⲛ̀ⲣⲁⲛ ouohⲟⲩⲟϩ pegaf.ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ.
altogether the number of names was about a hundred and twenty, and said,
وَكَانَ عِدَّةُ أَسْمَاءٍ مَعاً نَحْوَ مِئَةٍ وَعِشْرِينَ. فَقَالَ:
NiromiⲚⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ nenesneeou:ⲛⲉⲛⲥ̀ⲛⲏⲟⲩ:
"Men and brethren,
«أَيُّهَا الرِّجَالُ الإِخْوَةُ كَانَ يَنْبَغِي أَنْ يَتِمَّ هَذَا الْمَكْتُوبُ الَّذِي سَبَقَ الرُّوحُ الْقُدُسُ
hotiϩⲱϯ entesgokⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲥϫⲱⲕ evolⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ enjeⲛ̀ϫⲉ ti-eghrafee:ϯⲅ̀ⲣⲁⲫⲏ:
this Scripture had to be fulfilled,
فَقَالَهُ بِفَمِ دَاوُدَ عَنْ يَهُوذَا الَّذِي صَارَ دَلِيلاً لِلَّذِينَ قَبَضُوا عَلَى يَسُوعَ إِذْ كَانَ مَعْدُوداً بَيْنَنَا
thee-etafⲑⲏⲉ̀ⲧⲁϥ ershorpⲉⲣϣⲟⲣⲡ engosⲛ̀ϫⲟⲥ enjeⲛ̀ϫⲉ pi-epnevmaⲡⲓⲡ̅ⲛ̅ⲁ̅ ethowabⲉ̀ⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ evolkhenⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗϧⲉⲛ rofⲣⲱϥ endavid:ⲛ̀Ⲇⲁⲩⲓⲇ:
which the Holy Spirit spoke before by the mouth of David concerning Judas,
وَصَارَ لَهُ نَصِيبٌ فِي هَذِهِ الْخِدْمَةِ.
ethveⲉⲑⲃⲉ IoudasⲒⲟⲩⲇⲁⲥ fee-etaferchavmoitⲫⲏⲉ̀ⲧⲁϥⲉⲣϭⲁⲩⲙⲱⲓⲧ ennee-etavamoniⲛ̀ⲛⲏⲉ̀ⲧⲁⲩⲁ̀ⲙⲟⲛⲓ enieesous.ⲛ̀Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅.
who became a guide to those who arrested Jesus;
فَإِنَّ هَذَا اقْتَنَى حَقْلاً مِنْ أُجْرَةِ الظُّلْمِ
JeϪⲉ nafeepⲛⲁϥⲏⲡ enekhreeⲛ̀ϧ̀ⲣⲏⲓ enkheetenⲛ̀ϧⲏⲧⲉⲛ peⲡⲉ ouohⲟⲩⲟϩ apiopⲁ̀ⲡⲓⲱⲡ iⲓ̀ erofⲉ̀ⲣⲟϥ empi-ekleerosⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲕ̀ⲗⲏⲣⲟⲥ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ taiⲧⲁⲓ thi.ⲇⲓ.
for he was numbered with us and obtained a part in this ministry." (Now this man purchased a field with the wages of iniquity;
وَإِذْ سَقَطَ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ انْشَقَّ مِنَ الْوَسَطِ
akoni-a.ⲁ̀ⲕⲟⲛⲓⲁ̀.
and falling headlong,
فَانْسَكَبَتْ أَحْشَاؤُهُ كُلُّهَا.
FaiⲪⲁⲓ menⲙⲉⲛ ounⲟⲩⲛ afshopⲁϥϣⲱⲡ enouiohiⲛ̀ⲟⲩⲓⲟϩⲓ evolkhenⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗϧⲉⲛ efvekeⲫ̀ⲃⲉⲭⲉ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ti-athiki-a:ϯⲁ̀ⲇⲓⲕⲓⲁ̀:
he burst open in the middle and all his entrails gushed out.
وَصَارَ ذَلِكَ مَعْلُوماً عِنْدَ جَمِيعِ سُكَّانِ أُورُشَلِيمَ حَتَّى دُعِيَ ذَلِكَ الْحَقْلُ
ouohⲟⲩⲟϩ afheiⲁϥϩⲉⲓ hijenϩⲓϫⲉⲛ pefho:ⲡⲉϥϩⲟ:
And it became known to all those dwelling in Jerusalem;
فِي لُغَتِهِمْ «حَقْلَ دَمَا» (أَيْ:
afkoshⲁϥⲕⲱϣ khenϧⲉⲛ tefmeeti:ⲧⲉϥⲙⲏϯ:
so that field is called in their own language,
حَقْلَ دَمٍ).
nee-etⲛⲏⲉⲧ sakhounⲥⲁϧⲟⲩⲛ emmofⲙ̀ⲙⲟϥ teerouⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ avfonⲁⲩⲫⲱⲛ evol.ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ.

لأَنَّهُ مَكْتُوبٌ
OuohⲞⲩⲟϩ afowonhⲁϥⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ evolⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ nowonⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛ nivenⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ etshopⲉⲧϣⲟⲡ khenϧⲉⲛ Ileem:Ⲓ̀ⲗⲏⲙ:
that is,
فِي سِفْرِ الْمَزَامِيرِ:
hosteϩⲱⲥⲧⲉ ensemoutiⲛ̀ⲥⲉⲙⲟⲩϯ e-efranⲉ̀ⲫ̀ⲣⲁⲛ empiohiⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲓⲟϩⲓ eteⲉ̀ⲧⲉ emmavⲙ̀ⲙⲁⲩ khenϧⲉⲛ towaspiⲧⲟⲩⲁⲥⲡⲓ jeϫⲉ Ashelthamag:Ⲁ̀ⲭⲉⲗⲇⲁⲙⲁⲅ:

لِتَصِرْ دَارُهُ خَرَاباً

وَلاَ يَكُنْ
E-eskheeoutⲈ̀ⲥ̀ϧⲏⲟⲩⲧ gharⲅⲁⲣ hiϩⲓ epgomⲡ̀ϫⲱⲙ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ nipsalmosfg:ⲛⲓⲯⲁⲗⲙⲟⲥϥⲅ:
`Let his dwelling place be desolate3,
فِيهَا سَاكِنٌ
jeϫⲉ teferviⲧⲉϥⲉⲣⲃⲓ maresshofⲙⲁⲣⲉⲥϣⲱϥ ouohⲟⲩⲟϩ empenethrefshopiⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲛⲑ̀ⲣⲉϥϣⲱⲡⲓ enjeⲛ̀ϫⲉ fee-etshopⲫⲏⲉⲧϣⲟⲡ enkheets:ⲛ̀ϧⲏⲧⲥ:
And let no one live in it´;
وَلْيَأْخُذْ
entefmetepiskoposⲛ̀ⲧⲉϥⲙⲉⲧⲉ̀ⲡⲓⲥⲕⲟⲡⲟⲥ mareⲙⲁⲣⲉ keowaiⲕⲉⲟⲩⲁⲓ chits.ϭⲓⲧⲥ.
and `Let another take his office.´
وَظِيفَتَهُ آَخَرُ.
PisajiⲠⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ theⲇⲉ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ EpshoisⲠ̀ⲟ̅ⲥ̅ efeaiaiⲉϥⲉ̀ⲁⲓⲁⲓ ouohⲟⲩⲟϩ efe-ashaiⲉϥⲉ̀ⲁ̀ϣⲁⲓ efa-amahiⲉϥⲁ̀ⲁ̀ⲙⲁϩⲓ ouohⲟⲩⲟϩ efetagroⲉϥⲉ̀ⲧⲁϫⲣⲟ khenϧⲉⲛ ti-agiaϯⲁ̀ⲅⲓⲁ enekekleesiaⲛ̀ⲉⲕⲕ̀ⲗⲏⲥⲓⲁ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ Efnouti.Ⲫϯ.
The word of the Lord shall grow, multiply, be mighty and be confirmed in the holy church of God. Amen.
لم تزل كلمة الرب تنمو وتكثر وتعتز وتثبت فى كنسية الله المقدسة، آمين.
