20:1 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
20:1 Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲓⲛⲁⲩ ⲉ̀ⲟⲩⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲉ̀ⲁϥⲓ̀ ⲉ̀ⲡⲉⲥⲏⲧ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲧ̀ⲫⲉ ⲉ̀ⲣⲉ ⲡ̀ϣⲟϣⲧ ⲙ̀ⲫ̀ⲛⲟⲩⲛ ⲛ̀ⲧⲟⲧϥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⲛ̀ϩⲁⲗⲏⲥⲓⲥ ϧⲉⲛ ⲧⲉϥϫⲓϫ.
1 وَرَأَيْتُ مَلاَكاً نَازِلاً مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَعَهُ مِفْتَاحُ الْهَاوِيَةِ، وَسِلْسِلَةٌ عَظِيمَةٌ عَلَى يَدِهِ.
20:2 He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years;
20:2 Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲁ̀ⲙⲟⲛⲓ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲇ̀ⲣⲁⲕⲱⲛ ⲡⲓϩⲟϥ ⲡⲓⲁⲣⲭⲉⲟⲥ ⲉ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲆⲓⲁⲃⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⲡⲉ ⲡ̀Ⲥⲁⲧⲁⲛⲁⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲥⲟⲛϩϥ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩϣⲟ ⲛ̀ⲣⲟⲙⲡⲓ.
2 فَقَبَضَ عَلَى التِّنِّينِ، الْحَيَّةِ الْقَدِيمَةِ، الَّذِي هُوَ إِبْلِيسُ وَالشَّيْطَانُ، وَقَيَّدَهُ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ،
20:3 and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while.
20:3 Ⲁϥϩⲓⲧϥ ⲉ̀ϧ̀ⲣⲏⲓ ⲉ̀ⲫ̀ⲛⲟⲩⲛ ⲁϥⲙⲁϣ̀ⲑⲁⲙ ⲉ̀ⲣⲱϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲧⲱⲃ ⲥⲁⲡ̀ϣⲱⲓ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟϥ: ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉϥϣ̀ⲧⲉⲙⲥⲱⲣⲉⲙ ⲛ̀ⲛⲓⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ϣⲁⲧⲟⲩϫⲱⲕ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲡⲓϣⲟ ⲛ̀ⲣⲟⲙⲡⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲉⲛⲉⲛⲥⲁ ⲛⲁⲓ ϩⲱϯ ⲡⲉ ⲛ̀ⲧⲟⲩⲃⲟⲗϥ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̀ⲕⲉⲕⲟⲩϫⲓ ⲛ̀ⲥⲏⲟⲩ.
3 وَطَرَحَهُ فِي الْهَاوِيَةِ وَأَغْلَقَ عَلَيْهِ، وَخَتَمَ عَلَيْهِ لِكَيْ لاَ يُضِلَّ الأُمَمَ فِي مَا بَعْدُ حَتَّى تَتِمَّ الأَلْفُ السَّنَةِ. وَبَعْدَ ذَلِكَ لاَ بُدَّ أَنْ يُحَلَّ زَمَاناً يَسِيراً.
20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.
20:4 Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲓⲛⲁⲩ ⲉ̀ϩⲁⲛⲑ̀ⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⲉ̀ⲁⲩϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ ϩⲓϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲁⲩϯϩⲁⲡ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲛⲓⲯⲩⲭⲏ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲁⲩϧⲟⲑⲃⲟⲩ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ϯⲙⲉⲧⲙⲉⲑⲣⲉ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ Ⲓⲏⲥⲟⲩⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ Ⲫ̀ϯ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲏ ⲉ̀ⲧⲉ ⲙ̀ⲡⲟⲩⲟⲩⲱϣⲧ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲑⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲧⲉϥϩⲩⲕⲱⲛ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲏ ⲉ̀ⲧⲉ ⲙ̀ⲡⲟⲩϭ̀ⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉϥⲧⲉⲃⲥ ⲉ̀ⲧⲟⲩⲧⲉϩⲛⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲧⲟⲩϫⲓϫ ⲁⲩⲱⲛϧ ⲛⲉⲙⲁϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲉⲣⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲛⲉⲙ Ⲡⲓⲭ̀ⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲛ̀ⲟⲩϣⲟ ⲛ̀ⲣⲟⲙⲡⲓ.
4 وَرَأَيْتُ عُرُوشاً فَجَلَسُوا عَلَيْهَا، وَأُعْطُوا حُكْماً. وَرَأَيْتُ نُفُوسَ الَّذِينَ قُتِلُوا مِنْ أَجْلِ شَهَادَةِ يَسُوعَ وَمِنْ أَجْلِ كَلِمَةِ اللهِ. وَالَّذِينَ لَمْ يَسْجُدُوا لِلْوَحْشِ وَلاَ لِصُورَتِهِ، وَلَمْ يَقْبَلُوا السِّمَةَ عَلَى جِبَاهِهِمْ وَعَلَى أَيْدِيهِمْ، فَعَاشُوا وَمَلَكُوا مَعَ الْمَسِيحِ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ.
20:5 But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
20:5 Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡ̀ⲥⲉⲡⲓ ⲛ̀ⲛⲓⲣⲉϥⲙⲱⲟⲩⲧ ⲙ̀ⲡⲟⲩⲱⲛϧ ϣⲁⲧⲟⲩϫⲱⲕ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲡⲓϣⲟ ⲛ̀ⲣⲟⲙⲡⲓ. Ⲑⲁⲓ ⲧⲉ ϯⲁ̀ⲛⲁⲥⲧⲁⲥⲓⲥ ⲛ̀ϩⲟⲩⲓϯ.
5 وَأَمَّا بَقِيَّةُ الأَمْوَاتِ فَلَمْ تَعِشْ حَتَّى تَتِمَّ الأَلْفُ السَّنَةِ. هَذِهِ هِيَ الْقِيَامَةُ الأُولَى.
20:6 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.
20:6 Ⲱ̀ⲟⲩⲛⲓⲁⲧϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲟⲩⲁⲅⲓⲟⲥ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ Ⲫ̀ϯ ⲫⲏ ⲉ̀ⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲛⲧⲉϥ ⲟⲩⲙⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⲙ̀ⲙⲁⲩ ϧⲉⲛ ϯⲁ̀ⲛⲁⲥⲧⲁⲥⲓⲥ ⲛ̀ϩⲟⲩⲓϯ ⲉ̀ϧ̀ⲣⲏⲓ ⲉ̀ϫⲉⲛ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲛ̀ⲛⲉϥϫⲉⲙ ⲉⲣϣⲓϣⲓ ⲉ̀ϩ̀ⲣⲏⲓ ⲉ̀ϫⲱϥ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲙⲟⲩ ⲙ̀ⲙⲁϩⲥ̀ⲛⲟⲩϯ (ⲃ̅) ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲉⲩⲉ̀ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛ̀ϩⲁⲛⲟⲩⲏⲃ ⲙ̀Ⲫ̀ϯ ⲛⲉⲙ Ⲡⲓⲭ̀ⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲩⲉ̀ⲉⲣⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲛⲉⲙⲁϥ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓϣⲟ ⲛ̀ⲣⲟⲙⲡⲓ.
6 مُبَارَكٌ وَمُقَدَّسٌ مَنْ لَهُ نَصِيبٌ فِي الْقِيَامَةِ الأُولَى. هَؤُلاَءِ لَيْسَ لِلْمَوْتِ الثَّانِي سُلْطَانٌ عَلَيْهِمْ، بَلْ سَيَكُونُونَ كَهَنَةً لِلَّهِ وَالْمَسِيحِ، وَسَيَمْلِكُونَ مَعَهُ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ.
20:7 Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison
20:7 Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲁⲩϣⲁⲛϫⲱⲕ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲡⲓϣⲟ ⲛ̀ⲣⲟⲙⲡⲓ ⲉⲩⲉ̀ⲃⲉⲗ ⲡ̀Ⲥⲁⲧⲁⲛⲁⲥ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓϣ̀ⲧⲉⲕⲟ.
7 ثُمَّ مَتَى تَمَّتِ الأَلْفُ السَّنَةِ يُحَلُّ الشَّيْطَانُ مِنْ سِجْنِهِ،
20:8 and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea.
20:8 Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϥⲉ̀ⲥⲱⲣⲉⲙ ⲛ̀ⲛⲓⲉ̀ⲃⲓⲁⲓⲕ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓϥ̀ⲧⲟⲟⲩ ⲗⲁⲕϩ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡ̀ⲕⲁϩⲓ Ⲅⲱⲅ ⲛⲉⲙ Ⲁ̀ⲅⲱⲅ ⲉⲩⲉ̀ⲑⲟⲩⲱⲧⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ⲡⲓⲡⲟⲗⲉⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉ̀ⲧⲉ ⲧⲟⲩⲏ̀ⲡⲓ ⲟⲓ ⲙ̀ⲫ̀ⲣⲏϯ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓϣⲟ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲫ̀ⲓⲟⲙ.
8 وَيَخْرُجُ لِيُضِلَّ الأُمَمَ الَّذِينَ فِي أَرْبَعِ زَوَايَا الأَرْضِ: جُوجَ وَمَاجُوجَ، لِيَجْمَعَهُمْ لِلْحَرْبِ، الَّذِينَ عَدَدُهُمْ مِثْلُ رَمْلِ الْبَحْرِ.
20:9 They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them.
20:9 Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲓ̀ ⲉ̀ⲡ̀ϣⲱⲓ ⲉ̀ϫⲉⲛ ϯⲟⲩⲏϣⲥⲓ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡ̀ⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲕⲱϯ ⲉ̀ϯⲡⲁⲣⲉⲙⲃⲟⲗⲏ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲁⲅⲓⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ϯⲃⲁⲕⲓ ⲙ̀ⲃⲉⲣⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲓ̀ ⲛ̀ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲭ̀ⲣⲱⲙ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲧ̀ⲫⲉ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲛ Ⲫ̀ϯ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲟⲙⲟⲩ.
9 فَصَعِدُوا عَلَى عَرْضِ الأَرْضِ، وَأَحَاطُوا بِمُعَسْكَرِ الْقِدِّيسِينَ وَبِالْمَدِينَةِ الْمَحْبُوبَةِ، فَنَزَلَتْ نَارٌ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللهِ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ وَأَكَلَتْهُمْ.
20:10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
20:10 Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲓⲇⲓⲁⲃⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⲉⲧⲥⲱⲣⲉⲙ ⲙ̀ⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲁⲩϩⲓⲧϥ ⲉ̀ϧ̀ⲣⲏⲓ ⲉ̀ϯⲗⲩⲙⲛⲏ ⲛ̀ⲭ̀ⲣⲱⲙ ⲉⲑⲙⲟϩ ⲛ̀ⲑⲏⲛ ⲡⲓⲙⲁ ⲉ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲑⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲙ̀ⲙⲟϥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲓⲯⲉⲩⲇⲟⲡ̀ⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲉⲣⲃⲁⲥⲁⲛⲓⲍⲓⲛ ⲙ̀ⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲛ̀ⲛⲓⲉ̀ϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲉ̀ϫⲱⲣϩ ϣⲁ ⲉ̀ⲛⲉϩ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲉ̀ⲛⲉϩ.
10 وَإِبْلِيسُ الَّذِي كَانَ يُضِلُّهُمْ طُرِحَ فِي بُحَيْرَةِ النَّارِ وَالْكِبْرِيتِ، حَيْثُ الْوَحْشُ وَالنَّبِيُّ الْكَذَّابُ. وَسَيُعَذَّبُونَ نَهَاراً وَلَيْلاً إِلَى أَبَدِ الآبِدِينَ.
20:11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them.
20:11 Ⲁⲓⲛⲁⲩ ⲉ̀ⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⲛ̀ⲑ̀ⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⲉϥⲟⲩⲟⲃϣ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲫⲏ ⲉⲧϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ ϩⲓϫⲱϥ ⲫⲏ ⲉ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡ̀ⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲫⲱⲧ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲁⲧ̀ϩⲏ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉϥϩⲟ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲧ̀ⲫⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙ̀ⲡⲟⲩϫⲉⲙ ⲙⲁⲛ̀ⲧⲱⲟⲩ.
11 ثُمَّ رَأَيْتُ عَرْشاً عَظِيماً أَبْيَضَ، وَالْجَالِسَ عَلَيْهِ الَّذِي مِنْ وَجْهِهِ هَرَبَتِ الأَرْضُ وَالسَّمَاءُ، وَلَمْ يُوجَدْ لَهُمَا مَوْضِعٌ!
20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.
20:12 Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲓⲛⲁⲩ ⲉ̀ⲛⲓⲣⲉϥⲙⲱⲟⲩⲧ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲛⲓⲕⲟⲩϫⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲛⲓϣϯ ⲉⲩⲟ̀ϩⲓ ⲉ̀ⲣⲁⲧⲟⲩ ⲙ̀ⲡⲉⲙ̀ⲑⲟ ⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲑ̀ⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲟⲩⲱⲛ ⲛ̀ϩⲁⲛϫⲱⲙ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱⲛ ⲛ̀ⲕⲉϪⲱⲙ ⲉ̀ⲧⲉ ⲫⲁ ⲡ̀Ⲱⲛϧ ⲡⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϯϩⲁⲡ ⲉ̀ⲛⲓⲣⲉϥⲙⲱⲟⲩⲧ ⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲏ ⲉⲧⲥ̀ϧⲏⲟⲩⲧ ϩⲓ ⲡⲓϫⲱⲙ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲛⲟⲩϩ̀ⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ̀.
12 وَرَأَيْتُ الأَمْوَاتَ صِغَاراً وَكِبَاراً وَاقِفِينَ أَمَامَ اللهِ، وَانْفَتَحَتْ أَسْفَارٌ. وَانْفَتَحَ سِفْرٌ آخَرُ هُوَ سِفْرُ الْحَيَاةِ، وَدِينَ الأَمْوَاتُ مِمَّا هُوَ مَكْتُوبٌ فِي الأَسْفَارِ بِحَسَبِ أَعْمَالِهِمْ.
20:13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works.
20:13 Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁ ⲫ̀ⲓⲟⲙ ϯ ⲛ̀ⲛⲓⲣⲉϥⲙⲱⲟⲩⲧ ⲉ̀ⲧⲉⲛ̀ϧ̀ⲣⲏⲓ ⲛ̀ϧⲏⲧϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲫ̀Ⲛⲟⲩⲛ ⲛⲉⲙ Ⲁ̀ⲙⲉⲛϯ ⲁⲩϯ ⲛ̀ⲛⲓⲣⲉϥⲙⲱⲟⲩⲧ ⲉ̀ⲧⲉⲛ̀ϧⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϯϩⲁⲡ ⲉ̀ⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲛⲟⲩϩ̀ⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ̀.
13 وَسَلَّمَ الْبَحْرُ الأَمْوَاتَ الَّذِينَ فِيهِ، وَسَلَّمَ الْمَوْتُ وَالْهَاوِيَةُ الأَمْوَاتَ الَّذِينَ فِيهِمَا. وَدِينُوا كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ بِحَسَبِ أَعْمَالِهِ.
20:14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
20:14 Ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲫ̀Ⲛⲟⲩⲛ ⲛⲉⲙ Ⲁ̀ⲙⲉⲛϯ ⲁⲩϩⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ϧ̀ⲣⲏⲓ ⲉ̀ϯⲗⲩⲙⲛⲏ ⲛ̀ⲭ̀ⲣⲱⲙ ⲉⲑⲙⲟϩ ϩⲓ ⲑⲏⲛ.
14 وَطُرِحَ الْمَوْتُ وَالْهَاوِيَةُ فِي بُحَيْرَةِ النَّارِ. هَذَا هُوَ الْمَوْتُ الثَّانِي.
20:15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.
20:15 Ⲛⲉⲙ ⲫⲏ ⲉ̀ⲧⲉ ⲙ̀ⲡⲟⲩϫⲉⲙϥ ⲉϥⲥ̀ϧⲏⲟⲩⲧ ϩⲓ ⲡ̀ϫⲱⲙ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡ̀ⲱⲛϧ ⲁⲩϩⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲉ̀ϯⲗⲩⲙⲛⲏ ⲛ̀ⲭⲣⲱⲙ.
15 وَكُلُّ مَنْ لَمْ يُوجَدْ مَكْتُوباً فِي سِفْرِ الْحَيَاةِ طُرِحَ فِي بُحَيْرَةِ النَّارِ.
