Then came the Day of Unleavened Bread,
وَجَاءَ يَوْمُ الْفَطِيرِ الَّذِي كَانَ يَنْبَغِي أَنْ يُذْبَحَ فِيهِ الْفِصْحُ.
O-wohⲞⲩⲟϩ afoworpⲁϥⲟⲩⲱⲣⲡ empetrosⲙ̀Ⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ nemⲛⲉⲙ YoanneesⲒⲱⲁⲛⲛⲏⲥ eafgos:ⲉ̀ⲁϥϫⲟⲥ:
when the Passover must be killed.
فَأَرْسَلَ بُطْرُسَ وَيُوحَنَّا قَائِلاً:
jeϫⲉ mashenotenⲙⲁϣⲉⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ sevteⲥⲉⲃⲧⲉ pipaskhaⲡⲓⲡⲁⲥⲭⲁ nanⲛⲁⲛ hinaϩⲓⲛⲁ entenowomf.ⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲟⲙϥ.
And He sent Peter and John,
«اذْهَبَا وَأَعِدَّا لَنَا الْفِصْحَ لِنَأْكُلَ».
EnthoouⲚ̀ⲑⲱⲟⲩ theⲇⲉ pegoouⲡⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ nafⲛⲁϥ jeϫⲉ ekowoshⲭ̀ⲟⲩⲱϣ entensevtotfⲛ̀ⲧⲉⲛⲥⲉⲃⲧⲱⲧϥ thon.ⲑⲱⲛ.
saying,
فَقَالاَ لَهُ:
EnthofⲚ̀ⲑⲟϥ theⲇⲉ pegafⲡⲉϫⲁϥ noou:ⲛⲱⲟⲩ:
"Go and prepare the Passover for us,
«أَيْنَ تُرِيدُ أَنْ نُعِدَّ؟».
jeϫⲉ heeppeϩⲏⲡⲡⲉ eretennashenotenⲉ̀ⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁϣⲉⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ekhounⲉ̀ϧⲟⲩⲛ etivaki:ⲉ̀ϯⲃⲁⲕⲓ:
that we may eat." So they said to Him,
فَقَالَ لَهُمَا:
efna-iϥ̀ⲛⲁⲓ̀ evolⲉ̀ⲃⲟⲗ e-ehrenⲉ̀ϩ̀ⲣⲉⲛ theenouⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ enjeⲛ̀ϫⲉ ouromiⲟⲩⲣⲱⲙⲓ effaiⲉϥϥⲁⲓ enoushoshouⲛ̀ⲟⲩϣⲟϣⲟⲩ emmoou:ⲙ̀ⲙⲱⲟⲩ:
"Where do You want us to prepare?" And He said to them,
«إِذَا دَخَلْتُمَا الْمَدِينَةَ يَسْتَقْبِلُكُمَا إِنْسَانٌ حَامِلٌ جَرَّةَ مَاءٍ.
moshiⲙⲟϣⲓ ensofⲛ̀ⲥⲱϥ epee:ⲉ̀ⲡⲏⲓ:
"Behold,
اِتْبَعَاهُ إِلَى الْبَيْتِ حَيْثُ يَدْخُلُ
etefnasheⲉ̀ⲧⲉϥⲛⲁϣⲉ ekhounⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ erof.ⲉ̀ⲣⲟϥ.
when you have entered the city,
وَقُولاَ لِرَبِّ الْبَيْتِ:
O-wohⲞⲩⲟϩ agosⲁ̀ϫⲟⲥ empineveeⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲛⲉⲃⲏⲓ enteⲛ̀ⲧⲉ piee:ⲡⲓⲏⲓ:
a man will meet you carrying a pitcher of water;
يَقُولُ لَكَ الْمُعَلِّمُ:
jeϫⲉ pejeⲡⲉϫⲉ pirefti-esvoⲡⲓⲣⲉϥϯⲥ̀ⲃⲱ nakⲛⲁⲕ jeϫⲉ ashpeⲁϣⲡⲉ pamaⲡⲁⲙⲁ enemton:ⲛ̀ⲉⲙⲧⲟⲛ:
follow him into the house which he enters.
أَيْنَ الْمَنْزِلُ حَيْثُ آكُلُ الْفِصْحَ مَعَ تَلاَمِيذِي؟
efmaⲫ̀ⲙⲁ etinaowomⲉ̀ϯⲛⲁⲟⲩⲱⲙ empapaskhaⲙ̀ⲡⲁⲡⲁⲥⲭⲁ emmofⲙ̀ⲙⲟϥ nemⲛⲉⲙ namatheetees.ⲛⲁⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ.
Then you shall say to the master of the house, 'The Teacher says to you,
فَذَاكَ يُرِيكُمَا عِلِّيَّةً كَبِيرَةً مَفْرُوشَةً.
O-wohⲞⲩⲟϩ fee-eteⲫⲏⲉ̀ⲧⲉ emmavⲙ̀ⲙⲁⲩ efnaϥ̀ⲛⲁ -- tamotenⲧⲁⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ eounishtiⲉⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ emmaⲙ̀ⲙⲁ efsa-epshoiⲉϥⲥⲁⲡ̀ϣⲱⲓ efforsh:ⲉϥⲫⲱⲣϣ:
"Where is the guest room where I may eat the Passover with My disciples?" 'Then he will show you a large,
هُنَاكَ أَعِدَّا».

furnished upper room;
فَانْطَلَقَا
EtavshenoouⲈⲧⲁⲩϣⲉⲛⲱⲟⲩ theⲇⲉ avjimiⲁⲩϫⲓⲙⲓ kataⲕⲁⲧⲁ efreetiⲫ̀ⲣⲏϯ etafgosⲉ̀ⲧⲁϥϫⲟⲥ noou:ⲛⲱⲟⲩ:
there make ready." So they went and found it just as He had said to them,
وَوَجَدَا كَمَا قَالَ لَهُمَا
o-wohⲟⲩⲟϩ avsevteⲁⲩⲥⲉⲃⲧⲉ pipaskha.ⲡⲓⲡⲁⲥⲭⲁ.
and they prepared the Passover.
فَأَعَدَّا الْفِصْحَ.
O-oshtⲞⲩⲱϣⲧ empievangelionⲙ̀ⲡⲓⲉⲩⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲓⲟⲛ ethowab.ⲉⲑ̅ⲩ̅.
Bow down before the Holy Gospel.
